If you purchased the CVS e-Gift cards that I mentioned here (no longer available :( ), you can use them after all your other manufacturer’s coupons for even sweeter deals (treated just like a gift card)!   Also, be sure to scan your CVS card at the Magic Machine this week to receive a $3/10 healthcare coupon (as stated on last page of ad) that will sweeten the deals this week!  If you’re a newbie to CVS shopping, be sure to check out my CVS Store Guide!

There is a b2g1 Nivea coupon in the June issue of All You.

    • Julieanne28

      My plan is to buy:
      3 Nivea Body wash $4.88 (14.64)
      2 Nivea Lip care $2.99 (5.98)
      Minus b2g1 coupon 4.88
      2 $1/1 body wash coupons
      1 $2/2 lip care coupons
      Pay $11.74 get back $5
      $6.74 for all 5 (1.35 each)
Hope this makes sense I don’t have Collin’s flare for breaking it down 🙂

      • Sean

There is a -$1 Nivea Lip Care coupon in the May issue of All You. You could do this to keep your out of pocket down:

        3 Nivea Body wash $4.88 (14.64)
        1 Nivea Lip care $2.99
        Minus b2g1 coupon 4.88
        2 $1/1 body wash coupons
        1 $1/1 lip care coupon
        Pay $9.75 get back $5
        $4.75 for all

        • Julieanne28

Thanks! I didn’t see the $1/1. I thought all I had were the $2/2 that I had printed. Awesome deal & I really love these products!

    • Collin

Oh thanks! Even better deal! 🙂

  2. Emily

The Physicians formula is on sale for $6 OFF. xD

most items are priced around $10, so free. One item is $6.29, so if included, only .29!

    • Christie

I found $4 peelies on the Physician’s Formula products when I was at Ralphs (Kroger) so maybe there are some at CVS too.

  3. Laura

I’m confused about Savingstar… is it fraud to use this company and a manufacture coupon on the same item? Or is it like using a store coupon and a manufacture coupon on the same item? You would think if it was wrong, they would make it so you couldn’t do this? I say this, but there are people (think extreme couponing, that’s all I’m saying) that use coupons on the wrong product for more savings, and that “works”. It’s not right, but it works. AHHHHH! What to do?

    • Krystal

No, it’s neither a manu coupon or a store coupon. It links up to your store cards and then the amount of whatever they say for instance on the Hidden Valley, that $1 will get deposited into your savingstar account, you need $5 in savings in order to do anything with it.

      • Heather

Is it kind of like a Upromise account? I am confused too.

        • Krystal

I don’t use Upromise or know much about it, but I think so.

          • Suszy

Yes, that’s how Upromise works- you link up all yor store cards and credit cards and when you purchase something they give your account so much money. Mine goes to my son’s college fund so I don’t know if they give you actual money back like Savingstar

  4. Ashleigh

    Collin – I just printed a $1/1 Ester-C coupon from coupons.com (90210) – I’ve tried the Ester-C recently and they’re delicious!!

    • cathy

If you go to the ester-c site you can get a $2 off coupon. If you haven’t printer one before.

      • Ashleigh

Even better!! Thanks for the heads up. I’m sure these will be out by the time I get to CVS.. probably go to Wal-Mart and ad match 🙂

      • Collin

        Thanks! Added to post! 🙂

  5. Kim K.

On the Physicians Formula make up it is actually $6 off the regular price, not on sale for $6. Still a great deal though!

    • Collin

Oopsie…updated the post! Actually I think it should make for an even sweeter deal if the Concealer Sticks priced at $5.99 (online price) are included in the sale! Should be free?!? 🙂

      • Kim K.

I don’t think those were last time but some of the 10.99 items were included so it was still free after coupon! Definitely a sweet deal!

        • Collin

Oh thanks for the update. Yes, an awesome deal 🙂

  6. fairy dust

Thank you for mentioning the other place (All You) to find a $1/1 Finesse coupon — my 5/8 SS didn’t have one and I was going to pass on the Finesse rebate because of that. But now I can get me some better-than-free ‘poo!

  7. Holly

    Thanks, Collin!

    • Collin

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  8. cathy

I got my John Freida Precision Foam Colour hair colour coupon also. Do you think $2 is the best deal? Or are you going to wait and see if a better moneymaker comes around? It seems like there have been a number of Foam colour deals.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did this deal at target last night. Buy two @ 11.99 get a $5 gift card. Used the free coupon plus the $5 MQ from the paper plus two $5 target q’s making it a money maker! Paid for my little girl new shoes!

