    Reset for me! Thanks!!

  2. Lisa

Awesome, thanks! The only store I found these at was Walmart, and I was able to get 4 the other day. 🙂

  3. Jenny

Do these q’s beep at Walmart?

  4. Ashley

🙁 I get too much trouble at walmart trying to get these and they always say you are suppoesed to buy the spray. Oh well, I don’t want to get them in trouble over a little smelly cone 🙂

    • thewaka

Do you know about how much the spray is? I need to plan a shopping trip and I would prefer the spray for some uses. Thanks.

      • Ashley

hmmmm… I’m not sure, I think about $3.00 give or take some change 🙂

  5. la-la

The fine print says : coupon may not exceed value of item purchased.

You should know better than to promote coupon fraud on your website. This coupon is clearly intended for the sprays, that is why there are coupons that clearly state they are for the adjustables. Every person who uses this coupon on the cones instead of the sprays is using the coupon fraudulently, and the store is not going to be reimbursed.

    • Lisa

The coupon doesn’t say anything on it about sprays. You can choose not to use them if you wish. Be nice to Collin!

      • Kurt

I agree with Lisa! 🙂 Colin rocks!!

    • Ann

topchief1, I purchased these this week at Walmart, no problem. Q states “Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer”, Adjustables say “Super Odor Neutralizer”. This is not coupon fraud and Collin would never support coupon fraud. Shame on you!

      • topchief1

If you purchased the adjustable cones with a coupon that is coded specifically for a single item, in this case the spray bottle included on the coupon, which lists the item name, not just wording on the product, then you are issuing shame on the wrong person.

    • Ashley

collin is very proud *I’m sure* to say that she tries her absolute hardest to not commit coupon fraud and I guess by the wording you can use the coupon on the cones if the store permits. I personally don’t because it is very iffy and I just get trouble for it so I live with out the scented cones but if you want to more power to you, if you don’t you don’t. But either way you don’t need to be rude and so quick to judge someone who just tries to help total strangers out and probably improved A LOT of our living situations for the better and did you see the hip2help tour? She’s like a super skinny little blonde saint! 🙂 Have a nice night everyone 🙂

FYI Top: The Asst. Mgr. himself checked me out yesterday and the coupon went through. No beeping, nothing! Now here is a man TRAINED to spot a valid coupon from a fraudulent one. He didn’t call 911 on me…

On another note, please don’t be so harsh to judge. YOU always have a CHOICE: to use a coupon or not, depending on your principles and conscience. Just don’t be SERMONIZING at people that are just “putting the word out”. Collin REPORTS what she picks up and I betcha not one of the people that follows this site has ever gotten in trouble with a store over FRAUD!!!!

PLEASE HOLD YOUR TONGUE IN CHECK. THANK YOU!!!

      • topchief1

There is a reason that coupons are being updated, to prevent stuff like this from happening. Using the “It didn’t beep therefore it is legit’ argument won’t fly much longer. I have a copy of this particular coupon, and the coding on the coupon indicates it is for a specific item. If you use it on the adjustable cones, you are absolutely committing coupon fraud. If you continue to use it in a manner in which is it is not meant for, you do so knowing this information.

        • Kim

LOL then I hope the coupon you have also printed the large photo below it of the 4 Super Odor Neutralizer items that this coupon is good on… including a cone 😉

        • Collin

I completely disagree with you. We as consumers should not be responsible for decoding coupons… and I highly doubt the manufacturer’s would want us doing that either. I go by the wording listed on the coupon and the wording states that this coupon is valid on a Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer product. There are Renuzit “Super Odor Neutralizer” adjustables, so I see nothing wrong with using this coupon on this variety of adjustables. If the manufacturer didn’t want us to do so, they could have easily listed “spray” on the coupon.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

            Amen Sister!

          • topchief1

The coupon specifically states “when you buy one (1) Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer.” not on a Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer product. This is a coupon for a specific item.

You post many great deal that I’ve taken advantage of, and truly appreciate, but this particular case, it is NOT for the adjustables.

    • Kim

You should know better than to go on a blog and accuse the owner of coupon fraud when you’re unaware of how to correctly decipher coupons.

I tried to buy the cones at WM but the cashier said it doesn’t match the picture on coupon. She still tried it but it beeped so I didn’t get to use them (I had 4 coupons). However, I think it is a legit coupon for the cones because the first time I printed the coupon I was not near the printer and my ink was wasted when a picture came after the coupon (I hate when that happens).
There were 6 items or so in the pic, one being the neutralizer cone and one being the spray. I saved the pic to show at the checkout because I feared a problem, and is why the cashier scanned it. I will try again later.

