Graveyard Mall: Custom Mystery Boxes $21.99 + Shipping (100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!)

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Graveyard Mall is once again offering up mystery boxes, but this time they do not have any limiting theme. Instead, the idea is that each mystery box will be custom-created just for you! To help make the box perfect for you, you’ll want to be sure to provide info about you and your family in the order instructions/comment section when you place your order (i.e. age of family members, gender, clothing sizes, hobbies, whether you have pets etc.). Choose between the Guaranteed Custom Mystery Box for $21.99 + $6.99 shipping or the Oversized Guaranteed Custom Mystery Box for $21.99 + $15.98 shipping (this box contains oversized or heavy items so it costs more to ship, but it is still guaranteed) Sold Out 🙁 .

As always, if you are not happy with the mystery box, you can return it to Graveyard Mall at their expense and they will even refund your original shipping charge, so you really have nothing to lose! These Mystery Boxes will ship in approximately 7-10 days and are limited to one box per household. Be sure to order yours now as the quantities are limited and they always sell out fast!

Please note that I was a little hesitant to post about these mystery boxes as some of the feedback that I have received from past mystery box offers has been rather negative. With that being said, I have also received many emails from satisfied readers (and the box is 100% guaranteed!) so I thought that these were worth posting once again. If you’ve ordered a mystery box from Graveyard Mall in the past, I welcome your feedback below.

I was extremely pleased with the box I received a few months ago. It was well worth the money and fun to go through. We will order these again. Thanks Collin!!

  2. Michelle

I’ve seen the positive comments and am going to take a gamble – especially since I can return it and get a full refund if not satisfied.

  3. Pam

I ordered the one around christmas it was ok there was some decent things and other things I would never use. My daughters had fun with it and created teacher presents. It was kind of fun opening a mystery.

  4. Tallymomma

I’ve heard these ones are really great as long as you put in what you do like as well as what you don’t want. Often the CD’s and DVD’s are terrible and just in general I will put no trinkets or sports fan stuff.

  5. Boo Boo

Ooh, I’m going for the oversized one! I’ve gotten 2 of these before. I liked my kitchen one, but returned my holiday one. I love that you can return them if you don’t like them. Fingers crossed.

  6. Lucinda

where do you type in your preferences for the custom box?

    • Collin

      Hi Lucinda!

You write information about yourself in the order instructions/comment section at checkout. 😀

  7. Boo Boo

shop at home = 4% cash back

  8. Michele

What do they send? I don’t know how to customize if I don’t know what they mail out.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Shopping around on the site I found a few things I would really want, I wonder if the things in the box are things that are currently listed for sale?

    • Michele

I just read 3 old posts and took some ideas from what people got. Sounds like the holiday package was no good. My BIL is getting married and I put in for kitchen gadgets and barware.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Well, I did it… I hope I get a Texas A&M Nutcracker…

  10. Jenn

Has anyone bought the oversized one before? If so, what did it contain? I’m wondering if I could get something like a ready to assemble bookcase or desk?

  11. miss_artist

I just ordered one…WOW the oversized one is already gone!! I am excited to see what comes in my box…I tried to tell them everything I could think of that we like. Thanks Collin!!!

  12. Michelle @ Thrifty 101

I ordered the garden one and didn’t like anything in it. I ended up giving everything away to family/friends. I am hesitant to try this again….
If I return the box, do I have to pay the return shipping?

    • Rebecca W

Nope, you don’t have to pay shipping…I ordered the kitchen and garden boxes. Wasn’t thrilled with the kitchen. Contacted them and they refunded ALL of my money (including shipping) and told me to keep the box! I donated all of the items to a local charity…

  13. S

I ordered the kitchen one and although I did get my money back eventually, I had to write numerous emails, and it was rather time consuming as customer service is rather slow to respond. It’s fine if you have time but not so much with toddlers.

