Hip2Help Video Update (Griffin, Georgia)
Wow! The last few days have been a whirlwind filled lots of sweat, smiles, laughter and tears and very little sleep. We left Griffin, GA yesterday after a fun-filled day at a local park and a morning shopping trip with our 2 sponsored families, the Wrights and the Duffeys. I am so thankful to Hip2Save readers Brandy and Carrie for arranging the entire event, coordinating volunteers, soliciting donations, and welcoming me and the entire Hip2Save team to their wonderful town! I am also so grateful to all of you for sending in donations; without you, none of this would have been possible.
If you can’t see the video, go here to watch it.

Wonderfully inspiring–you truly set out to do God’s work, and I know He’s smiling down proudly at how everyone came together for the good of another! Thank you for sharing Collin, and God Bless all your readers, whether they contributed supplies, coupons, or prayers!
awesome video! Can’t wait to keep hearing about all the lives you touch. Brought tears to my eyes for sure.
Great work! I am speechless and deeply touched. God Bless you.
This is the real side to extreme couponing, Helping our families and those in need. It’s not about having 100 body washes in your garage it’s all about having enough to keep your families going and helping out others where as a lot of us probably couldn’t do before finding your site. Thanks for all you do for us and for others!
very well said !
What a wonderful thing that you are doing with coupons!! Now if only TLC would make a show about this!
Tears in my eyes, too-and that’s hard for a Sjogren’s patient! Collin, you not only took care of their physical needs, but also their other most important needs by helping them forget for a little bit what they’ve been through by getting them to laugh. Providing entertainment was sooo thoughtful, girl! You are a true gem, as are your readers, and I’m so proud to be a small part of such a group. May God bless the remainder of your trip.
This is so incredible. Collin you are truly an inspiration. I got teary-eyed watching that….so touching. Keep it up and I can’t wait to see the videos of the other stops you make. You are AWESOME!!!!!
Truly amazing Collin and everyone helping you out. I have tears rolling down my face. I feel blessed to just be a small part of this and can’t wait to see the other families =]
Wow! I read the comments and thought “I’m not very emotional….why are these people tearing up?” Then, I watched it and found myself doing the same! You ARE wonderful and I am so impressed by your character that continues to shine month after month on this blog. You bring us laughter with your goofy self and also encouragement to better our communities. You are THE best couponing site because of this!
I will only say Thank you for being a different kind of blogger, thank you for being a human being!!
Collin – I am so glad there are people like you to motivate others and organize events like this one. I’ve loved several of your smaller pay it forward posts, but this is amazing. I look forward to more pay it forward events once your hip2help tour is over.
I am so proud to “know” you!
xoxo
I agree with your last comment and that’s what I find the most remarkable – not all the donations (which are BEYOND amazing) but watching everyone smiling and laughing and having fun and bringing happiness back into their lives. Keep up the amazing work!!! 🙂
Collin, I think it is wonderfull that your children get to see their mom orcastraiting this and helping others this way. What a great example to be setting for the next generation!
