  • Renee says:

Fantastic. You made me cry. Way to go! Thank you for all of your hard work and for your blog. I’ve been donating a ton of food and personal care products to my local food bank because of your blog. I wasn’t sure if they would need/want the personal care items, but they are thrilled to get them. They use them for clients needs and they also make up bags for the homeless. Thank you for helping me make my dollars go further!!

  • punzel says:

    Love it…every minute of it!

Truely amazing…it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch one of the videos. I would rather watch one of your videos over extreme couponing show ANY DAY! Thank you for EVERYTHING you do!

So of course you have to do this during my “time of the month” so instead of shedding a tear like any normal collinista, I ball like a baby! :p You are just so awesome and inspiring and I am so happy to have been privy to this amazing community for the last few years. I am so amazed at the enormous impact you have been able to and continue to make in peoples lives. Not only through your diligent reliable and thoughtful posts but now in real life, face to face. You are limitless Collin, you have the potential to do such HUGE things and you dont waste it, you use it to the fullest and I really wish there were more people like you in the world. You are so contagious, all of your incredible qualities seem to bring out those in everyone you touch and it’s honestly life changing just following you. You make me want to be a better person and pass on anything I can do to help anyone around me (which I am able to do much much more since being around H2S) You really are in a class of your own, and I hope that the feeling you get from the fantastic things you do for all of us keeps you doing it till you just can’t possibly do it anymore! The world needs you Collin, we need you to start an incurable outbreak of hip2helpitis. So glad you guys are home and feeling better! <3 & thanks infinitely for everything you all do, no words can really express the admiration and appreciation I have for your whole team. You are a true example that we CAN make a difference, and it can be a lot of FUN too! :D

Yall, I have to say this. the whole team was so wonderful. Collin, her SWEET hubby, their precious kids, Bryn and her kids, Susan, Collin and Bryns mother, I really got close to her, and Mary, their helper and all the kids andthe sitters with them, ( the kids were so polite and well behaved) the church ladies from Jville NC, Wacky Chad and his brother Isaac, you are all such a JOY be to around, EVEN when they have been sick. OH and i cant forget mr BUS DRIVER, what a fun group of people. At Chic fil a on cow appreciation day last week, we had so much fun dressed like a cow, well I was a FULL cow they wore shirts and udders and hats, it was such fun to do this in the middle of the work and prepration for the DAY OF HEALING the next day. But, let me tell you, I have NEVER been around people that I have only met for just a few hours and felt like I have known them all my life. I count it a BIG day in my life one that I will NEVER forget. The love and smiles the hard work, sweat and tears. I hated, HATED to see them go. But I look at it this way now I have 23 new friends that live all over the states, and my heart is FULL of love for each and every one of them. HIP2SAVE is not only a saving site to me now, but part of my family. I love yall!!! ~ Tina ~

  • Kim says:

Collin, I was wondering if there is a continuing effort to send things to these precious folks who have lost everything. I was unable to get things to you in time, but have enough now that I would like to send some items. Is there an address where we can continue to send things? Thanks for all you do & did to help!

    • Collin says:

      Hi Kim! :)

Currently, I do not have a donation address. Hopefully, though, we will have a new Hip2Help idea to share with all of you! Stay tuned… and thanks so much for the support! :)

  • Suzanne says:

Oh, Collin, You brought me to tears. You are a gift from God. Bless you for having such a giving spirit.

  • Beth says:

With the technical difficulties, this was the first chance I had to look at the videos. How AWESOME, how INSPIRING!! I was explaining to my three year old that this is why mommy goes couponing. (Not that she understood but I can’t wait until she’s a little older and realizes the joy of charity!)

  • Dee says:

Kudos to the whole team!! And Isaac Deitz did such a great job capturing all the love you spread on your stops. Fantastic!

  • Nancy says:

You are so amazing! You showed what God’s love is all about! Praise God!

  • kathy66 says:

Wow! Collin, you and your family and team are an inspiration. Sorry to hear so many of you got sick. Thanks for all you do!

  • catherine says:

You and your family and friends are amazing! The help that you guys provided for these families was like nothing I have ever seen before! Your site makes me want to give more and be happy for my health and family. Me and my husband have 4 kids and 2 dogs so there are alot of things to take care of every month but, I just loved seeing how these families were so humble in getting these gifts people sent in! I would like to HELP in future events because it is so important to remember not to take a single day for granted and to be thankful for what god has blessed us with :) Thanks Collin

  • wendyrose04 says:

Extending a thank you to everyone who helped with this project. It is truly inspiring! Every video’s required me to prep myself for tears. You guys remind me of all the wonderful people in the world and teach me to be thankful for what I do have.

  • Toni S. says:

Collin, thanks for sharing all this with us. It makes me want to follow in your footsteps.

  • kathy says:

    Awesome.

  • Kalyn says:

I haven’t been on the site in a while and watched this series, learned what you were doing and I am amazed and so thankful for people like you. God bless your family and all of those who donated, and I continue to pray for those who were affected by those devastating storms.

  • Hollie says:

Collin, I would like to thank you for all that you do!!! As a survivor of the May 22 tornado in Joplin Missouri I know how wonderful it is for people to donate items to help everyone out. It’s been almost 2 months and I still have a hard time with it. Everytime we have a storm I pray the sirens don’t go off so my kids aren’t scared. It’s little things that help you get through each day and knowing people like you care helps alot!! My sister and I love your site and if your ever in our area please let me know and we’ll be more than happy to show you around.

  • Jennifer B. says:

Omg Collin I would have loved to have been there too! We had a great time in Griffin but I dont remember anyone with a Goat! love it!

  • Jo-Ann says:

Love your kindness, generosity, & enthusiasm! The world is a hugely wonderful place because of you! :-)

  • lynn2 says:

You and so many have done such a great job! We all need to step up and help others and you have set the example. Thanks for caring and then doing something about it! God bless you and your family and all the helpers.

  • mary says:

Hi collin, I was always into the couponing thing especialy when the kids were little. Havin 1 in diapers and 1 in training pants at the same time, “good grief”. I used to call the companies right on the package and they’d sent really great coupons. I hated the generic diapers. I’d go to the store with my friends, and i’d be loaded up with coupons and the’d say,” oh no, your not gunna…” Yep! at least my kids “poop” wont be leakin out her diaper, and i’d be spendin less. Anyway, even when i’m in a crappy mood i put you on and get outa my head for a bit. Your, spirit, energy. IDK, but I wish you would come out with more videos.