  14. Jenna

Any word on another sunglasses deal? I LOVED the mystery box of sunglasses, and will probably hold out for that one. 🙂

  15. Michelle

I ordered the mystery box before Christmas last year, and it was total junk. HOWEVER, I missed the part where I could enter my preferences. I also opted not to return it because with 3 small children at home, a trip to the post office is more of a hassle than anything! That being said, if the price was right and I entered my interests, I may actually take the gamble again!

  16. Sarah B

I ordered one too! I hope it’s good. I tried to be fairly detailed in the comments section. I only had the courage to do this since they have the great deal of letting you send it back at their cost and refunding all your money.

  17. Megan Miller

I have had my eye on these deals for a while now. Finally decided to go for it! I was not too specific, I want to be surprised.
I said I have a 2 year old girl who wears 24month or 2T clothes, no electronic toys, please. I am a 22 year old female and I like to make jewelry. No outdoor items, please. I could use a nice wall clock.

    So, we will see! Fun!

  18. Stacy

I just ordered one of these…sad that the oversized are sold out! I put quit a bit of detail in my order details. Excited to see what comes!

  19. Tracey

I ordered the home/garden mystery box and with my SO being in the landscaping industry the one pair of snippers and one pair or pruners was worth the entire box. I received some sprinklers and bird feeders and house too. Was well worth it and fun for the kids to open.

  20. amydot

I got the garden mystery box and was super happy with it. Two nice sprinklers, several quality spray heads, a sprinkler timer, a couple of pruners, a nice little spade, and a few random things like jewelry travel bags and a silicone bread pan. Also got a weird little GPS thing from like 1985 which is a gag-gift to be. 😉

  21. Jennifer S

Where do I customize my box? Or do I get to?

    • Jennifer S

      Nevermind found the comments box.

    • fran

See Collin’s response to comment #6.

  22. Kim

So I have been looking at these for awhile and decided to do one. Anyone who haas done one know how long they take to get?

  23. Kathy

I am normally very frugal & rarely buy things unless I NEED them. But….I have a weakness for surprise grab bags!! And I can customize it? How awesome is that!? I gave my age & indicated I had 2 boys under 4 yrs..reward toys/stocking stuffers. Kitchen gadgets, trivets, cookbooks. Gave my size and welcome tops, undies, socks. Told them no DVDs,CDs, since they were pretty lame in the last order. Also no candles since all 4 in my last order were in glass jars, which shattered all over the box.

  24. sarahbella0405

In for one! I debated it and debated it and debated and decided to go for it. People seem to enjoy getting them and they are returnable. Plus, got my 4% cashback from Shopathome.com. Here is the info I provided, should be interesting what they make of me..
    – 25 years old
    – female
    – Have live-in boyfriend
    – We have 1 dog and 2 cats
    – We have 3 laptops, 1 desktop, 2 xboxs, ipads, android smartphones, etc = we love technology
    – We love to cook together
    – We garden
    – Shoes = size 7
    – Can never have too many purses
    – She loves wine, he loves beer

I am excited to see what I get!

  25. Trista

I just ordered and was able to get to the regular and oversized mystery boxes! I am very excited for these to come. Love digging in and seeing whats there 🙂

  26. Tammy

I’ve been eager to order one of these boxes and just placed one for the regular mystery box. Maybe those of us that purchased one can send some pictures to Collin of what we receive in order to give some other readers an idea of whether or not to buy in the future? I think it would be fun to compare what we get from these mystery boxes. Just an idea… 🙂

  27. Jtree13

I made an order but did not know to put the info about me on the comments is there anything i can do to put info in it after the fact.

  28. Julieanne28

I have been wanting to order one of these but I am trying to be very frugal the next few weeks since we are planning a vacation & some home repairs. I opted instead to purchase a Hip2Help tour t-shirt 🙂 They are so cute & I cannot wait to get mine. Thank you so much Collin!!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oversized one is up again if anyone wanted it and was not able to get it before 🙂

  30. miss_artist

The oversized one is up again if anyone wanted it and was not able to get it before 🙂

  31. L

    I LOVE these mystery boxes!!

