I’ll never pay for Tide. I’ve been getting all the free travel sizes for several years now and that’s fine with me.
We’ve still got stockpiled laundry items from 2 yrs ago- Q’s really makes a difference!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how are you gettig travel size for free

      • Mindy

At every Target and WM I go to, using my $1. Q’s.
Same with tpaste, dishwasher det.Gotta love it.

      • Serissa

With the coupons from the P&G and free samples they offer every now and then. So chances are you had to buy the paper the coupons come in but still its free.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

use $1/1 coupon from 7/31 P&G which expires tomorrow 8/31

    • tara

I’m with Gil! We won’t need any for about 2 years also!

    • salma686

how are you getting trial size of tide free???? please let me know – have 4 kids and always washing!!!!

      • Toni

You use the $1.00 Tide coupons from the P&G inserts each month (note: some months they aren’t $1.00 & other months exclude trial) and purchase the Tide 1 load packet, located in the travel section. I only have 10 but its a good start 😉

      • SYLVIA

SAME HERE.. LET US KNOW PLEASE!!!

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I will never buy powder detergent I perfer liquid (:

  3. Michelle M

Why not buy 5 of the Tide Powder, and use 5 $2 coupons? That would make your total $1 lower. But perhaps most people don’t have 5 of that coupon. I know I only have TWO- ha ha.

    • Melissa

You are supposed to purchase only 4 because of the coupon limitation for 4 like coupons per transaction. Otherwise, that would be a better deal!

      • Michelle M

Oh I forgot about that! Thanks!

  4. cassie

Has anyone used the powder version? I’ve always been a liquid girl but I wondered if the powder works just as well?

    • vicki

i use the powder and have had no problems. i have a he frontloader if that matters.
my mom always used powder in our old washer when i was a kid without any complaints.

(sometimes if i’m worried about it not dissolving, i have mixed it with warm water to somewhat dissolve it first before adding to the machine but i dont do that now with the HE’s soap dispenser cause it does it for me. it was more of a concern when my mom used to sprinkle it on top of the clothes rather than into the water before clothes like i think you’re supposed to.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve use powder in the past but since last yr after seeing them on the clothes I don’t wanna use it anymore…liquid is way better. My family would always get powder over liquid in the past b/c they have more loads & price was alright even though we didn’t we use coupons

    • ketsy

The problem with powder is you have to put it in the machine before and let it swish it around unless you have an industrial machine 😀 I like to throw everything in there and go so doesn’t work for me. Also if you tend to overload your machine (like jeans) you may end up with jeans with powder on them lol .As far as washing I think it does a better job and smells better.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe because there is a limit of 4 like coupons.

  6. cecilia

I just got 4 Clairol nice and easy $6 each + 1 pantene Shampoo
Used 1 $5 on 2, 2 $2 on 1 fot the hair color and the free pantene coupon (covered $4,99 ) that i recently got on the mail and ended up paying 12 out of pocket (had 5RR in my wallet) and got 10 RR!!!!!! Not bad! thanks Collin!!!!!

  7. Liz

Does anyone know if the Crest RR deal on pg. 10 of the ad conflicts with the $10 RR for $30 in P&G products? The Crest Complete and Glide floss is 2/$5 and you get a $3 RR. The back page of the ad with the P&G offer shows a two pack of Crest for $6. I’d like to get the $3 RR first, and use it towards my $30 purchase. Is that possible, or do they consider that rolling the RR’s?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

they are both P&G products, if you use the RR from the first to pay for the 2nd, the $10 RR will not print. Use the RR from carmex or Estroven instead!

    • ketsy

I bought these together in the first transaction and got both RRs to print. I also bought more toothpaste in another transaction and used the 10rr PG and still got 3RR. I guess that must be a regional thing.

      • Liz

Thanks! Headed there tonight so I guess I’ll see what happens

  8. Zakiyah

I have a great scenario also if you like Gain, I don’t care for it but my MIL does

My scenario: (4) Gain detergent $5 each
    (1) Bounce dryer bars $4 eac
    (1) Pantene product $6
    4 mechanical pencils 10pk (filler items) .47
    Total: 31.88 + tax

going to use (4) $2 off Gain qs; (1) $2.50 bounce q, from Vocalpoint, and 1 free Pantene product q (Facebook), 10 RR from this week (Keri, and Kelloggs)Price after q’s/RR: $9.40 got back 10 RR LESS THAN $1 per item!!!!