      • Shannon

Can I just vent for a minute? We are always talking about people using coupons ethically, and not ruining it for other couponers. How is using two Target coupons ethical usage when it clearly says “Limit one coupon or offer per transaction”? There’s no gray area to me on this. Why do some people continue to say that you can use more than one if the cashier will push it through? Just because it scans or your cashier lets you, doesn’t make it right to do. As ethical couponers, we ought to do the right thing.

        • krys

Just to let you know, there was a Target coupon for $5 off this product in the beauty bag that some of us got by mail. (we had to sign up for it) That coupon did not state only one per order, so if you used that one and the one from the Target site, you didn’t break any rules. 🙂

          • Shannon

Thanks for clarifying this for me. I got that book too, and I wish she had said where they were from….I would have used it too! I assumed that they were both from Target’s website. I’m just saying that blogs (not necessarily here!) have okay’d using more than one Target Q in a single transaction. They say “if your cashier will allow.” Not okay in my book, and I’m sure most of us feel the same! 🙂

    • jmartcougar

I went to wags and used my free john frieda and didn’t get anything how is it people are getting RR or even gift cards (at target) on items that are free?

      • Autumn H

Hopefully I can explain so it makes sense for ya! If it doesn’t then sorry and I was just trying to help lol that’s my disclaimer! (: When ever a store has a sale such as this one at cvs you need to purchase the item and when you do you receive the 2 ECB so when the item is scanned at checkout that counts as you purchasing it even though you use a coupon to get it for free. so lets just say that all you purchased on that shopping trip was the hair color you would still get it for free because of your MQ and you would get the 2 ECB because of the CVS sale. HTH (oh and don’t feel bad that you didn’t get a money maker, I just used my coupon on Thursday at CVS because I had a 5/25 coupon I wanted to use, and even though I got the item free with coupon the actual price counted towards my total.)

    • Mhodg25

its just my opinion but I got the John Frieda Color Foam from Rite Aid for 2 dollars and I was not happy with the results. It might have just been my color I used but I was going for a lighter look and my hair is much darker. I wasn’t happy the product.

  9. Amy

Anyone know of any Disney/Marvel vitamin coupons???
    Thanks!

    • Brianna

      I can’t find any either 🙁

    • Kim C.

They often have peelies on them so if you don’t find any others, keep an eye out.

    • Angie Moore

I was looking for those too and haven’t found any.

  10. Monica

I typed “Health Care” into the CVS dot com search function and it displayed 1319 items, including sunblock and toothbrushes so that $3/$10 Healthcare may be very valuable after all.

    • melony

I used it on the Neutrogena suncare today and it worked great!!

      • Cindy Drago

I wish I had read this earlier. I got the $3/10 healthcare coupon. I purchased the Neutrogena sunblock today too and the thought never crossed my mind to use it. 🙁

  11. Kelley

I got a $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase….Would I be able to use that with the Neutrogena suncreen deal?

    • stela

I was thinking the same thing too! But, I don’t see the neutrogena sun care in the ad, what page is it on???

      • Kelley

It’s on page 6- with the “summer savings”

        • stela

          Thanks!

  12. Mitch

Buy 2 Neutrogena sun care or sunless tanning is the deal for me as all our sun block expired from last summer.
And, I just cashed in most of my Swagbucks for a $25 CVS gift card – I did almost nothing to get those and now I have a great gift card!
    All thanks to your guidance!

    • Renee

Really? Sunscreen should be good for about 3 years I thought?

      • anon

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO no way. Sunscreen has about the strictest expiry dates, next to milk. The chemicals start losing effectiveness pretty soon after.

  13. shanda

i printed off the wisk coupon but it says off 45 oz or larger 🙁 bummer

  14. Collin

    Hi Shanda,
According to the online sizes, the 32 load bottle is 50 oz. so you should be fine to use that coupon! 🙂

  15. Jennifer

With the sundown vitamin b1g1 free sale how can you use the $3 of $10 purcase if the vitamin is only $5.99 and you get one for free???? You are only spending $5.99 not $10

    • Collin

You are spending more than $10 before the Buy 1 Get 1 sale comes off at the end…and you can use CVS coupons in conjunction with sales and mfg. coupons. You may want to just hand over your CVS coupon first 🙂

      • Jennifer

        THANKS COLIN!!

  16. Andrea

how much is the pantene shampoo on sale for ? It is BOGO sale so it seems like it would be pretty good deal with my coupons.

    • Janessa

If I remember correctly I think it is a b1g1 50% off deal, not free. Sorry

    • Jessica

It is BOGO so I’m surprised I didnt see it here. Shampoo and conditioner is $4.99 each and there is a $3.00 off 2 so you pay $1.99=.98 each! Bought it yesterday!

