When I went today a local Target in Alexandria, VA, they were cleaned out of the Bic 50cent pens and there was a sign that it was a seasonal item and no rainchecks. I did get the Papermate pens to use with the $1 Target coupon but they were $1.19. I’ll have to check again but the only Scotch Magic Transparent tape that I saw on sale there cost $1.69. The prices at Target in the DC area are higher it seems than those in a lot of other areas in the country.

    • Carol_R

I’m very grateful though that you do these match-ups. I’ve saved so much money using them.

    • Patricia

it was in the school supply area in my target. way in the back where the seasonal stuff is.

    • paulemay

The tape is in the weekly ad so unless they were sold out it should be back in the school supplies.

  2. Elise

Do you think the Kashi deal included frozen/pizza items? My ad just shows the cookies, cereal and crackers. Unsure if the $.75 coupon for frozen item will work. Has anyone tried this deal? Thanks 🙂

    • Collin

Yes, they are included in the sale (just not advertised in the weekly ad). 🙂

      • Elise

        Awesome! Thanks!

  3. Sue

My hair and my pocket book will love you soon. Wow thanks for the ideas on how to save at target. No more gray ok very little LOL. Thanks love this site

    • Collin

      You are most welcome! 🙂

  4. jbaum

I was at my local Target today and they had Sharpie highlighters for 50 cents. My cashier let me use my $1 off Sharpie coupons for those. Yeah for free highlighters! =)

    • Kelly G.

They shouldn’t have. The coupon specifically states “Sharpie Permanent Marker item”, and highlighters are not considered permanent markers.

      • rebecacha

Maybe the cashier knows something that you dont? 😉

  5. Ellie

My Target had 3 full racks of jeans for $4.98…women’s and juniors.

    • Lola

There were no women jeans or baby jeans on sale at mine. I was so disappointed. My Target is getting harder to coupon at. Lots of the deals my Target doesn’t do. I went and asked them and they said we can choose to do them and we choose not to. Grrr!

    • trailmama

mine too! (madison wi) scored some nice jeans for around $3 (w tax)!!!!

    • Toni

Here in MI too. Plus in babies there are $2.50 jeans – so only 50 cents =} after the target coupon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Don’t forget to use the $3.00 off coupon for your jeans.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Omgosh wow

  7. Cindy

I got my 18 month old a pair of jeans for $2.00. Can’t beat that. Thanks for all of your help.

  8. Mindy

Question…the Kashi frozen food coupon says “limit one per customer per visit”. Has anyone had a problem using more than one in one transaction?

    • Colton

It all depends on the cashier, I have never had any problem with it. 🙂

    • Melissa

It will more than likely go through, but its on your conscience if you want to go against the wording on the coupon 😉

  9. sally

Sadly, my Target ad ( Dallas, TX) shows Magic Tape $0.60 and Bic Cristal Ballpoint Pens 10 ct $0.60. Not free but cheap.

    • Brittani

Glad to hear someone else has this same problem. I was there today and bought both of them. Now that I am looking at the matchup it had me wondering. Good to know I am not crazy!

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went last night by accident to buy Smart Choice dinners and found leftovers from summer clearance marked at 75%. I got a few items and was pleased. I went this am to another Target to get school supplies and right next door I saw them put the 75% on summer items. I got a 6 speed blender for $4 and a ice cream maker for $6 plus lots of other items. My total savings was $146 and I spent about $30. I got paper plates, napkins, glasses, bowls, salad set, lunch kits, picnic cady, picnic basket, canisters, serving trays, ice cream mixes, toys, sand buckets, water toys, and school supplies. I was able to use some Target coupons on the paper products so got them for free. Great shopping trip!!!

  11. Lauren

Got ALOT of great stuff this week! Jeans for $1.98, free papermate pens, free scotch tape, jeans for my 9 month old for $2, found some clearance 4ct tumblers (cups) for .49! No sharpies though :/ both of my local stores were out. Thanks Collin!

  12. kiesha r.

hey collin i would love to see the target matchups highlighted in red, the deals you like best. I notice that you do the other stores and it is very helpful and great but i would love to see targets as well and thanks again for all.

    • Amanda

She only lists the Target deals that she thinks are the best thats why she doesn’t highlight in red because they are all good!

  13. Bonoca

I got the 20 free digital photos from the coupon last week. All the Target coupons I printed did not show an expiration date. The cashier was nice and took it anyway. Did anyone else have that problem?

I also purchased dental floss, Metamucil cinnamon spice fiber wafers and kids’ sidewalk chalk. With coupons, I only spent 34 cents! Target has great deals….thanks for posting them Collin 🙂 Love your blog and all you do!!

  14. rebecacha

The Unilever website never works for me even after I log in. It always show only one coupon or two, but not the one mentioned (Lipton recipes). Does anyone have the same problem? 🙁

    • Kbpapa

Same here! Only coupon Unilever offered me was for Lever 2000. What a bummer!

    • Abby

Same here…no coupon for Lipton. Only for Lever 2000

  15. April

Just a heads up … if you have a Publix close by that accepts Target coupons you can possibly get a great deal on the Papermate pens. At my local Publix (in Naples, FL), I found the 10 ct. packs of Papermate pens marked at .50, so I got four packs for free! I don’t know if this is an advertised deal (only glanced at the flier quickly), but definitely one to check out if you still have your Papermate coupons. Good luck!