The Christmas one kind of sucked. The January one was AWESOME, I got the best stuff in there! The Kitchen Gadgets one was OK; I have used many of the items in there, but many of the items I haven’t used. I have used all in the Garden/Personal Care box (they had discounted it because of complaints about the personal care items in there). I’ll be getting these boxes FOR SURE!

    • Diane

What was in the January one?

  32. Diane

I am always tempted to order one of these when you post them – so I finally took the plunge. I’m a bit nervous because the total seemed pretty high after the shipping and tax was added in. Does anybody know approximately how long it takes the box to come after you order?

Anxiously waiting – I’ll let you know what I think of the “stuff” when it comes!

    • graveyardmall.com

      Hi Diane,

These boxes will take longer than normal…we are estimating 7-10 days and will update this thread if that estimation is off base. We have to read each request and then go through the warehouse getting specific items—so it will take a bit longer than usual. That said, we sincerely hope it’s worth the wait for you!

If you have any issues or do not like the value you receive, you can email customerservice(at)graveyardmall(dot)com to get a full refund including shipping costs. We are open M-F 8 am to 3:30 pm and closed on holidays. Thanks to all our Hip friends!

      • tallymomma

Any word on how long these are going to take to ship?

        • graveyardmall.com

I’m told most are out and we believe the rest should be out early this week. We hope everyone likes them and has fun! Best, gym

    • Chelsea

Ooooh, I hope mine doesn’t come this week while I am out of town, I haven’t told my husband yet, LOL!

  33. Dorothy

I was not pleased with the mystery box I ordered and after I read on your site that some people did not get refunded I was nervous, but I shipped it back and was refunded. I did have to call for the return shipping and they mailed me a check. So I was satisfied and pleased that they honored their word.I have ordered from them in the past and was very pleased with the products just not the mystery box.

  34. Jennifer S

Got my box today! Oh it was really fun to see the things we got. We got all kinds of crafts, toys, stuffed animals, fun pencils & erasers, a giant checkers game, cat & dog toys. Even sent sunscreen with KS Jayhawks on it my Hubby was happy about that its his fav team. My 2 yr old got a Mickey Mouse night light. He LOVES Mickey Mouse!
I will def buy this deal again next time. Thanks Collin for posting deal!

    • Chelsea

Still waiting for mine but it says that it has shipped, I am so impatient 🙂

      • Jennifer S

That stinks you are still waiting. I got mine fast it seems.

        • Kathy

Still waiting on mine, too. Their customer service is pretty good though. I emailed them as to when I may expect it & they forwarded the Fedex tracking page to me on the same day of my email. Says expected delivery is on Friday…of course on the one day of the week I work! I hope they deliver it early…I’ve been waiting for this for a while & am excited to get it. I ordered once before & loved about 80% of what they sent in the Christmas box! Was so worth the cost to me. So curious how they’ll customize this one.

      • Chelsea

The shipping info JUST updated and as of yesterday it was still in the same location it started a week ago? It better be good 😉

  35. Michele

    2 Mosquito repeller key chain
2 Drain strainers with Apples on top
2 Glow in the dark star/moon stickers
Stir as you cook (as seen on tv)

    Travel iron
    6pk of Liz Claiborne socks
    foot alignment socks (?)
    Flex Mirror
    Orange stripper gloves
2 ceiling light wall switch kit w. remote
black large pants (didn’t open yet so not sure)
    Stuffed dog battery operated

    • Chelsea

I’m interested in the stripper gloves, hahaha!

  36. PB

    Mine finally came!