  7. Tara

I tried to use this coupon the other night at Walgreen’s to get a free little cone and it wouldn’t accept it at all. No matter how many times he tried. 🙁

  8. Marcia

I used this coupon before when they were available, at Walmart and had no problems. The cashier read the coupon, looked at my product and put it through as it met the description on the coupon. I am excited to see it available again and plan on getting more cones at Walmart again. Thanks for the heads up of it resetting Collin.

  9. The Mom @ Babes in Hairland

I’ve found that just because a picture is on a coupon, it doesn’t necessarily mean that is the only item it covers – it can be anything under that brand and it may come in a spray, a candle, an oil, etc. etc. Just like a cereal coupon can have 1 box of cereal pictured but be good for a dozen kinds of cereal under that brand. That is why there is also text on the coupon that hopefully helps with the description. I think Collin was doing just that – showing other items that also fit the description of the item on the coupon. No coupon fraud here. Unfortunately sometimes coupons can be a bit vague, and then yes, it ends up being the store that gets to decide whether you buy it or not I guess so that can be frustrating for us. Thanks for all your hard work Collin.

This coupon did not work on the adjustables for me at Walgreens. The clerk could not get it to go through, so I did not buy the item.

  11. The Thrifty Military Wife

You can get the cones free + overage @ the Commissary as well.

  12. andrea

WM would not take this coupon on that little thing computer beeped and all oh well

  13. andrea

and for that matter they didnt work at wags either

  14. Daniel

This coupon did not work on the adjustables for me at Walgreens. The clerk could not get it to go through, so I did not buy the item.

  15. gatime

Maybe the reason why you all are having trouble with the coupon beeps is because your suppose to buy the spray.

  16. Michelle

The coupon says the coupon should not exceed value of item purchased. These coupons won’t work on the .97 adjustables, but there some priced for over a dollar that can still make for cheap air fresheners!

  17. Melissa

I’m wondering if the coupon is beeping because people are buying any Renuzit cones – not specifically the ones that say “Super Odor Neutralizer”. I do see that some of the people that posted had no problems with the coupon, so it obviously does work. I still haven’t been able to try it, because my Walmart and Target don’t have the cones that say “Super Odor Neutralizer”… Target had a double-pack of them, but no singles. 🙁

  18. paulette

Our Walmart refuses to let you use a coupon unless the product matches the picture. I’ve called, complained, etc. I now just go to Target. Not worth the hassle

How many times have we seen flyer ads where it pictures a certain product, but the description mentions other applicable items? (And remember the pork coupon; didn’t it have a picture of ribs on it, or something?) You cannot just go by the picture; there’s not enough ad space to picture every single applicable item. Therefore, everyone has to go by what’s “in writing”. Not that it would happen, but if it went to court (this is ridiculous), they would make a judgement based on what is in writing.

Rite Aid does this all of the time in their flyers; they picture an item or two in the same photo, but list other items as part of the same offer, in text. The same applies to these coupons. You have minimal space to put one picture. And if you have a picture that crowds all of the applicable items, they’d be too small to see, probably. I agree, if it excludes certain items in the text, you shouldn’t try to use it; but if it mentions items that meet the description, it’s only fair to accept them, at the mercy of the register and/or manager, of course.

If you recall last Christmas, there were some Planters coupons from coupons.com and some from Rite Aid Video Values, and I think one from the flu coupon book from Rite Aid as well. When all was combined, it made for really cheap Planters Nut-rition bars. However, the coupons.com coupon had a picture of a jar of nuts on it. But the description clearly stated “On ANY Planters product”. The register beeped for that coupon. The cashier pointed out that it was only for nuts (from the picture). When I asked for the manager to clarify, he agreed with me that you have to look at the wording. So he overrode the coupons.com coupon and accepted it because I was meeting the terms of offer and acceptance of this particular coupon. I offered it, he accepted it. It’s not our job as consumers to decipher nor be expected to decipher coding on coupons.

  20. Janet

This coupon did not work for the Super Odor Neutralizer adjustables at my Walgreen’s. 🙁

  21. Melissa

My Target and Walgreens does not have the “Super Odor Neutralizer” adjustables…they now say “Super Odor Killer”. Maybe some people’s didn’t work because this wording change would exclude the adjustables now?

  22. Judy

I used the Renuzit coupons at Target. They beeped, but the cashier pushed them through for me.
The Walmart I go to is also very funny about the item matching the picture on the coupon. If i get grief about it, I ask the cashier to call the CSM, and then it almost always goes through. I.ve found at Walmart, it’s usually an issue of the cashier not knowing how to put a coupon in, not that they won’t take it. If you’ve seen their recent tv ads, they state that they take any kind of coupon.

  23. Julie

I have called the company and they said this is completely fine. I go to the source instead of arguing. It is completely fair game. I am a very literal person and make sure it’s what it says it is. Collin has not committed fraud.
    Thank you.
