Okay so are you only allowed to use four like P&G coupons per transaction or four P&G coupons total per transaction?
I’ve never had a 5th or more coupon not scan, so I believe that applies if you cashier looks at. The registers don’t seem to beep or anything if I have more than 4. (I know I’m getting ugly looks b/c I use more than 4 but I only shop once a month so I have to get it all in at once)

At Walmart last night their system would not except a fifth P&G coupon for Tide or Cascade. It said I already used four of the same coupon. It was the system not my cashier. She just manually accepted them.
Collin… you do know that they have the same style as your old coupon bag still available at target… right? I’ve seen the same color and style bag at my target for 29.99… I know it’s not on sale or anything… but it’s the same exact one 🙂

Collin, if you want the same bag as you had before, you can have mine! I bought it because I loved yours and I got it on sale for 50% off. I loved using it, but found it to be a little heavy and it didn’t fit well in all the shopping carts when I needed to bring my kids too. So, since starting to sell 31 as an independent consultant, I fell in love with the Cindy Tote. I thought it was a lot for a bag, so I was hesitant. But, once I tried it, I fell in love big time. It is so light and my binder fits in it like a glove and it has a couple of outside pockets where I can fit my phone and coupons I’m using, etc. It also has a lobster claw where I attach my key chain with all my loyalty cards on it. My point…. there is no going back for me. I love the old bag, but I just don’t see myself using it again, so it is just sitting in my closet lonely looking for someone to love it and fill it with a coupon binder! If you want it, I can ship it to you! 🙂 Or, if you’d rather take a chance on a fabulous Cindy Tote, let me know and I can work a good deal for you – I know a lot of readers are 31 consultants though, so I’m sure you probably already have one!!

Buy 2 square box tissues with vicks logo 2/$3.00 get them for free with coupon. If Target is a competitor also use 2 (.50/1) and use overage on other items.. 😀 I was psyched. 😀

There was also an olay coupon in the paper today to save a dollar off 2 olay body wash, bar soap, etc. Therefore u can get 2 olay travel size body washes for .94 🙂
If I do the Febreze deal, can I use my $5 gift card for the transaction. I know my cashier hands over the gift card before I hand over all my coupons and such so could I theoretically use it on the one transaction?
No, you can only use it on your next transaction, not the one you earned it on. HTH!

I had a nice cashier try it for me once when i first started couponing…the system will not allow it, so even if your cashier would…the computer won’t accept it. Just FYI.

I did the Febreze deal and they actually took 3.00 off instead of 2.50 off, I even said something to them about it and she didn’t seem to care. The only problem I had was with the Cascade trial packs on sale for .97 cents and it wouldn’t accept my coupons so they had to do a price adjustment at guest services.
After I made my purchase at Target today, I got a coupon for a free 8X8 photo book from Shutterfly!

Had the worst couponing experience at Target. Tried using the Tide coupon from the P&G for the travel size. The cashier was uspet from the moment I took out coupons and needless to say she did not like the idea of giving me a free product she called her supervisor and kept repeating loud enough for everyone around to hear her saying that I was trying to use a gimmick to get the product free and there was no way I should be able to get away with it. While the supervisor tried to figure out what to do about that coupon cashier proceeded to the next coupon and since it beeped she accused me of not buying the item. I took out the item and showed it to her (vaseline lotion) she threw it back on counter and said it wasn’t a lotion. I asked her to look at it again and she very reluctantly agreeded it was a lotion. I said to her that I understood her need to confirm that the correct product was purchased but I didn’t like the fact that if it hadn’t been for me asking her to actually look at the product she wouldn’t have done so and refused the coupon. She didn’t like me saying that and she said she didn’t want to deal with me and took off!!! Her supervisor was still there and was very appologetic and both her and the store manager came to the conclusion that the coupon could infact be used for the travel size Tide. However it was extremly embarassing having a cashier treat you so bad and even walk away in the middle of a transaction just because you use coupons and fortuneatly are getting something free! Just an FYI, it wasn’t like I was walking away without paying anything, my total came out to over $30. I got the impression that once again it is those extreme couponers giving us a bad name and cashiers on the look out for anyone using coupons.
You should call corporate and complain about that cashier!! That is HORRIBLE customer service for her to treat you like that and using coupons isn’t a crime, it’s part of her JOB!!! She has no right to embarrass you for using coupons. You are actually doing her a favor by shopping in that store because your transaction earns her points from what I understand!!!
Reminds me of Walmart. I almost refuse to go to Walmart… I literally have to be dragged in there will all my resorts exhausted including Dollar stores and corner markets…lol. They cashier seem so miserable and unfriendly and a few travel six coupons and they snap… I couldnt imagine trying to ad match…and this is coming from someone wh

i had that happened to me, i actually hate to go to target now and use coupons. last time i was there the cashier called every supervisor and manager to approve the $1 off for tide sample. my register had a huge line and i could tell everyone was mad, and he just didnt wan to approve the coupon. i saw the sales and the nivea body wash is a good deal with the $2 dollars off coupon but im so scared n embarassed to go.
So sorry you had that experience at Target!! I do pretty much all my shopping there (including groceries) and our cashiers are always just fine about coupons…I would definitely complain though..I actually used to work at Target corporate and I can guarantee they would not be happy to hear about what happened to you!!
OhMyGosh!!! I know what you mean. I rarely get out of Target for under $50, even with my many coupons. Still, customers behind me sometimes seem irritated by my coupons. I definitely think those extreme couponers give us a bad name. Aside from from those who donate their items, all they are are organized hoarders, in my opinion.

