Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

** Now please note that this deal will in fact be a YMMV (your mileage may vary) as it will depend on how coupon friendly your Walgreens cashier is since you are using 2 Walgreens coupons on one item. However, per the Walgreens corporate coupon policy,When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.” So I interpret this as allowing customers to use more than one Walgreens coupon on a single item.

My wags was out of the pretzel M&MS! I seriously couldn’t believe it, as I go to a wags that hardly every has cleared shelves, I can usually go in on a tues or wed and have all the sale items still in stock!

Oh well, got the blistex, Revlon Concealer& almonds.

I still have so many RR to use up from last week’s gain deal.

  2. Jennie

The Advil coupon in my Walgreens September book is for the 300 count only, which is not on sale. I did buy the 300 count for $20.99, less the $5.00 coupon and $2.00 mf coupon, so paid $13.99 oop. But I need it so it works.

    • Anne

Walgreens brand ibuprofen is on sale this week B1G1 half off.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Everything walgreens brand is buy one get one half off

If you’ve never tried pretzel M & M’s, try a small bag first. My entire family, including 2 teenage boys who eat practically anything, all disliked them.

    • milly

I tried the small bag before and I thought it was really great! It’s really crunchy and I like that. I went to Walgreens today and did the M&M’s pretzel deal. On my way home, I opened one bag and I thought that it tasted old and not crunchy as the smaller ones. Could it just be a bad bag or are the smaller ones really better than the bigger pretzel M&M’s? I am so disappointed I want to return them. I opened one bag. Does Wag accept returns?

      • LaToya

Yes – you can return for quality and get your money back. Might be complicated with the RRs and whatnot, but yes, you can…

        • milly

Thanks. I haven’t used the RR’s anyway so I could return them as well. Yup, quality sucks=( and I would want to know if these pretzels are really supposed to be like this or did I just got a bad bag..

      • Allison

unless the bag said it was expired, I’d say no, not to return them. Especially since you got a RR.

        • Rachael

Just to clarify about returning RR items for all you hipsters:
Walgreens does accept returns on items that received a RR, as long as you have the RR to forfeit as well for the item. If you don’t have the RR for the item, then the price will be adjusted down minus the RR (this is a per store thing… some managers might not). You can NOT return any item that was FARR without the RR. But you can return an item that was FARR with the RR from the item. Does that make sense? You shouldn’t be stuck with merchandise you are unhappy with or you happen to have an issue with (ie, allergic reaction…)

I tried getting the revlon special at my local store and i didn’t get the $3 register rewards. The manager told me that it was $10 after coupons. I called walgreens costumer service and they told me the same thing. 🙁 grrrr

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Be careful if you are going to do the 4 for $15 on the Tresemee and hoping for the $5 RR back. They said at Walgreens today that they are having issues with this RR and handing all customers who are doing this deal a form to mail in with your receipt in order to receive the RR…

  6. Stacey

I do not understand the Revlon deal. The ONLY coupon for Revlon I have is a $1/1 Revlon Beauty Tool. I keep all my makeup coupons and I do not have one. So does this work for all makeup? I wouldn’t think so.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Stacey, there was a coupon in the inserts from 7/24 S that is a walgreens coupon but it was very regional. I do not have the code handy if your store will enter it manually. Try doing a search for the coupon. There was also a $1 MQ that just expired. HTH clear things up a bit for you.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Wags accepted the coupon code, since I didn’t have the actual coupon. You should be able to do the deal! Code 5829. I have used this code for several deals (3 weeks) I have no idea when it expires. I used it on Sunday !

      • Stacey

I have the Walgreens coupon but not the other one. I LOVE getting cheap makeup! Oh well. I am sure there will be another time.
Thanks for all the feedback. IS the code what is on the coupon?

    • danigirl

I was really excited about that one.. Some of the Revlon coupons are regional though, so if you don’t live in the right area they wouldn’t have been in your SS. I live in the Northwest and I didn’t get them either 🙁

      • Sonia

You gals in the Northwest are so beautiful Revlon doesn’t bother with you, lol.

      • Stacey

        Me too.

    • milly

That’s also what I have. Maybe others have a regional coupon or something?

  7. Crystle

On the prevacid, there is a $4 newspaper coupon that has the rebate with it. the rebate states you have to use the $4 coupon to do the rebate but wags has a coupon in their booklet $3 that you can stack with it making a better deal! and the rebate says up to $18.99.

  8. Jamie

I have tried to maximize my savings at walgreens when they have a but 1 get one 50% of or a plain %age off sale. But when I use mfr coupons with it, then the %age I should have gotten off is reduced. It’s worse if I pair a mfr coupon and a store coupon with a %age off deal, such as the revlon deals. The register reduces the %age off and the total $ amount of the store coupon. I have several receipts to prove this ALWAYS happens. Wouldn’t this be considered false advertising? I’m thinking about reporting this practice to the state attorney generals office…

    • milly

Could you give an example please?

