Thank you! My husband and I were just saying that we need more board games.

You can also try going to Habro.com to get coupons for some of these games as well.

I forgot – click on the second blue dot in the advertisement section for the coupons.

These are ideal to tuck away now for needy children you may be buying for at Christmas>>>like the Angel Tree names folks at churches choose.

      GREAT IDEA!

I agree! That’s what I do with all of the board games that I buy throughout the year. I already have 9 games waiting 🙂 I have a bunch of coupons left so I’ll head over to Toys R Us tomorrow and pick up a few. Thanks for the heads-up, Collin 🙂

Scrabble also is available for that price with coupon.

What are the chances any will be left by the time I get there tomorrow? Can you price match this deal at other store?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The shelves were still full at my store at 9 pm today. I bought several of the games mentioned here. I also bought a Buzz Lightyear Operation that was on clearance for $10, so $6 after the $4 coupon from the 9/11 SS. And I picked up some carpet slides on clearance for $7.50. Not as good a price as the other items, but a they are a lot of fun. This will make a good donation to our school’s toy drive!

Walmart also has a bunch of board games in their clearance section. Monopoly (limited edition) which is normally 18, was marked down to 5. I used my $4/1 coupon and got it for $1! Maybe other walmarts have these marked down. Also used the $4 of Sorry Revenge card game and got it for 1.97. Nice gifts/stocking stuffers!

Another idea from my medically fragile daugher began, was to buy inexpensive games and donate them to your local children’s hospital for the kids. They always can use games and the kids in isolation need their own.

It’s so true – when my daughter was going through chemo and radiation, one of the only things that brightened her day was getting to go choose an item from the toy closet. They are always in need of more games and books!!

Anny & Katie, I hope all is well with your daughters! 🙂

Toys R Us also had other board games on clearance. I opted to spend a little more for the electronic Monopoly games that was marked down to $11.73 from $24.98, then got 2 of the $7.99 games also. Total was $15 for 3 games. Thanks for the post, Collin!

Thank you for this post. My husband lost his job and I was worrying how I was going to donate to Toys for Tots this year. I bought several games tonight. I had to ask for help as the sales price was not listed on the games. The employee check the price and it came up $7.99. I had no problem using the coupons.

  14. ManateeRawr

The coupons have now been taken off the Hasbro website. Guess too many people were using them…