    ‎2 marty mouse cat toys
    1 robostir mixer
    2 aluminum wallets
    1 little turquoise wallet
1 turkey salt and pepper shakers
    1 personal massager
    5 jayhawk caribener sunscreens
    2 pj sets
    1 waterproof outdoor pants
    2 sonic mosquito repellent things
    2 silicone pie molds
    1 silicone bread mold
    2 fruit and vegetable decorers
    1 usb powerpoint laser/remote
1 pair of “foot alignment socks”
3 pairs of (really comfy) pink socks
    1 pair kitchen “stripper gloves”
    2 apple shaped drain strainers
    1 mini travel iron

  37. Kathy

Mine came today too! For customizing I told them that I’m a 40 yo female & indicated I had 2 boys under 4 yrs..reward toys/stocking stuffers. Kitchen gadgets, trivets, cookbooks. Gave my size and welcome tops, undies, socks. Told them no DVDs,CDs, since they were not so good in the last order. I’ll be returning this. Here’s what I got (with my personal opinion for each item):
    -4 pr women’s socks(red & white color-thin nylon,not cotton-yuck)
    -fuzzy turquoise slippers w/tread bottom(cute looking,tried on-seams bother toes)
-black beach cover up dress w/ruffle bottom(ok but way too matronly for me)
-2 sets of tank & capri PJ’s with monkey print(print ugly but I would wear these)
-size L mens black waterproof pants(weird, not sure of their purpose)
-big rubber orange “stripper” gloves(not a clue what they are for!)
-honey bear hot pad holder-2 hot pads shaped like bee hives(cute, but doesnt go w/decor)
-4X6 ceramic picture frame, says”LIttle Prince”(cheap dollar store fare)
-2 “Chef Basket” steamer baskets(would be great if I didn’t already have a steamer bskt)
-Robostir, stirs food in pot automatically(I don’t see this as a necessity at all!)
-Alumawallet,indestructible wallet(my husband might like this, but unecessary)
    -2 Webkinz animals,huskies(cute for kids)
-mini travel iron(great idea if it works well)
-6 black, plastic, paisley shaped candy dishes(cheap looking, ugly, purpose?)
The following are things that I liked:
-6 soda can covers to convert to bottle tops(like idea of closing can & keeping from getting flat)
-2 battery powered mosquito repellers(keychain or can stand up(if it works would be great here in Florida)
-coloring activity book w/ about 100 pages(sealed in plastic so couldnt look inside, but says includes a wipe-off page)
    -2 Disney.com Mickey’s Clubhouse nightlights(really cute-would love to keep)
-interactive, musical “Old MacDonalds Farm” toy(cute & my one year old’s fave song!)

So the few things that I liked are definitely not worth the $28 that I paid. So disappointed since I waited 3 weeks for this. I appreciate that they tried to customize it for me & it seems that they did the best they could with the junk that they had! I will not be purchasing these anymore & I’m sure my husband will be happy about that!!

    • PB

The gloves are for stripping vegetables.

  38. Chelsea

My (oversized) box finally came today- 1 month after ordering… It is big and heavy, It was probably worth the wait, and definitely worth the money- although I was a little disappointed that there was nothing included from my husband’s favorite sports team even though that is what I stressed in the comments section and I could see that they were selling a couple of things with their logo on it. Oh well- here is what was in the box! There was some really good stuff to keep/ give away, and some junk to give away/ throw away…
1 cool wrench that adjusts to different sizes
3 halogen lights I would never install in my house
2 night lights (tinkerbell and winnie the pooh)
28 AA batteries in cute winnie the pooh packaging
    2 cheap military car flags
    6 cheap placemats
3 schylling brand metal toys (top, music box, kaleidoscope)
    1 VERY ugly sweater
    1 marilyn monroe bath wrap
    1 50th anniversary 1971 reproduction Malibu Barbie
    2 Aluma Wallets
    6 bottle tops for cans
    2 collapsible strainer/ steamer/ collanders
2 large packages of socks (one looks comfy, one looks uncomfy)
    2 girly customizable name plaques
    1 make it yourself calendar
2 sets of Disney Princess pajamas
    1 nice flour sifter
    1 Nexcare ankle brace
1 GE wireless remote for lamps
2 sets of 4 cute citrus pencils and erasers
    1 medium sized Conair hairdryer
1 nice ceramic container caramel toffee candle
