I tried this at Walgreens, but I did not receive the $5 RR, they said that it was not a RR deal – ?? I live in Indiana if that makes a difference. Any ideas?

I live in Indiana too and have found that my Walgreens does not participate in a number of the deals posted. I always check my specific store’s weekly ad before buying a deal, that way I can see which advertised deals they’re doing.

The ad that tries to print after the coupon is done can be an ink hog! You’ll definitely want to hit cancel right after the coupon prints so the ad doesn’t print too!

I like to warm mine in the microwave for about 20-25 seconds to get them warm and soft on the inside. Just be careful when you eat the first one to make sure they are not to hot.

You can roll RR as long as you got them from a different item. If you try using RR from the M&M deal to make another M&M transaction the RR won’t print.

Does anyone know what to do with a laser printer to be able to cancel and avoid wasting toner on the ads that print after the coupon? Also, I need a new toner, but don’t want to pay retail price any inexpensive places you might know about would really help. Thanks

I live in MI as well! Did you buy the m&m’s by the halloween candy or in the normal lay-down bags? I didn’t price check, but our Walgreens only advertised the fun size bags as part of the $2/5 deal. I think because I bought those, they weren’t part of the RR deal because I didn’t get one!

They are in the Portland Ad as being on sale. I went to the Wood Village store and they were not marked as on sale but rang up for the right price.

my only conern is that the $5 rr won’t print. its hard to argue with the cashier if there is no printed fly to show them current RR promotion. did everyone get their RR printed with purchase of $10 M&M?

Is there something with this deal that makes it better when you buy 4 bags vs just 2? Other than more cheap chocolate of course… but it would make more sense to me to do 2 transactions using 1 coupon each time and getting 1 $5RR each time. I read the comments and no one else has pointed this out, so clearly I am missing something…

I just totally answered my own question.. you have to buy 4 to get the RR, not 2… completely missed that the first time until I tried to read it out loud to my wife… my bad, ya’ll!!

I was able to print two. If you can’t get it to print again, see if you have the coupon from last Sunday’s paper or the All You Mag.

I just came back from Walgreens and this deal worked great! I bought two of the peanut butter and two of the peanut bags. I found them in the regular candy section (not the halloween/autumn section). The display showed $2.99 each and listed the RR deal. The bags rang up at $2.50, just like the add says, and the RR printed! Thanks for the great deal! My husband will be pleased:)

I went to my Walgreens on LI, NY and just got the M&M’s. The ad in the flier said sale of $2.99 or 2/$5. I used the coupons and got the RR. Thank you my children will be surprised to see homemade cookies with the M&M’s in them.

Worked for me! I used my $5 RR I received from the M&M’s to buy the Hylands child’s cough syrup (pay $4.99, get $5.00 back), then used the new $5.00 RR to buy another round of M&M’s! I don’t want to be too greedy, I am just a chocoholic! THANK YOU Collin!!! You made my weekend!!!!

For you commissary shoppers out there, I wanted to let you know the printed coupon would not properly scan for me today. Our commissary will not push through a coupon that will not scan. I am fairly certain it was because it is off TWO, but they still wouldn’t push it through for me. Our commissary has regular M&M bags (12.6oz) for just $2 right now (holiday ones are $2.19) so this would have been awesome with the coupon. : (

I asked a cashier, they usually know, she said they weren’t producing rr but I did it anyways b/ci was craving candy & couldn’t find a better deal. It did produce $5rr. I thought it didn’t work b/c it produce it as quick as it usually does but as I was walking away the cashier stopped me and told me I had a coupon. My store didn’t have signs either.it was worth a try

Worked like a charm in orange county, CA. They had the yellow sale sign posted with RR deal but priced at $2.99. Will ring up $2.50 each though. Can’t wait to try the dark chocolate peanut M&M!

Just got back from Walgreens and the RR deal worked for me in AL. I bought 4 bags of plain M&M’s used a $1.50/2 coupon and a $2 RR and then received the $5 RR which I then used to purchase the Hyland cough syrup for FREE got another $5 RR and then purchased another 4 bags of M&M’s and received another $5 RR!!!