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

will the little nivea 2.99 specials work at cvs they have a new shipment in my cvs, on the deal???

  18. angie

what about the $5 off physicians coupon that was online a couple weeks ago. Its good til 6/15/11.

  19. ashley

Wouldn’t the kettle chips be $2.00 a piece, not $1.50? Am I missing something?

    • Collin

      Ooops…you’re right! Thanks!

  20. Sara S.

Collin, I also received last week from the CVS machine a $4 off John Freida Precision Foam Colour hair colour- making that deal even better. 🙂

  21. Sean

Just a little tweek on Collin’s band-aid scenario

Band-Aid Water Block Plus Adhesive Bandages $2.89
    Neosporin Ointment Original $5.79
    (2) Johnson & Johnson First Aid To Go Kit $1.98
    Subtotal = $10.66
    -$1.50 Band-Aid & Neosporin product SS 4/17
-$1/2 Johnson & Johnson Red Cross brand product, RP 3/13
$3 off $10 healthcare purchase CVS coupon

Total $5.16 Get back 3 ECB making them $2.16 or 54 cents each
Also check your binders for -$1.50 Johnson & Johnson Red Cross brand product tearpad or printable to make them 42 cents each.

  22. R

Collen I think your fiber one deal needs to be recalculated:
Fiber One cereal, 14.25-16.2 oz $3.00
Buy 2, Receive $1.00 Extra Bucks, Limit 1
    Use 2 $0.75/1 coupons
Pay $4.50, Receive $1.00 Extra Buck
Final Price: $1.75 each when you buy 2

    • Collin

LOL…I’m workin’ on those Math skills once again 🙂 Thanks!

  23. jacklyn

I was wondering if anybody had any extra of the $5.00 off just my size out of the all you magazine. I am in desperate need of summer clothes please email me at byrdnjacklyn2317@yahoo.com if you have any you can send me thank you

    • Jenny

which all you is it in?

      • Mary

        May issue.

    • Betty

You can also print a $3 off any plus size apparel Target coupon on Target.com. I dont know what exactly qualifies as plus size, but it doesn’t state any particular brand or anything. My friend and I both got some cute clearance stuff… We’re both a size large in girls clothes so I assumed large could be considered plus… I really didnt know what to go off of, so we each got 2 things. I got a Marilyn Monroe t-shirt and a sundress, for less than 5 bucks and my friend got a really nice army style jacket and a cute t-shirt for under $6. The coupons went through no problem. I also got some really awesome overage at Target, my bill before coupons was 103.74 and after coupons it was… drumroll please?… 0.62 CENTS!! I even had to buy 3 chocolate bars to I could use my last 2 coupons (the register was saying it would go negative so it wouldnt take them until i got fillers). And on top of that I got a $5 gift card for getting the 2 john freida foams! It was freakin awesome! I’m really happy 😀 There was also A LOT of clothes on clearance at the store i went to. Good luck finding some great discounts on summer clothes!

      • Ashley

oh wow! congrats! thats great!!! 😀 and your new clothes sound cute!

  24. Amy

Does anyone know if any store has an Align Digestive Care deal? I have been commissioned to start getting these on awesome deals for my mom, and I finally have some coupons for it! Thanks for any info. you can share!

  25. DP

Has anyone had this told to them: I went into CVS with my $5/25 purchase and a $3/10 makeup Q spit out of the machine, and they said I couldn’t use them together because the $5/25 did not allow another xx/xx? This is the first time I have ever heard of this?

    • Krystal

As long as your total was $35 or more (and $10 of which were cosmetics) it should be fine…it’d frankly be no different than you splitting your transactions up.

    • Sarah

I had that issue months ago. any time since that I’ve had the opportunity to use multiples of those types of coupons, I’ve noticed that wording. I’d think it is anything new. We had to abide by the wording of the coupon, so you’d have to split up your transactions.

  26. LiLi

    Hi Colin,

Jus a heads up for you guys.I went to CVS today and try the physician formula deal. I did check with the manager, the $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase will be able to work on items before $6 off sales.

For eg. If a product before $6 off is 14.97,the $3 off $10 will be applicable to be used towards the product.

    So 14.97-6-3- 1(the mq i got fm newspaper)=$4.97 final price…

    Pretty worth it imho. 😉

  27. KB

Is anyone using the $5 Physicians Formula coupon we printed online a couple months ago?!?!?!?! Is using it still legit?

