We fly often and Frontier Airlines is the best!! They have always been super accomodating to our kiddos too! Great company!

They are the airline based in Denver, Colorado. I have to use them when I fly to visit family, as I am originally from Wyoming and they are the main airline in the Rocky Mountain Region. Thank you so much for posting this, Collin!

we flew frontier from detroit to puerto vallarta mexico and they were great, nice comfy leather seats, and if you book through orbit you get free tv to watch there and back, no complaints at all with this airline

I have had good experiences with Frontier. The TVs on the back of each seat enable you to watch the movie or Direct TV programming of your choice. If you go to their website and apply for their credit card, you earn 25,000 miles–a free roundtrip flight in the US! I am using my free flight in a few months!

    • Vickie

Do you have to be approved fro the CC to get the miles?

      • amanda

Yes, and I believe there is a minimum spending requirement before the miles are awarded…$500 if I remember correctly. I got the card, used it exclusively for all of my purchases until the spending requirement was met, and then I will cancel it after my trip.

        • Naimbe

It’s really bad for your credit to continuously open and close credit cards. You should have a few cards that you have consistently and for a long time. If you’re just looking for a free flight, it’s not worth the harm to your credit score.

Just looked into this. For the 25,000 miles you have to get the card with a $69 annual fee and spend $500 on the card. You can also get a no-annual-fee card and get 5,000 free miles when you spend $250.

Thanks for the info. Frontier is our favorite airline. We are leaving for Vegas tomorrow, but this time we are using Delta for the first time ($200 cheaper than Frontier) Anyone had experience with Delta?

      • Diane

I usually love to fly, but we flew to Hawaii on Delta a few months ago to visit my son, and it was not a pleasant trip. The seats were very cramped and uncomfortable. It was very hot on one flight, and then very cold on another. We plan to use a different airline next time, even if it is a bit more expensive.

I cant get to the site. It wont let me..Help.:(

Frontier is a really nice affordable airline. I would reccommend them to anyone. This is a good deal and one that I plan to take advantage of as we are planning to fly to Las Vegas soon and plan on flying Frontier.

Go through ebates to get 3% cash back or if you are new to ebates get a $10 gift card with your first $25 purchase

Bah! We just bought Christmas tickets on Sunday! We’ve always flown Midwest, and somehow they’re merged with Frontier now. Don’t know if anything has changed. Hope they still serve hot chocolate chip cookies in flight.

  9. beedee

I would recommend Frontier. I flew Midwest whenever I would go on a trip and was very happy with them. They have merged. A ‘huge’ concern was the chocolate chip cookies and the news verified soon after that they would indeed still serve the cookies. 🙂

I love Frontier for many reasons including a very sweet lady that helped my husband when he had to change his flight 3 times when his step dad died and he had to take care of everything. They are always great with us. I am excited about this deal. We often fly from Nashville to Denver to visit family. I also wanted to say that I have a Frontier Credit Card and I don’t have an annual fee and it is the lowest interest rate for me. They are also great when it comes to getting your mile. I used them last year with no problem.
