If you get the flu shot at Rite Aid, you will also receive a Coupon Booklet filled with lots of high value Rite Aid store coupons that can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons! Keep in mind that you should be able to simply ask your Rite Aid pharmacist for a coupon booklet even if you do not get the flu shot as the fine print specifically states “No Purchase Required for Coupon Book.”

The RA pharmacist and the very friendly store manager both told me that I must get the flu shot in order to get the coupon book. I reminded the manager that all we had to do last year is ask for one and I was under the impression that no purchase was necessary. His reply was that they gave them away last year at some stores because they didn’t offer the flu shot. This year all RA’s are giving the flu shots (forcing their pharmacists to do it or lose their job – which happened at my RA), so the books are only given to those who get the shot.
Anyone else have a different experience trying to obtain the coupon book?

Melissa (and everyone else that encounters an employee like this): you have to remember that some employees go on power trips and feel that how they interpret information will be carried through across the country. It could be true that it is being enforced that way at your local store, but it is impossible for them to enforce that strict policy across all stores.

My RA store manager told me that the no purchase necessary ment that some insurances will cover the flu shot, and it’s no money out of pocket. I had first gone to the pharmacy to get the coupon book, and the girl behind the counter told me I could get it at the front of the store. I went to the front and nobody had any idea what I was talking about. The manager had to call someone else to figure out what the coupon book was.

If you get the flu shot at Rite Aid, you will also receive a Coupon Booklet filled with lots of high value Rite Aid store coupons that can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons! Keep in mind that you should be able to simply ask your Rite Aid pharmacist for a coupon booklet even if you do not get the flu shot as the fine print specifically states “No Purchase Required for Coupon Book.”

I was just a Riteaid and was getting a nail file (one of the really nice ones that have 4 sides to it) and they had tags saying that there was a $1 SCR on any Revlon tool (Limit 2) plus I used the $1 coupon from the 8/28 SS. With my 20% discount it made it really cheap. I can’t find the documention on Rite Aid that there is a SCR on it but the tag said it started 8/31 and goes to something like 9/13 or 9/17. Sorry I didn’t pay more attention. If you get the cheap nail files, this could be a money maker.

Hi Nancy…if you are talking about Manufacturer coupons, it means that there is one per purchase of the product. In other words, if you are buying 2 carefree liners and you have two coupons, one is for each one, as long at they are an amount off 1 (50 cents off one). I know the Video Value coupon that you can stack with the manufacturer coupon (one is a Rite Aid coupon and the other a manufacturer coupon) is for $1 off 2. In other words, you buy 2, get the UPR (Up reward), and get $2.00 off total purchase of two packages. I hope this helps you. Any other questions just ask.

The salespeople at Rite Aid were so nice. They made sure that I got the right one of the Crest Complete toothpaste for the deal where you get $3 register rewards (it’s just 1 particular specific item within the Crest Complete that works for the register rewards and not all of the Crest Complete Extra Whitening). It says Crest Complete multi-benefit extra white Scope Dual Blast 5.8oz and has an entire blue background. Bar code 0 37000 49630 4. The first Crest Complete extra white scope toothpaste that I picked out had Outlast I think on it and didn’t qualify.
Also, I bought 4 of the Carefree pantiliners and used 4 $0.50 coupons and got 4 $1 register rewards. So on this trip I got all items for free and made $2.

I noticed a slight error; the lysol rebate indicates you must buy three items, not two:

Question for anyone who has already mailed in the finesse rebate…
My mom and I got a post card in the mail stating we did not meet the requirements. I paid for the finesse with ups and wonder if they think I used finesse coupons instead of ups and are denying my rebate as well as my moms.
I know several companies in the last year or so have pulled the same stunt. Has anyone had this issue with Finesse or any other rebates???

You should get the best deal…either the discount or the sale price.
I’ve had a few problems with items not ringing up correctly with my 20% discount if my card isn’t scanned FIRST…so, I always let them scan my card before putting any merchandise on the counter.

Yes your discount would not count here because you only get the greater of the discounts and getting one item free outweighs ALL levels of discount on your Rite Aid card. You get no discount on the other item you are purchasing to get the other free either. HTH.

I bought the 4 CoverGirl Natureluxe Cosmetics Lipglosses at buy one get one 50% off with two of the $5 off coupons and at the bottom of my receipt was a link to cover girl website and entry codes. With the four lip glosses I got 40 points which are redeemable towards Taylor Swift merchandise. They have items like guitar picks with Taylors pictures, glitter journals, tshirts, bracelets, iPad cover, and chances to win a Taylor autographed guitar or tickets to her tour. The most ‘expensive’ item was the tshirt for 30 points and the entries to win were 10 points each. The journal was 20 points, a keychain 10, 6 guitar picks were 10, ect. Also, all items ship free and in 4-6 weeks it said.
Just thought I’d let everyone know this is what I got today from my purchase (plus the $5 +UP), to let you know the deal is a little sweeter

Thanks for the input. I also bought several items of cover girl last week and wasn’t sure it would be worth the trouble of entering the codes, but may change my mind now. I went to Rite Aid today and found the Crest toothpaste. It wasn’t advertised on the shelf but my RA is so awesome they worked so hard to find it for me. Well we finally found it on a bonus box with a free floss and free Crest whitestrips. It also had several coupons in the box for a $1 off of one toothpaste etc. This visit made me realize it is worth the effort, and it is effort sometimes to get these deals.
