Recyclebank School Year Contest: Earn 110 New Points

Through September 30th, Recyclebank is running their “Green Your School Year contest” (similar to the previous Green your Vacation and Green Your Home contests) where you can earn Recyclebank points just by learning ways to “green your school year”! Head on over here and click on the different boxes which require you to answer question(s), take a quiz or accept a pledge. You should be able to earn up to 110 new points!
If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

7am – Guide = 10 pts
8am – Quiz = 10 pts
10am – download (chalkboard) = 10 pts;
” ” — pledge (teacher) = 10 pts;
” ” —- pledge (door) = 10 pts;
” ” —- tip (wall) = 10 pts
12 – pledge (milk carton) = 10 pts
” – quiz (apple) = 10 pts
” – tip (cup) = 10 pts
3pm – Share a Tip – 20 pts
= 110

Thanks Collin! I have over 1300 points now (collecting for 1.5 years). I’ve never found any rewards that appeal to me (since they don’t have the $/$ CVS coupons anymore). I’m not interested in their coupons, discounts, or magazine subscriptions. Perhaps I will continue to collect points until I reach 2500 for a $10 gift card.

I am having problems collecting the points. For example, I can make a pledge but then when I click on “collect points” nothing happens. This happened when I tried to the 1st section too.

make sure you are allowing pop-ups, when you click ‘collect points’, another window opens.
