I requested my check where I actually earned $44.00 back in June and STILL haven’t received it. They charge you $3.00 for requesting it. Wonder where it is or if someone else got it. Contacted CS and got absolutely nowhere! Be cautious when signing up for this site. FYI.

    • abeer

i was reading before in yahoo answers that it takes almost 3 months for the check to show up.
but this was in June so it should be there !!

i don’t think that inboxdollar is the best website.
but collin is saying it takes only 3 or 4 weeks to do 30$
iam doing what she is saying and it took from me 4 months to reach 11$ !!
am i the only one in this ?!

I am a member- and while I didn’t have any problems requesting and receiving a check- it took FOREVER to get to the $30…. and yes, they do charge you $3 to request it. If you don’t want your inbox packed full of spam it takes a long time to get there.

LOL I was going to say the same. It takes me about a year to check out, just clicking on their emails (easy enough). Most of their surveys don’t pay well, and I don’t do the offers since they’re super spammy. They DID give me another $3 (or $5?) after I requested a check, so that was nice.

I agree. I felt like I was quite active on the site, and yet it took me nearly a year to get enough points to receive a check. I cancelled after that. I’m glad to hear some people have had better luck, but I think it is wise to consider the investment of time before signing up for this one.

I too had a bad experience with this site. Took too much time and effort to actually reach $30 and like others said you actually have to reach $33 since they charge a fee. It took me a year to get to the $30 and then I promptly chandelled. I love free reward programs, but just not this one.
Of course others may have had a better experience, I just had to give my 2cents on this one.
    Thanks Collin.

Actually, if you get to $30.00, then you can cash out but your check will be for $27.00. The other $3.00 is technically a fee, but you get a $3.00 credit immediately upon requesting a check.

It does take some time to get to $30.00 if you don’t do the offers. However, I prefer to have a $30.00 check rather than none at all since it takes just seconds each day to click on the paid emails.

I’ve been a member for a couple of years now. While it is possible to get to $30 in a month or so (you would have to sign up for a lot of offers) I normally get one check a year.

I’ve been a member for about a year, cashed out for the $30 a few months ago (minus the $3, which they then credited back to me) and I’m about the cash out for $20. It really requires little effort, and once in a great while, there will be an offer of interest to me. I never take the surveys.

    • Ashley

Same, it does take a little bit, but some offers are really good and even if it takes a little longer… you do nothing but click a button and take surveys. Why not get paid for something you do already! (reading e-mails)

takes waay too much effort and time to make any money…

  7. Faith

I like this site. I print my coupons off the site and get and extra .10 for each coupon I use. I have gotten about 3-4 checks from them.

  8. Pamela

I was going to sign up, but all of your candid feedback is helping me to decide to look elsewhere. Thanks SO much, Hipsters!

    • Tia

I agree with you. It doesn’t sound like it’s worth my time at all. Thanks, Hipsters for your input!

It is very time consuming, I have been a member for over a year. It took me one year to get to $30 amount so I could cash out – and they make it a bit difficult to cash out – I am still waiting for payment, check should be cut Oct. 3 but I need to continue to be active. You must READ everything very carefully – small print and all. They also charge you to cut your check. I only read the paid emails and well most of the surveys I never “qualified for” after taking a survey to see if I qualified – as I said – very time consuming. So far I think Pinecone research is far the easiest and best paying site to use for a little pin money.

Hi everyone, this is Joe from InboxDollars. Thanks for the great feedback on InboxDollars! Our club is not intended as a work-at-home site, but is a great way to earn some extra cash for the activities you like to do online.
As with everything, the more you do the more you can earn and InboxDollars offers many different ways for our members to grow their earnings. And, we’re always introducing new ways to earn, like cash videos, cash search, cash for redeeming coupons and more emailed surveys. Its true that processing the 1st check takes about a month because we want to minimize the impact of scammers, who complete offers, request checks and then return their purchases – none of us win when that happens. But, after the 1st check you automatically become a Gold Member and we process your check request in one week, something all our Gold Members appreciate.

Sandy, please try the Support Center again, I’m certain we can track down your June check request and solve the problem.

I am so disappointed with this company. I would like to find somewhere to complain about them on a review website! I have been a member for a couple years. I got to the first $30 it took a while but I got it done. Now they have stopped sending me emails and my balance even when I click on their site stays the same. I even have 2 referrals and have only gotten 5 CENTS from them. I live chatted with someone the other day and she had a script she kept sending that basically said just reading tehir emails isnt enough, you need to do the bigger offers. So I would need to go to their website and look for the expensive offers. I cant believe they changed everything in mid stream. I am embarassed that my referrals(friends) might think I led them wrong 🙁

I was a member for about a year and was about 21.00 into the program. Suddenly, nothing anymore, no emails, click-thrus, zip. I was wondering what happened to them. Any ideas as to what might have occurred?

    • Mary

Read my post above….according to their rep we didnt do the “big” deals where they make money!

  14. Danielle

When I read that most members cash out $30 a month, I felt so slow! Glad to see by the comments here that my half a year or more has gotten me to almost $30. Feel much better about my pace now that I know it’s really the average.

  15. Jamie

I signed up before reading these comments and then saw the comments and canceled my account. I have other survey sites that I seem to cash out all the time so this one does not seem to be worth my time. I will forfeit $5 bonus, because I do not understand the $3 fee to get a check? Even with it being credited back, don’t u always get charged when u ask for a check? No thanks! None of my other survey sites charge me.
