Military: FREE Scion Care Packages
I posted about this offer back in December of last year but thought that it was worth mentioning again. If you are Active Duty Military or in the Reserves, head on over here to check out this awesome offer from Scion. For a limited time, Scion is offering up all stateside U.S. military and all military stationed overseas a FREE Scion Military Care Package.
This care package includes some leisure items like beanies, a deck of cards and a complimentary hour of internet access – exclusively for U.S. Military personnel only; however, there may be some variation in the mix of items that they place in each of the care packages. To order a package, head over here to register; keep in mind that there is a limit of one care package per person every 12 months.

I have a husband who is deployed and this is his 5th deployment which makes it difficult at times. I know he loves getting goodies and surprises; well since he was home on r&r, he showed me his care package he got from Toyota so I thought I share with you…

That is an awesome offer and I have to say thanks so much to all service members and their families, especially those like your reader who have experienced so many deployments.
These ship really quick too! I have a son stationed in Groton, CT and he got his within 3 weeks and my son onboard the USS Enterprise got his in like 6 weeks! Thanks to SCION and to HIP2SAVE! The both loved them!

I think it’s great that they do this. More companies should do things for our men & women in the military.

Collin Maybe you could provide a name or two of service men/women that you are aware of that would like to have this. I do not have anyone still in the service but I think it would be great if people like myself could send these to the many brave soliders that serve our country every day. Not sure this is kosher but I would like to see if it is possible. I am sure you know of someone who could use these products.

Dawn, I was having some trouble with the form and I contacted SCIOn (through the contact us tab). I got a response very quickly and was told they would personally make sure my son got his pckg. You might want to write them and let them know! 🙂
Hubby didn’t receive the last one either, even though I did get the email confirmation.

My husband didn’t get his until recently. I also contacted them using the “contact us” link on their page and they sent the care package very quickly after that. Hope this helps!
My husband got his last week. Only took a week from when I ordered it to when he got it.
Thanks for posting this, Collin. It reminded me that my husband never got his that we ordered back in December. I called and they said we should have gotten it by now so they will try to send it again. I hope he gets it this time!

Just bought a Scion in January, love it. I did tons of research before buying and it really fit all of our needs and has great saftey ratings. Wish they gave out the package to Scion owners too, oh well.
i bought a brand new xb in 2005, still LOVE it! great gas mileage and its still running great! did research before i bought it as well, everybody is always so surprised how big it is inside!
I know, I wanted something with more back seat space then our Rav-4 had. We brought along the car seat to make sure it would be a comfy fit. Plus unlike the Rav two adults can still sit in the back with the car seat in the middle.
A baseball cap! I kept looking at that picture and thinking how bold and a little strange that they were giving away bustiers. It’s all coming together.

My pay scale wont work…….??????????

What paygrade are you trying to get?
I had trouble with the pay grade too- said it was invalid- I’m entering E-5 for my hubby
My son and daughter-law are both military. They said use capital O orE not zero or lower case hope that helps.; )
I was having problems with the pay scale code also. My brother inlaw is a Sgt. and his pay scale code is e-5. I emailed Scion to tell them that it wasn’t working, and got a reply back stating that the rank had to match up with the code. So I decided to pick a different pay scale code (by counting the ranks until I got to Sgt. which was #6 on the list) and it worked! so if you are sending one to a sgt. choose pay scale code e-6. (private: e-1, private 2: e-2, pfc: e-3 etc…) Hope this works for you too!
I tried what you said and it still wasn’t working for me….I am a specialist and i tried everything from E3-E6 and no luck
Awesome! My husband is retired military, so he doesn’t need it anymore, but it warms my heart to see this support for the military from Scion. And we LOVE our Scion xB!

got one of these last year for my husband, i sleep in the t-shirt they sent, its so soft!
I wish there was a way that we could send it for our family and loved ones over seas, have it be a surprise to them. I don’t know enough information about the loved ones over seas to fill this out and have it sent to him. Is there any way that we can have them sent over? I know he is not able to get to the internet to do things like this. When he is on the computer it is for talking with family.
order it for him then ship it in a flat rate box.

I got the pay scale to work but under unit # it asks for UIC #. not sure what to put in that space. thank you
I post the link to the last packages back in December on my husband’s unit page. Several other ladies from my hubby’s unit (about 15) & I ordered. We have yet to see anything from them. We all received the confirmation email.

We got one that was very similar. Instead of the hat, we had a CD. Everything else was the same. We have gotten them two years in a row now. The first year we participated they offered a care package for kids of military members. We got 3 stuffed toy scion cars. They were really cute!

well i was trying e 4 since i just got promoted for the pay grade but it wouldnt work so i put e 3 in and it worked no problems. thanks scion doing great things