    • DP

I did that too, and got .50 overeage.

  16. charlotte

Went to get the coupon for the lipton soup mix and the only coupon they were offering was uniliver soap. What happened??

  17. Susan

I was able to get the Sunbeam blender with glass canister for $3.99 Saturday at Target:)

    • hailey

      Darn mine was 5.99 🙁

    • kim

      Mine was $9.99. 🙁

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Our Target had their Lunchables on sale!! I got 2 Lunchables with fruit for $1.38! I had a Target $1/2 and a manufacturer $1/2!! I was also nervous that our Target would be completely out of Bic and Papermate pens, but luckily the containers of both pens were overflowing and I got 30 pens for free!! 🙂

  19. couponmom31

I’m not seeing the Cottonelle Wipes coupon on the Target site anymore, is it gone?

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a problem with printing out the iron girl target coupon? did anyone had this issue too?

  21. Stephanie

I got a sample of some Pullup wipes a couple of weeks ago and received coupon with the sample for $2.00. I went to Target and the Cars wipes dispenser was $2.19 and with the $2.00 coupon it came to $0.19. AWESOME! Also my Target had Orbitz gum marked down for $0.68 and I had a coupon for $1.00 off two packs…my total for the gum came to $0.18 a pack!

    Awesome deals!

  22. lisa

I went to Target today. I got several good deals, pillows, pens, tape, and a pair of jeans. I did hit a snafu with the Kashi. I bought 5 boxes. I had 1 Target coupon and 2 $2. coupons from recycle bank. I got one last week and one this week. Well the cashier would not let me use both manufacturer coupons. She said it is one per transaction. She said I could only use 1 of any manu. coupon per transaction. I didn’t feel like arguing, so I took my coupon back. It was still a good deal for Kashi cereal. I tried to explain the difference between a purchase and a transaction. Some times it’s not worth the aggravation for the savings. Arguing will ruin my mood for hours.

  23. leigh

they wouldn’t let me use the 1.00 off sharpie on the highlighters;)

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This matchup just made me realize that I haven’t gotten my All You mag yet….anyone else not get theirs yet??

    • rebecacha

I just got mine, hope you get your soon! 🙂

  25. downingmama

So I left Target today and walked out with a gift card with $8.oo in credit. Has anyone else ever had that happen? I have never gotten a credit at Target before!

  26. Mo

Does anyone have any good match-ups for the Target Reach coupons?

  27. Jo-Ann

Bic crystal pens, on sale for 50 cents each–bought 4, used $1/2 Target q, plus $1/2 mfr. q so 4 free; Papermate pen pack on sale for $1.17, used $1 off q; bought Scotch tape for 50 cents (these were in neon pink and green dispensers in the Back to School cardboard bins), used Target 50 cent q — these will be donated to my children’s school offices this fall. Also summer clearance of dishes, sports bottles, etc. was 75% off. Thanks, Collin! 🙂

  28. Juls

I am very new to couponing (8 weeks new) and have followed your site to learn how to coupon the correct way. About 3 months ago, I was given my lay off notice (never a great thing to recieve). Needless to say, that lay off notice help me take a up close and personal look at my spending habits and may a life change. I have been very excited to be able to purchase the things that I need for my family that is until today. I went to target to purchase a few of the deals that you posted. I was greated warmly by the check out clerk but to my surprise the check out clerk was spoken to by the manager in a stern voice. I could not believe that she was upset by the amount of people purchasing items with coupons. She walk through the check out lines and made it very clear to the clerks that they may only take three of the same type of manufacture coupons. Well, I was so embarrassed when I told the clerk that I had 4 like coupons for $1.50 off Milo dog treats (2/$5) which would of made my dog treats 4/$4. A great deal for me who has four dogs and little money. Anyhow, I was not trying to break any coupon rules, but…I don’t think there is a need for the manager to make me or anyone feel unwelcome in my favorite store. What can I do? Any advice????

    • Tracy

I recommend looking at/and printing out Target’s coupon policy and have a copy handy with you when you go to the store. That way if you know you aren’t breaking the policy you and have back up when that happens. We have a copy of the coupon policy of each store we go to and have it in our binder when we go. It have saved us a few headaches and possibly ugly situations! I hope I helped!

  29. maureen

Anyone else not finding the $2 off 2 Dove Deodorant?
Also, my 6/26 SS had a coupon for a free bottle of V8Fusion+Tea wyb 2 V8 Fusion – making it an even sweeter deal!

  30. megan

has anyone had the 75% off toy clearance yet?

  31. Jana

I did the V8 deal you described. But, I also used a coupon that is for a free v8 plus tea if you buy 2 v8 fusions. They let me do this. Is this normall allowed?

so, I got each v8 for 66 cents

  32. elana k

Anyone else have trouble using the Kashi $0.75/1 frozen entree printable coupon? I used one today (not at Target) to buy a frozen entree. The coupon wouldn’t scan and the manager was called over. He informed me that the coupon didn’t have a barcode (the smaller one on the bottom left of most coupons), that they would accept it “this time” but essentially that it was not a valid coupon. I have three more of these I really want to use, but they all look the same. Anyone else have this issue?