    • Betty

I think it is….? I just used one on a clearance item at Meijer this past week, it went through no problem and even adjusted itself down to the clearance price at the U-scan. I think it should be fine… Anyone know for sure?

    • Julie

I’ve used TONS of them and had NO problems. They’ve never beeped or anything. Sure has made for some great mm.

  28. stela

I went to CVS tonight to buy the Nivea lip care so I could use the $3 off of $10 cosmetics coupon but I was a little disapointed. The basic lip care/balm price was raised from $2.99 to $3.39 : ( I checked out the Neutrogen suncreen/block and the cheapest one is around $10.00 and goes as high as $14.99. Even with the coupons and the rewards it’s not really worth it, at least not for me . . . guess I’ll be staying away from CVS this week too.

  29. Brianna

I looked at my receipt and under the Green Bag Tag uses it says “Quantity needed to earn this reward: 4″… but no $1EB printed out. Does that mean they chaged it to 5 scans per $1EB?

    • JenFish19

I got my $1 ecb yesterday and it was my 4th scan.

    • Krystal

So I’m guessing you’ve already had it scanned and you didn’t get the coupon after the 4th scan? It may have gotten mixed up in other extrabucks…I have a grand total of 277 scans (I know…I know…) on my card and 3 left to get my next one, it’s never not printed the extrabuck.

  30. Irina

I have a question about Nivea scenario.
“Use the Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon found in the June issue of All You mag.
Plus, use 2 $1/1 body wash coupons found in the May issue of All You mag. or here”
I thought we can not “stack” coupons like this… can someone explain?

    • Julieanne28

You aren’t stacking. You are using the $1/1 coupons on the 2 body washes that you are purchasing at full price; it would be stacking if you tried to use the b2g1 free & 3-$1/1 coupons. Hope that helps.

      • Jennifer

I tried to use 2 coupons on 2 Right Guard deoderants at $2.99 = $1ECB each. I had a BOGO coupon and a $1 off coupon. However, CVS would not accept them together. My thinking is the $1 off coupon is for the one at $2.99 and the BOGO coupon is for the free deoderant. I would have paid $1.99 for both and received $2 ECB = FREE. I don’t know if it’s the order in which the coupons were scanned or some other reason. Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks!

        • Jennifer

I was able to go to a different CVS today – both coupons were accepted with no problem. Ended up with FREE deoderant for my hubby! Thanks!

  31. Lpmousse

I got 2 Neuteogena sunscreens (no sticks at my CVS) for $22.58 total, minus $7 in coupons from the newspaper and magic coupon machine, and a few ECB and then paid with a gift card I had gotten online for free. Looking forward to going to the Jersey shore this summer!

  32. Ashley

i saw some $4 off peelies at rite aid (i have to get to cvs…) for the physitians formula makeup so in case you’re like me and didn’t get the $5 off coup or are to worried to use it (i’ve heard some had probs, some did not) it should make it $1! (if cvs has it…pf’s facebook page says it’s a new promotion….)

  33. Lucy

Regarding the Scott paper towel $1.00 coupon you need to buy 4 rolls to use this coupon – so this deal won’t work.

  34. Taraneh

If you have a coupon (in this example, the v8 coupon for $1/2) can you use two of the coupons since you’re purchasing two of them (so one manufacturers coupon/bottle of v8) or in this case only 1 can be used since the coupon states its for 2 items?
    thanks!

    • Heather W

If you have a $1/2 coupon you can only use 1 for every 2 items you purchase. The coupon attaches to both of them. HTH 🙂

  35. Tara

I did the John Freida hair foam dye today and used my free coupon, I didn’t get back my $2 ECB, only a $10 one for the sunscreen and $1 one for the green tag. Did this happen to anyone else? I didn’t notice until after getting toddler DD into the car and didn’t want to go back in, I think I will stop by sometime this week.

    • angie

The exact same thing happened to me, noticed when I got in the car. Will they print the ecb even though a free coupon was used?

    • melony

I got mine today. I would think they could just print off a new one for you.

  36. amanda

i got a cvs coupon (i think it was $5 off?) out of the magic coupon machine for john freida! hopefully it isn’t expired yet or i have a nice cashier 🙂

  37. Nicole

Has anyone had success using the free Neutrogena lip blam coupon at CVS? The coupon I have says it is redeemable at Wal Mart.

    • Christie

I used two of the free lip balm coupons at CVS last week. No problem at all.

  38. Meagan

There’s a better Cottonelle wipes coupon at cottonelle.com/ You click on “get fresh with a friend” and you can get $1 off coupon making it only 99cents!

