Tammy says:
mine is not showing the free shipping — any suggestions?
Collin says:
Hi Tammy,
Be sure to choose one of the votives or tarts that shows free standard shipping on Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I chose Apple Cider…yum!
Hope that helps!
Meg says:
free shipping….WHERE??
Tammy says:
some of the votives state free shipping under them — you need to choose one of them
joanne says:
It’s not free. They’re saying once you buy it for $1.49 you’ll get $1.49 back in you shopahome account. It’s similar to register rewards at walgreens. Too good to be true of course.
theresa says:
Sooooo that makes it free =)
joanne says:
that doens’t make it free at all. you got to get up to $20 to get a check in the first place. So that means you’re probably going to end up buying something. It’s not a scam…. it’s just not worth it.
mycatbutters says:
I don’t understand your comment about too good to be true. Are you saying Shop At Home is a scam?
Nikki says:
It’s not at all similar to RR at walgreens. Shopathome will mail you an actual check. I’ve gotten several checks from them over the past 2 years.
Lisa says:
They are mailing a check for my cash back rewards.
Jen says:
Shop at home is a totally legit company. I have ALWAYS received my checks from them. Most (intelligent) people who shop online use either Ebates or Shopathome before they make their purchases which in turn makes their purchases an even better deal.
honest says:
its only free if you will/have spent $20 through shop at home. sorry but too much work for a little candle
jodi says:
i think this is for folks that use shopathome most of us hip2savers do. so great deal and more than worth it if you use shopathome
Tammy says:
I just realized that — took me a minute — thanks
I got the pumpkin pie spice!!!! It will probably make me want to cook!!
Deanna says:
I love these little freebies!! Thanks Collin.
Amanda says:
Thanks! I just grabbed a “Pumpkin Pie” votive – perfect for fall!
Jamie says:
Yeah! Thank you. I got a pumpkin pie votive
Bridget says:
Thanks, grabbed the pumpkin pie
, Im just about at my 20.00 mark now
Alicia says:
Awesome! Thanks Colin! I got the Pumpkin Pie. This will go towards my Mother-in-law’s xmas gift basket
Mamaoftwins says:
Got the pumpkin pie votive too! My favorite. I love pumpkins
Danielle says:
Chose the Apple Spice tart, thought it would make a nice little addition to a Christmas present.
mycatbutters says:
Do you think the tarts would ship well? Our average temp is about 105 and it would have to sit in the mailbox until I got home.
Savannah says:
None of the scents I wanted included free shipping
Oh well, on to the next deal!
anon says:
My total was $1.59 with tax. Did you all get charged for tax?
Yolanda says:
mine was $1.61 with tax!
Leigh says:
Mine was $1.59 with tax. So, after you receive your money back from Shop at Home you are only paying the tax. It’s kind of like a coupon for a free item. you still have to pay tax on that item. There are only 3 free scents: Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie and Farmers Market.
anon says:
Thanks Leigh !!
Kim says:
I love when these WILD deals come with free shipping!!! I got the Farmers Market votive!
Nel says:
I just signed up for shop at home. wondering how long it will take to hit $20 with the wild deals… we’ll see how it goes. I grabbed a pumpkin pie votive
Av8r says:
This is my first time using this, so I am a little confused. As long as I use the link through shopathome to by the candle then the 1.49 will be credited back to me and then they will send me a check? Thanks for anyone who can clear this up for me…
Kiki says:
I have never used shopathome. Is there any sort of join up incentive I wonder? I know so many of those sites offer a credit or something for joining. If anyone knows let me know. Also, it looks like if I give someones email as a referral they get some credit so if someone wants to give me their email I will happily put it in there.
Tammy says:
Kiki: I have used this site for a while now and I love it. I use it more often since Collin posts these free after reward deals. My email is lv2shppe@gmail.com. I normally use it when buying college textbooks each semester when my kids go back to school. It is not a lot, but I tend to think of it as “found money” since I would be purchasing these specific items anyway. You do have to have $20.00 in your account before they send you a check. Thanks.
Collin: My transaction went through without a hitch. Thank You!
Lisa @ Drugstore Divas says:
There’s no incentive, like how eBates [[which I'm obsessed with]] gives you $5 in your account for a new member. I’ve never seen this with Shop At Home [[someone correct me if you've seen an incentive]]. The real incentive is that if you shop through this site, you get a % back, and when you hit $20, you’ll get a check mailed to you.
My email is drugstoredivalisa(at)gmail.com. Feel free to use it to sign up [[I'm only including because you asked, please don't feel obligated to use it]].
OiOi says:
Hi Kiki,
yes there is an incentive for you – if you sign up through a tell-a-friend link and make a qualified purchase within 60 days you’ll get $5.00 and your friend gets $5.00, if you sign up and use a friend’s email address on the join page then only your friend will get $5.00 (not you)
I think if you sign up through Collin’s link – that that is a tell-a-friend link?
Su says:
I have just purchased a candle. I did it on a new window of Bed and Bath Beyond, not on the ShopAtHome site. (When a message came up to make Bed and Bath Beyond account, I just ignored and purchased it without account.) Is this all right? Of course I went into the Bed and Bath Beyond site through the link on the ShopAtHome after making my own ShopAtHome account. So will the credit show up on my account even if I bought the candle through the Bed and Bath site? Could someone help me?
Amber says:
They’re out of stock on all three scents
so this deal is not valid any more
trailmama says:
just got the pumpkin spice tart…looks like the tarts are still available but candles are gone
mke250 says:
Am I the only one who has to contact shopathome customer service after every single Wild Deal? They always give me the store’s percentage off rather than the full amount. After I email them, they fix it. But every single time?
gotta_homeschool says:
I’m wondering about this as well. I’ve never used shopathome before, but I just checked my account from the candle, and they have .40 pending?? I don’t understand why it’s not 1.49.
mke250 says:
Wow…I only got 4 cents
) You’ll have to use their “contact us” form, and copy and paste your order #, order date, and tracking number. Sort of a pain for 1.49, but it’s the principle of it. If you offer a deal, honor it….and correctly!
gotta_homeschool says:
Heh, yeah, upon closer inspection it was only 4 cents!! I wrote to them, how long do you typically wait to get a response?? (From an actual person, not the automated response I already got.)
mke250 says:
When one of their CSRs put her email on hip2save regarding another deal, and I wrote directly to her, she responded right away. When I use the online form, it can be days.
ryan says:
i am having the same problem and have not gotten an email back…and can not find the crs email on another post if you have it can you share it please
Melissa says:
I just sent them a message because I too only got $.04 back for the candle. I didn’t receive the right amount when the WILD deal was for the Suave Shampoo. I emailed them through their site and they fixed it within a couple days. Hopefully they can figure this out so we don’t have to keep going through this.
mke250 says:
I emailed them 4 days ago and have still heard nothing. The very kind and patient CSR who helped me in the past was Annette, at cs7@shopathome.com. I hated to bug every time, but might have to resort to it if I don’t hear anything back after using the online contact form. I must say that I’m not sure I’ll try the wild deals again. Too much trouble to get the money back!
Jennifer S says:
Oh man so I’m not the only one who got $0.04 boo! I will email them too. Thanks everyone I wasn’t sure what to do.
Christina says:
I only have $.04 cash back pending as well. I hope this doesn’t happen every time. I have emailed them. Thanks for the help.
