UPDATE: I just got an email from reader, Kelly, regarding this Walgreens deal. Please note that she lives in Arizona and this deal does appear to be regional as my area did not get this ad.

Hi Collin! They are pictured in the Back to School section of the ad at my Walgreen’s. It says Uniball pens #207 on sale for 99 cents. I found the pens in the office supply part of the store and they were not marked on sale. I asked an associate to check and they rang up 99 cents!

It takes a while to get your codes, but they do come. I ended up winning a Knru Toga Mechanical Pencil also and of course I got my coupons, now checking my Walgreen’s to see if they are on sale.

Just to let everyone know who maybe didn’t get this ad this week, Walgreens is going to be running their big back to school ad in every store. (As an employee), corporate decided to run it based on when each area’s school year begins. Each week, a different region will get the back to school blowout ad. I live in Indiana, and we got it this week because everyone goes back to school in 2 1/2 weeks. So if you didn’t get it this week, don’t be discouraged – it will hit your region soon!

I forget the exact dates for the sales… You are not going to find it posted on any website, because it is not available to view to employees until the ads are dropped off for the week. People are able to see advance ads because people post information that is usually only available to view by mgmt… In this case, I only know that this promo ad will run once during back to school season for each region.
And I have noticed that the preview ads I have looked at on websites, can be VASTLY different than the actual printed ads I receive at my home store….