      • Jamie

Well I am not at home right now to give exact figures from the receipts but if you give me a day or so I can scan and email you copies. But for example purposes… Last month when the childrens advil was on sale b1 g1 50% off, I bought 4. I recall they were over $6 each at my store. She hit subtotal and we saw it had taken the correct %age off. So, then I stared with the mfr coupons and RR. On the final reciept, the printout showed it had only taken a total of $5 off for the b1 g1 50% off. We re-rang it to make sure. Same thing. The amount off was indicated correctly before coupons, adjusted to lesser after coupons.

The next good example was the %age off sale with the revlon tweezers a couple of weeks ago. The percentage off was fine until coupons. I used the beauty tool coupons and the monthly book store coupon. I did use the store coupon first and then the mfr coupon. The register accepted both. The final reciept showed that the % off sale calculated out to be reduced from what it was before I used coupons. The store coupon also adjusted to a different amount.

In plain, I feel cheated. I can prove this is happening. I have receipts I can pair with advertised sales and coupons.

Herbal Essence shampoo RR didn’t work in Aloha oregon. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Herbal Essesnce RR worked in Nixa MO but the Tresseme $5 one did not..

  10. Tara

So for the GasX/Maalox/Exlax deal could we get 1 of each and still use the $10/3 coupon and the September coupons? We don’t have to buy 3 of the same product do we?

  11. Lori

I am new to Walgreens – If I buy diapers and get a register reward, can i do another transaction for toothpaste, use the register reward from the diapers and still get the register reward from the toothpaste? Thanks for your help!

    • JKB

Yes! As long as the register reward you are using is not from the same company as the product you are buying you should be good. If you look at your register reward, it will say something like “Thank you from Kimberly-Clark” (Or P&G or whoever). As long as the product you are buying next isn’t a Kimberly-Clark (Or P&G or whoever) product, you can use the register reward and should get any applicable register reward associated with the purchase.

  12. laura

Has ayone tried doing the in infant advil deal.???????

  13. Jill

I bought the 4 bags of pretzel M&M’s but I didn’t get a $5 RR? If the deal is unadvertised, can I go back and ask for it the RR?

    • Leticia

Did you buy the right size i think its the 12.2 oz bag. My walgreens has a sign right infront of them maybe you could go ask the manager if he has heard anything about it..

  14. JKB

Today my Wags cashier told me that if a printable coupon says “DO NOT DOUBLE,” at the top, that means you can only use one. 🙂 Oh, silly man. He had to call a manager. I felt bad because there were about five people in line behind me, but sorry, folks, not my fault.

  15. Tonya

On the Toms of Maine deal I just wanted to let you know that at my store the lids toothpaste was included. It was priced at $2.59. I used the $1 coupon and got back 2 RR so it was a .41 MM.

  16. Beth

Has anyone tried the mentos deal? The in-ad coupon is for the tubes of mentos & the manufacturer coupon says “bottle”. Has this deal worked for anyone? Just curious, nervous to try it……..

  17. meganparsec

i tried the revlon deal to buy 3 Revlon Age Defying Concealers $9.99 – 40% off sale = $5.99 each. But although they were priced down to $9.99, the 40% was taken off their regular price of $14.99! boo! so no free makeup for me this trip. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Same thing here and I had to go thru 3 different people and LOTS of time to find out that the 9.99 price was already reduced. Would have been a sweet deal as I have 8 of those Q’s…oh well!

    • nicole

Same here, I know a scenario on another site said to buy one of the 14.99 ( 9.99 after 40%)concealers and a 9.99 foundation (5.99 after 40%), but all the age makeup was the same price, I thought I missed something….still a good deal though =(

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know the “code number” in the Walgreens Baby coupon Booklet for the Huggies Wipes and Children’s Advil? I do know the Huggies Diapers Big Pack code is 5519.

    • Porsche.Kumming

The wipes code is the same as the diapers and the advil is 5520

  19. laura

    question: not coupon related
    hope someone can hep
how many ounces of baby formula is a 4 month old has to take and every how many hours???????

    • Abby

Best place to ask that question would be your doctor or clinic. Every baby’s needs are different.

  20. Mitch

My Walgreens did not give m an RR for the 4 bags of M & M’s!
    What do I do?
    thanks
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  21. Abby

Ok so I’m too lazy to read all the comments this week, but as an alternative to the GasX deal (no $10/3q in n VA) the $2.50/2 maalox in the same insert is still valid making the bottles $1.75/ea which is a great deal

  22. erin

did everyone get infusium coupons? I have been back and forth and can’t find one.

    • laura

      i got some
      chicago

  23. andrea

I called corporate Walgreens because my RR did not print out on the M&M deal either. She was totally unaware of it. Maybe if anyone has the sign up at their store they can take a picture and send it to corporate so they can then pass the info on to their stores. CVS is so much easier to shop at.