    • Angie

I thought about the Gain too, but the coupons are only for powder, and when I looked on walgreens.com it looks like the powder is 40 load and the ad says the size limits are 24-32 load. So I’m thinking the powder isn’t included in the deal. Has anyone tried this yet?

    • Jen

I was also thinking of using the Free Pantene Q from Facebook, but it says max amount of $4.99 on the Q, so it doesn’t look like it will work on these larger bottles that are $6.

      • Zakiyah

Yeah , my bubble was burst when she I saw it was the big bottles on sale. But the cashier still used it, I paid 1.01 for the big bottle

  9. Hanna

I have the hardest time finding Tide or Gain powder HE at Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Dollar General. I am going to try to price match at Walmart, and hope they have some HE Powder.

    • Zakiyah

I saw plenty of powder at my Wags on my way to work today. There are even plenty of estrovens.

  10. cheryl

Packaging for powder is better for recycling.

  11. Kirstin

You can’t price match the post-register reward price at Wal-Mart.

  12. Sarah

Do you have to buy the larger bottle of pantene for it to count towards the sale? I tried to buy the smaller one priced at 4.99 and the RR didn’t print.

    • Emma

It has to be the larger ones that are on sale for $6.

      • Sarah

Thanks for responding so quick Emma! I was a little embarassed but I went back in and redid my transaction with the bigger bottle and it worked! Whew!

  13. De

My Hyvee never has HE Purex. I have a raincheck for $1.88 a bottle from their last big sale but of course they don’t have it just like the day I got the raincheck. Too bad walmart won’t price match a raincheck. I have coupons for All and whisk. I’m going to Ad-match @ walmart DG’s sale on them because my DG is almost guaranteed to not have what I need either. HE is great until you cant find it lol.

  14. ketsy

I had bought the wetjet last time P&G had a scenario at Walgreens and inside were high value refill coupons. This was my scenario:
    Wet jet liquid 5.29 – 2.50/1
    Wet jet refill pads 4.49 – 2.50/1
Tide stain release $4 * 3 =$12 – 3($2/1) cpn included in FB trial received by mail
    Gain $5 – $1/1
    Bounty $5.50 – $0.25/1
    Total before coupons: 32.28
    After coupons : 20.03 + 10 RR 😀
So really 10.03 for 7 items
($1.43 an item GREAT considering high value items I got plus I bought these in combination with other deals and previous RRs)

    • ketsy

Come to think of it I did great because I had $3 moneymaker from the Estroven this week and $3 moneymoker from Dove last week. So just $4.03 for all my 7 items after RR. WOW! This is great! Love this site ! So much fun to add it up… 😀

  15. Mary @ 4our2cents

I was holding on to 2 free Pantene Qs for a deal like this!

    3 OralB battery op toothbrushes-$18
    2 Pantene (large size)-$12
Used 3 $3 battery op toothbrushes
Used 2 Free Pantene (only took off $4.99 ea due to Q limit)
    Total OOP 11.02
After RR only $1.02 for all 5! yeah!

    • Michelle M

      AWESOME! Good work!

  16. Angie

I went last night and this is what I did…
    2 Oral B battery tb $6.00 ea
2 Oral B battery tb refills $6.00 ea
    1 Tide w/ febreze powder $6.00
    2 folders w/ prongs $.17 ea w/ ad q
    -(4) $3.00 Oral B
    -(1) $2.00 Tide powder
    -(1) $1.50 Carmex RR
    -(1) $2.00 Huggies RR
    Total $12.84
Got my $10 RR & then purchased a box of Estroven for Free. Now I have another $10 RR to roll into more P&G items.

  17. Holly

I went to buy some Tide, & Febreeze products. I was told that the total had to come to $30 AFTER coupons. Did anyone else run into this?

    • PattyAnn

That can’t be true. I did the Tide deal in IL. and picked up a ‘free’ Carmex and I still got the RR’s. My total after coupons was around $21.

    • nora

These deals are usually always before coupons. Did it twice at different stores with different products. Printed both times.

  18. PattyAnn

Did the Tide deal today! They also had Gain powder for $5 box. My (regular)Tide boxes said that they were $3 coupons inside! THANKS!

  19. holi

    My list was:

    4 tide powder boxes
2 tide stain release 10 tab pack

used 4 $2.00 tide cpns and 2 $2.00 stain release cpns.

    total before coupons 32.00
    minus 12.00
    = 20.00
    got 10.00 RR

so 1.66 for each item. Awesome for me, since I have been terrible at matchups for the last 6 months!
