Crowdtap: FREE Old Navy Jeans for You & A Friend?!
Have you had a chance to join Crowdtap yet? Crowdtap allows you to tap in to engage with brands, test products, and earn cash while helping charities at the same time! Through July 24th, Crowdtap Level 2+ members can even apply to snag 2 FREE pairs of Old Navy Jeans (one for yourself and one for a friend!).
If you are a Level 2+ Crowdtap member, login to your Crowdtap account and click on the “New Actions” tab. You may then find an application for the newest Sample and Share from The Old Navy Style Council. If you’re not yet a Level 2 member, do not fret. Keep in mind that by simply signing up, logging in every day, inviting your friends, and participating in actions, you’ll earn points towards the next level.

How Does it Work?
By signing up with Crowdtap, you’ll be presented with a variety of opportunities to complete and you’ll be helping brands make major marketing decisions as well as help spread the buzz about products you like! You’ll also be able to answer “Info questions” that will help them better match you with more opportunities. How do you earn cash rewards? You can earn cash by earning top awards as a result of providing meaningful responses in discussions and participating in discussions daily. Also, once you reach level 5 you will receive a 5% cash bonus for every $10 you earn.
1.) Just head on over here and sign up for a Crowdtap account with your Facebook account
2.) Answer a few polls (click on Quick Hits) to help brands target you by your interests
3.) View Opportunities and participate with the brands and offers that interest you
4.) Earn status, rewards, and charity – the more you do, the more you get, the more you give!
How do the Rewards Work?
After your account reaches at least $10, you’ll be able to redeem your earnings in the following ways…
*Cash Rewards – Certain activity launched by brands will earn you cash rewards.
*Gift Cards – Your Crowdtap cash can be redeemed for Amazon.com gift cards
*Help Charities – You can choose to help your selected charity
*Free Products – Some activities will also offer free products and other goodies
Keep in mind that you’ll need to earn at least $9.99 before you can “redeem” your earnings (you’ll just click on the “redeem link at top”) AND 5% will automatically go to the charity you select on signup which Crowdtap will match. Then just choose to donate the rest to a charity or get an Amazon gift card e-mailed to you!
Also, the points you earn determine your “level” and each level you obtain gives you privileges on the site and showcases your accomplishment. However, keep in mind that points and dollars are completely separate in Crowdtap. Points will help you level up, unlock badges, and compete with your friends while moving up the leaderboard. Dollars translate to real money and can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards or donated to your selected charity. Individual actions can earn you points, dollars, or both but points and dollars are not directly related to one another.
If you are a current Crowdtap member, what has been your experience?
I am at a level 5 and never get picked for anything except for their survey questions and occasionally their topics of discussion ranging from summer concerts to pets. I am getting a bit agitated because I get extra points for great posts in their discussions and really have been taking the time to participate and have been offered nothing. 🙁

Me too, level 5, 100% quality rating= nada! Hopefully this is the one that will change that! I would love to give extra pair to my sis!

I was invited, but I got in on CrowdTap early (almost in the first thousand members, they have over a hundred thousand now). I probably did surveys and polls for a year before I received a sample share. I am a level 6. Earning Amazon cash is a nice from them is pretty nice, have gotten about $50. Since they started doing Old Navy sampling, I have gotten in on the majority of them, and they are a blast! They have added a lot to my wardrobe! I like that they make the site like a forum, so it is easier to keep up with it than BzzAgent for me now. I highly recommend it! I did have a friend who signed up and got a sample share for sunscreen almost right afterwards a few months ago. Maybe you just have to wait for something that fits your demographic.
They didn’t have any sample shares available yet in the first year, so I got selected for one pretty soon after they launched them.

I found it difficult to go thru your website and old navy’s, to find out after signing up i couldnt sign up for the jeans?? or did I??????

I have only been apart of Crowdtap for a month or so. I was offered the tank one and filled out the application. I did not get it though. I am now at level 5 and have 100 points in the one category. I did get the application for this one. So we will see.

I’ve only ever logged in one time before today (but I did do a whole level’s worth of quick hits that day) and ever since I’ve gotten several offers to test Old Navy items via email notification. I decided a new pair of jeans would be nice so I hope I’m selected to participate in this offer (my app is currently under review).
I think a lot of these sort of sites rely *heavily* on social networking, so my guess would be that people who FB, Twitter, Blog and now G+ are probably the ones who are going to get the better testing opportunities.
There is hope for newbies! I just joined a few days ago and I got an email inviting me to complete the application! I do love Old Navy and shop there for most of my clothes, so that may have something to do with it!:)

I’ve been a member for quite a while. I’ve received at least 4 applications for sample and share, but never been chosen. I almost always do all the quickhits & discussion ops, but never chosen. Maybe someday…
I am a level 4 and have never gotten any offers to sample either. Just quick hits and discussions which I have done. And have only earned $1. I too am getting discouraged over this one.
I just signed up a few days ago and got invited, but will not be participating since the nearest Old Navy is 2.5 hours away. 🙁
Did anyone get a congratulations you have been selected to participate screen? I got one but it also said that my answers are being moderated and I will get an email when approved. I applied for the shorts, tanks, and spring accessories and was turned for all of them – hope I get this one!!
I got that, too, then after my excitement I noticed at the bottom it said “Thank you for completing the questions. You will be contacted soon if you are accepted.” I’m hoping I get it!

Well you can lose all your time and effort put into the site. If so many people try and don’t succeed (which is understandable considering the site), it can be disheartening to continue to put effort into something. If it takes a year for some people to even get a decent sample, that doesn’t sound too worth it.

I have submitted several applications that were under review but I have never been picked 🙁 I font even have this offer available. I am an active level 4 but no luck with getting samples.
Someone please let us know when you find out whether your application was accepted. I am hoping mine is, but the last time I got an offer, I never got a follow up saying that it was or wasn’t accepted (I am assuming it was not). It will be nice to know when everyone else gets accepted so I can quit looking. I have 3 Old Navy’s pretty near my home, so it would be great to get this one.