The cheesy skillets is actually a target mobile coupon. You can sign up on the website and then they send it to your cell phone!
Nothing left, no freebze warmer, no tide, no cascade . nothing was travel size at my target. So sad 🙁
I was wondering if anyone had trouble at there target with this fabreeze deal? I went in to my Target today, and tried to purchase three Noticeable warmers, one set and refresh and one Air Effects spray, it prompted her to give me the five dollar GC, and it took my three 3/1 coupons for the notceables, but I did not get the overage as the last one only took off 1.50, and I am fine with that, but it would not take my set and refresh coupon, or my Air effects coupon, it kept telling the cashier to give coupon back to customer, she looked at the products and could see that they were in fact valid coupons for my purchase, but said there was nothing she could do, and was rude and annoyed on top of it!! Am I missing something?? Did anyone else have this issue? Lately Target has been refusing a lot of my coupons for valid purchases and its annoying me, especially since I spend a pretty penny there each time I go!!!
I tried the Febreeze deal but I bought a Febreeze Noticeables on clearance and 4 of the Air Effects. I was told I would not get the gift card because one item was on clearance. I went to customer service and they were able to void it and let me go back and get another Air Effects and that immediately triggered the gift card. They were very polite about it. (I kept the Febreeze Noticeables because it was only 1.98 and I used my $3 coupon for it.)
I think it has something to do with your total purchase…did you buy anything else? If your total purchase isn’t over $5 (since you got a $5 giftcard) the computer adjusts down remaining coupons…something along those lines…I’ve read it on a post somewhere on Collins sight before.
I had the exact same items and had the same problem. The cashier also said that there was nothing she could do about it. I didn’t bother buying any since it’s not something I needed.
I thinks it’s been called “the gift card glitch” on Totally Target, who by the way, does an excellent job of explaining this confusing problem and how to get around it.
I was able to snatch up some of the Febreze bargains yesterday, however the shelf was completely wiped out! The items I found matched the sales flyer, however the computer system did not automatically issue my $5 store gift card. They were super polite about it and instead handed me $5 in cash. Just a reminder to speak up when you’re certain you followed the deal guidelines!!
Has anyone tried the Renuzit deal? I wanted to use the coupon with the adjustables but my fear is they will not take it because the Adjustable says Super Odor Killer but the Coupon says it is good for the Super Odor Neutralizer.
Thanks for all that you do, Collin. You are, in my eyes, the most reliable coupon blogger out there. That’s probably why you got to partner with Today. I just came back from my first Target trip and it was far from pleasant. The GM refused to take my Cascade coupons and then gave me a hard time over the Febreeze deal. She was so rude that at one point she threw a temper tantrum and rammed a cart/buggie into a row of other ones. I think I’m just going to stick to my drug stores and supermarket for now if this what it’s going to be like at Target. Thought I’d share that with you and your readers.
I was at target and had to go back into the store because one of my Target store coupons did not come off my bill. The customer service manager said they are “cracking down on coupons.” I bought the correct item and the coupon didn’t come off and that’s what they call “cracking down”???????

FYI- if you have not used your $3 off Huggies slip on coupons- target has a $2 off huggies slip on Q that can be stacked- plus if you have them price match walmarts ad for this week: 8.97-2 TQ-3 MQ=$3.97+tax/package- Note that there are not many diapers per package..
I got the Swiffer Sweeper kit for $5.99 (after coupons) plus used the P&G coupon found in the Home made simple booklet for the free refills when you purchase a starter kit. Sweet deal! I am going back today to grab a few of the Zatarains. I found two coupons last night $1/2 ( I think it was in this weeks SS). Great deals! Thanks Collin!
I went to target today and had the worst experience ever couponing! They would not accept my cascade coupons, visine coupons, or the 2.00 target coupon for kids denim jeans. They told me that I could not get the items for free and that I could not use coupons on clearance cothing! They also told me that I could not use coupons on bonus packs. I looked at there coupon policy and it did not state anything of the sort. I called coporate and she told me she could give me a reference number and I could bring it to them and have them call corporate!!!! Yeah right after I had four employees telling me off in front of a line full of people! It was terrible!
