So even though it says on a package you can use it on one single string cheese?

    • Rebecca

This didn’t work for me the last time I tried it on the single string cheese items. The coupon beeped and the cashier didn’t accept it.

    • Stephanie

It worked for me about two weeks ago with the last coupon. However, the cashier was a bit skeptical and that one I think was only forty cents.

    • Laura

Yeah it didn’t work for me either.

  2. heidi

it told me that the coupon has been expired and is no longer available :(( the Frigo cheese one.

FYI, this coupon was also in my SS insert today: .50/1 any package Frigo brand cheese x7.31. Based on the previews I saw, I’d say it’s regional.

  6. Agnes

it says PACKAGE, they WON’T Accept it

    • Anonymous

I don’t know why they wouldn’t take it. The Q says save $.50 on any ONE package. Well, the singles are ONE and it is in a package. Right? If they weren’t meant for this shouldn’t it say “save $.50 on any package of xx amount?

      • Laura

Thats what I told the cashier the last time but her or the CSM wouldn’t take it. I wasn’t about to argue over a $.97 cheese stick.

  7. annabelle

my walmart wouldn’t let me use the .40 on a single cheese stick

  8. Sue M.

Thanks, I missed the Frigo coupon the last time. I’ll try it at my local Wal-Mart and see what happens.

  9. Andrew

If you look on the back of the frigo chees it says serving size 1 package. If it was not a package the back of the chesse would not say it was. Hopefully this will help get your walmart to take the coupons.

I used these coupons last week at Walmart. The manager on duty didn’t allow me to use it at first. He went to the store manager and the SM said same thing-the coupon wasn’t meant for singles. I stressed the point that these were in packages…what else would you call it? LOL
He said they were “Single serve”-and I ended his sentence with “package”

He finally gave in and accepted my coupon. Good luck everyone

I printed two of these coupons but with all the problems Wal-Mart has with coupon overage, I decided to not even try to get it. 🙂 Waste my time, no thanks. Wal-Mart is LOW on my list for things now. I got some reach floss there last week and had problems. Because it was 97cents and the coupon was $1 off. Finally got it, with TWO CSM’s looking at it! They are NOT following what their coupon policy says. I did buy something else which covered the $0.06 but tax was over that too! I don’t see them EVER giving money back for coupons. 🙂

I printed this coupon last time and had no promblem using it on the singles. I was able to just now print it again twice. My kids love this cheese.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I checked Walmarts price for 12 oz pkg for $3.48 and at WINCO it was $2.98 so I will be using my .50 at WINCO.

I made my first “big” couponing trip to Super Wally tonight and had a few problems, too. In the end, however, the third level of management approved my Frigo cheese sticks and I walked out with about $1.50 in “overage” after getting dental floss and a few first aid kits.

I pulled out their current, updated coupon policy, as well as the press release from corporate on their return to an emphasis on customer service and stood my ground. Had they refused – after all that – I would not have hesitated to politely contact the corporate offices and inform them of the difficulty I had at the store. I’m considering it, anyway, because none of the managers (not to mention the checker) knew about the new policy! I can’t imagine attempting a price match there – it would be disastrous.

    • Jennifer

the checker didn’t know what to do about the overage, either… coupon policy to the rescue!

  15. Nancy

Yes I purchased 24 of them this am at Walmart and got all free plus made $.17 on each one! Thanks for the deal!