  39. Deb

I just got back from a trip to CVS and wanted to share the awesome deal on Neutrogena sunscreen I got. I singed up for e-mails through CVS.com with my extracare card and almost every Tuesday, they e-mail me either percentage off coupons or $5 off $20 coupons good through the coming Saturday. This weeks coupon was 25% off total non sale purchases. Last week, the magic coupon machine gave me a $3 off $15 skin care item. The Neutrogena sunscreen is technically not on sale, but you get $10 EB when you buy 2. So here is how the deal worked out.

    (2) Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Suntan Lotions @ 11.79 ea-$ 23.58
    – $3 off $15 Skin Care Item (magic coupon machine)
    – (2) $2 off Neutrogena Sunscreen’s printed last week
    – 25% off- $ 5.90
    Checkout total = $ 10.68
    Minus $10 EB
    Grand Total $ .68 for 2

If you don’t have the sensitive skin like in my house, this could easily turn into a moneymaker for some. The 25% off also worked with the Band-aid / Neosporin EB deal.

  40. Jessie

Can anyone give an example of a good transaction to use for the 25% off coupon. Everything I want or need is on their flyer so this coupon is not very helpful this week.

    • Deb

I used mine yesterday and even items that are in the ad, if they are just EB deals but the original item itself isn’t on sale, you can use it. I used mine for the Neutrogena sunscreen and the bandaid/neospoirin EB deals. I think it would work with the cosmetics that are spend $15 get $5 EB also. As long as the item price isn’t reduced, it will work. You pay full price for the items and the EB are just a bonus but not considered on sale. Hope that helps.

  41. Marie

Just got home from CVS and I had 2 issues.

    1. Used the John Frieda FREE hair color coupon, but I did not get the $2 extra bucks.

    2. Tried to use the $3 off $10 healthcare coupon and it just wouldn’t work. It said something about the total transaction exceeding 10 or so. The total amount was like $10.50, but the coupon didn’t work. They called the manager, but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong either, so I just voided the transaction.

Anyone knows what the problem might be?

    Thanks a lot!

  42. nankatfog

I have a question about the Nature Made BOGO.
    Couldn’t I do this?
    Buy 2 magnesium= $14.38 – bogo= $7.19
    use (2) $3 off coupons
plus use the $3 off of 10 CVS coupon
    for a total of -$1.81
Or does CVS not do overage?

  43. Rachel

I was wondering if someone could help me figure the best deal based on my coupons. I have 2 coupons one is a B1G1 free on any Nutra Nail product and the other is $3 off any 2 nutra nail products. I noticed CVS has the nail harders for $3.49. I tried using the 2 coupons to buy 2 nail harders but it wouldn’t accept my coupons. Can someone please help. Why wouldn’t it accept it and what’s the best way to use them? They expire at the end of the month and I could really use it. Thanks

  44. a

Just F.Y.I at my cvs in PA they have rimmel makeup on clearance for 75% off so I just go $100 worth of makeup for $7 after coupons and clearance!!!!!!!

    • Cfernq

OOOPPPPSSS! I just posted the same thing because I was so excited. Sorry, didn’t see yours! =)

  45. Andi

Columbus is a test market and not doing the deals or ECBs this week. I went in and they told me they were not having an ad were test marketing in the area. So I left after purchasing the babyfood clearanced and using my coupons. I forgot my bag though and called and they told me the regional manager called right after I was there and when I came back to get my bag they would honor the ECBs on the sunscreen purchase. So I got the deal but you have to specify and they are supposed to honor it. Hope that this helps someone. Oh 1 week for the next 3 months this will occur to see if people still shop there without the ECBs.

Just got back from my CVS and got a few Revlon mascara’s for 75% off!! One type was 2.09. the other 2.47, use the $2/1 coupon and you get 2 for about .55 cents!! Normally about $10 each. Did not get the B1G1 50% off, but that’s okay. They had a few other cosmetics with 75% off stickers.

I was wondering why I couldn’t find the products on my shopping list today. Standing in line today (Saturday) at CVS, another customer approached the cashier and asked for a sale flyer. She (nicely) said “there are no sales on Saturdays”. Everyone in earshot was shocked. She said they started that a few weeks ago and the flyers do only show dates through Friday. Sure enough I come home and look at this week’s flyer and it is only good through Friday May 27th. Just something to know for the future. I did not get the $10 ECB’s for the Neutrogena Sunblock as I had expected – I am also guessing this is impacted by the “no sales on Saturday” change. I got 30% my total purchase for the next 3 days so I’m not complaining 🙂 Just wanted to pass the info along.
