Hip2Help Video Update (Griffin, Georgia)

2:04 PM MST
The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Wow! The last few days have been a whirlwind filled lots of sweat, smiles, laughter and tears and very little sleep. We left Griffin, GA yesterday after a fun-filled day at a local park and a morning shopping trip with our 2 sponsored families, the Wrights and the Duffeys. I am so thankful to Hip2Save readers Brandy and Carrie for arranging the entire event, coordinating volunteers, soliciting donations, and welcoming me and the entire Hip2Save team to their wonderful town! I am also so grateful to all of you for sending in donations; without you, none of this would have been possible.

If you can’t see the video, go here to watch it.

  • Linda C. says:

Really, there are no words to adequately describe how moving, generous and inspirational your Hip2Help Tour is to see in action.

Your heart, and the hearts of your readers and volunteers shatter the belief that those of us who use coupons are only in it for themselves and to stockpile unnecessarily – the abundance of selfless giving is beyond amazing.

In an economy that stretches a lot of us to the limits of our finances the outpouring of generosity is what makes us more than just an internet community, but an internet family who responds when called upon to take care of those less fortunate.

Bravo to you and each and every person who has supported you and your efforts – I salute you!!

Keep posting the videos, it is a great reminder of just how quickly our lives can change for both the better and the worse.

Collin– I love that you were able to put all of this together, travel half way across the country, and still tell us what free samples and coupons are available. Thanks for working so hard for Hip2Help and Hip2Save!

having been through a devastating tornado/housefire, where we lost everything but the clothes on our backs, I know how these families feel. When you have nothing at all, getting gifts like what you brought to these familys is such a blessing to them, now they can feel like they have some things again. I know all “things” can be replaced, but when you see everything you worked for, for your whole life gone in a matter of seconds its extremly upsetting. There lives are forever changed and it will take a very long time for them to feel normal again. Collin, what you, your family, your readers and volunteers have done for all these families is such a blessing, Im sure your lives will be forever changed too. There is a special place in heaven for all of you.
I also love your energy, I hope you make some lifelong friends and have some fun too. Thanks for all you do.
