Can u get this at Walmart?

    • Mo

Some Walmarts carried Muir Glen products for a while, but I heard recently that they were no longer going to be carrying organics at all and unfortunately haven’t been over there in a while to tell you if stock is still on the shelf or not. Maybe someone else can chime in who’s been over there lately?

The Muir Glen line of products are definitely available at my Walmart in NV. If the coupon mentioned above is a Whole Foods store coupon, it can not be used at Walmart. However, Muir Glen does release high-value manufacturer coupons frequently throughout the year, and you can use those at Walmart. Hope this helps.

Actually, it still can be used at Wal Mart according to their new coupon policy, IIRC.

Harris Teeter also a great place to get these and wait for super doubles and can score on the tomatoes too!

Hi, I am new to couponing and Hip2Save. I have a question that I was hoping someone could answer for me. I was on another coupon blog and they were talking about Walgreens sales for next week and Gillette and Old Spice being Buy 1 Get one 50% off. If I were to use the BOGO coupon for each (from the coupon inserts from the paper) how would that work? Would I pay the 50% or would the coupon only take off the price of half the bill and I would pay the rest? A little confused, thanks for your help

    • Melissa

When Axe was BOGO 50% off a few weeks ago, my sister used the BOGO coupon. Both items rang up regular price and the cashier entered the max value of the coupon (the shelf price was .10 more than the max value on the coupon) , the 50% came off at the end. The items had *BGLP* next to the price (which is short for buy one, get 2nd at lesser price).
So it worked out like this (and I don’t remember the exact price) –
      $3.99 + 3.99 less $3.99 BOGO less $1.99 sale = $2.00 (or $1 each)

Other times when I’ve used BOGO cpns on B1G1 50% off, the 2nd item rings up half off and that amount is what is the cashier takes off, so I’m paying for the price of item #1 and getting both half off. So it works out like this –
      $3.99 + $1.99 less $1.99 BOGO q = $3.99 or $2 each)

I know at Rite Aid & CVS, they take off the 1/2 priced item if you use a BOGO coupon, but Walgreens, it seems to depend on how the register is programmed for each deal.

Thank you so much for that! That helped me out a lot!

you cant use at walmart…the coupon on whole foods website is a store coupon for a 1.00 off…& walmart doesn’t take those.

  6. Dribs

At my Whole Foods, they are both priced at $1.19 – still a great deal! These are store coupons, so can be combined with manufacturer’s coupons – sometimes the cans have peelies for $1/2 – making this better than free!

You can stack at Whole Foods? Good to know!

    • crystal

it depends on the store tou have to ask them. we have to diff locations and one stacks and one does not.

If your Publix considers Whole Foods a competitor you can use this coupon there. The 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce are 89ยข, so free plus overage. This coupon doesn’t expire until 5/31 so you could just add a few cans to your shopping list every time you shop. There are a few other stackable good coupons on the Whole Foods site such as: Seventh Generation dish soap is $2.39 (at Publix) and you can stack the $1 Whole Foods coupon with the $1 coupon available on coupons.com making it only 39ยข. At my Publix the dish soap also had hang tags for $2/2 Seventh Generation Products! (The lavender & mint soap smells great!!!)

I don’t know if Whole Foods has a corporate policy on stacking, so you might want to ask, but every cashier I’ve asked at my Whole Foods (in Illinois) has allowed it.

If you head to Whole Foods to use this coupon keep in mind you can get .10 off for telling them you don’t need a bag. I didn’t realize this but I just got two cans of the tomato sauce… they were .99 each, so I used 2 coupons which brought total to nothing and my tax from .15 to .13. The cashier asked if I needed a bag and when I went to pay he said my total was .03. In looking at my receipt I got a .10 bag refund. 3 cents for two cans… not bad! So exciting! Thanks Collin!
