I just wanted to share my experience with the John Frieda items at my store in Milwaukee. The shampoos were $6 at my store, and the stylers were $8. None were marked with the ECB deal, so we price checked some of the shampoos & stylers and nothing about ECB came up. We then found some unpriced “20% more” shampoos & conditioners on an endcap and price checked those, which came up at the $6 price as well, but still nothing about ECB. I decided to get them anyway, since paying $1 oop for each was still a great deal, even if the ECB did not print, which I was obviously hoping it would. :p Alas, they did not print, and that offer is not listed on my receipt under the week’s ECB offers. So, not sure what the deal is with that, but I’m just glad I still got the shampoos at a great price, regardless. 🙂

That’s so odd! Just curious, did you happen to already do the John Frieda deal earlier this month? If so, it’s the same deal that you can only do once in order to receive the Ecb’s.
No, I had not gotten it earlier this month. I had been on vacation and wasn’t able to do my couponing like I’d hoped I would. I did get the June ECB deal, but this was my first Frieda-shopping for July. 🙁
It appears that CVS has now stated that “the weekly sale supersedes and invalidates the monthly deal” so this deal is no longer as good as before :(. If you purchased the items and the Ecb did not print for you, you may want to consider returning the items to your local CVS store. Sorry for the confusion! 🙁
Well, that’s a bummer, but at least they’ve said something about it. I’m happy with mine.. they were still a good price. 🙂 And they were “30% more” bottles, not 20% — just wanted to clarify in case anyone else found them.
No ECB Edy’s, Haagen-Dazs or Nestle Drumsticks or Eskimo Pie or Fruit Bars 3 for $10 – limit of 1. I purchased 3 boxes of the Edy’s fruit bars and I did not get the $3 in ECB. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem of if they were successful?

I don’t know if this has been said before, so sorry if it has or has already been pointed out. I did the John Frieda deal the first week of the month I believe, but I bought the Root Awakening. Sadly, it is not included in the deal, but would have been great if it was because they were only $4.99 each. I only paid about $10 for 5 bottles and a few other things when all was said and done (got some free Livesavers Gummies and Starburst, so that made me happy) so I was a happy camper anyway. It’s my favorite shampoo anyhow 🙂
CVS today. Mitchum Deodorant normally 4.99 a stick, on sale for 1.99, .75 coupon off each. Got 15 sticks – $1.24 ea. Also got $5.00 off $25.00 purchase when I scanned my card. So paid .90 per stick of deodorant, and also got back a $10 ECB at the end that can be redeemed for gas card.
15 sticks of Mitchum, $3.63 out of pocket before tax!

i went to cvs like two weeks ago and got the Head and Shoulder shampo
used the bogo coupon and the $1 off coupon it was ok
when my sister did the same transaction the register beep it did not take the $1 off
QUESTION: did the cashier had to ring the BOGO firt or the $1OFF ??? or ????
Along those lines could you use 2 coupons from the coupon machine, like 2-75 cents off the red vines?
I just got back from cvs…the mens dove soap 2pk was $4.29 BOGO and I had a $4.00 off 1 pk coupon, so $.29 for 4 bars. My 2nd deal was the pantene 2/$6.97 – the $3 off 2 coupon plus when I scanned my card it gave me a coupon for $2 off of 2, so I paid $1.97 and got $2 back.
The coupon machine had a $4 off a $20 purchase, so I did the Garnier deal (bought 5) and the Xtra deal (bought 4). Total before coupons was $22.63. I used 5 $1/1 Garnier and 2 $1/2 Xtra and the $4/$20 purchase and paid $13.04 with tax and got $5 ECB back making it $8.04 for all 9 items!
