Love these cookbooks- they have awesome recipes in them. I get a few of them and save them for weddings, mothers days, and housewarming- also good to give along with a cute apron or something! 🙂

I love taste of home. I am a little concerned about the add’l annual benefits on some of the books. They send you a new book to review. I am not a big fan of those thing (I don’t always pay attention to the notices prior to shipping)
Which books did you see these on ?? I ordered the childrens books (set of 12) and didn’t see such a commitment (I think !) After I read your comment I scanned a few books and didn’t see that “books to review” thing you mentioned, but it concerned me because I didn’t want to get myself into one of those situations, for the same reasons you didn’t want to I’m sure.
It was on at least three of the cookbooks I looked at. I did order 2 cookbooks that did not say that and I also ordered the children’s book. It did not say it on those either. We should be good!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDERS!!! On my print out confirmmation they omitted the final amounts, and sent me an e-mail just today that I owed $25 for mechandise and $9.99 for S&H! I called them and questioned their bill; she wanted to know just where it was that I saw that free shipping code and I told her that I saw it somewhere on their site – I wasn’t sure anymore. Fortunately, she was willing to help me out. But, please be aware!
My print out confirmation totals matched what it said in my confirmation email but it has all these random little “gifts” that are added in per cookbook, at no charge but still a little weird. Guess we’ll watch the bank account and see if anything fishy goes on. Hopefully they come in time for Mothers Day, my mom loves Taste of Home. 🙂
