  • Megan Miller says:

When I printed the coupon for the Colgate Optic White toothpaste it says it expires today :(

  • melanie says:

Thank you! As usual, you are amazing. :)

  • Carol_R says:

The Zarbee’s is a $1 moneymaker if you did the Walgreen’s Zarbee’s deal since there is a $1 Zarbee’s coupon in the box.

    • Collin says:

Yeah! I love those moneymakers! :D

    • Anonymous says:

Has anyone used the Zarbee’s yet? Does it work. I have a coughing 18-month-old right now :( What is the age restrictions on it?

      • Ashley says:

I think it might be for 2 years and up, I used some that I got from walgreens for my 3 year old and it really helped her coughing through the night!

      • PG says:

It works but it smells and tastes AWFUL. All three of my sons refused it on the smell alone. I finally ended up trying it but I won’t again because it tastes so awful.

As someone else commented, I believe this product is recommended only for ages 2+.

        • LB77 says:

worked good for our 2.5 year old son. He didn’t like taste with water, but mixed with OJ and drank it down.

        • Momoon says:

My 6 year old thought it tasted awful too. I smelled it and didn’t make her take the whole thing since I didn’t even want to drink it. She was then complaining that she felt like throwing up so I’ve thrown it out. I didn’t think to combine with OJ but I think the liquid Zarbees is much better than the packets you mix with water.

      • kim says:

it is awful the kids hate it and i dont think it works cause no meds in it its all natural

        • ricks48038 says:

Kim, it doesn’t have to have chemicals (meds) in it to work, there are many products with natural ingredients that do work.

      • Dani says:

Someone told me to rub baby vicks on their feet and cover with socks. It’s supposed to help with congestion and coughing. I haven’t tried it yet so I can’t say if it’s complete nonsense but certainly wouldn’t harm at that age.

        • Adrienne says:

I do the vapor rub on the feet all the time with baby vapor rub and it works amazing!

          • abigail says:

Thanks…I’m gonna try the vapor rub on his feet tonight. Fingers crossed that it’ll work!

            • Stephanie says:

You can also buy a vicks vaproizer thing, it is NOT a humidifier you buy these little pads that have vicks on them, plug it in and it permeates the room. My pharmacist recommended it since my daughter won’t keep the vicks on, she doesn’t mind this and it works well. i only buy the refill pads, they are cheapest at wal mart. The pharmacist said this really thins the mucus and she uses it with her children.

        • Catherine says:

True! Even works on us old folks too!

      • Anonymous says:

My son liked the Zarbee’s grape flavored one. It really helped his coughing from his allergies and helped him sleep through the night.

      • Paula says:

I’ve used the Zarbee’s liquid a few times and it tastes like honey. I used it when I was pregnant and couldn’t take much and I’ve used it on my 2 year old son a couple of times. It seems to help him a lot.

  • Carol_R says:

For the Bayer Aspirin Deal there is a $1 ecoupon on Savings Star so if you get that it would be a $1 moneymaker.

    • Collin says:

Just added it to the deal scenario. :D

    • Jennifer says:

Can you use Saving Star at Rite Aid? I’ve never used this before.

      • Meagan Tuck says:

Saving Star works through your loyalty or store cards. You set up an account with Saving Star and add your loyalty card number to your account info. Then, you add that saving star deal to your account (click “I want This”). Then you make sure you use your loyalty card when you purchase the item. After 2-3 weeks, it will show up in your saving star account that you made the purchase. Once you have $5 in your saving star account, you can deposit it in your bank account. Works great! hope this helps :)

        • Ryan says:

Megan, so with Saving Star, the money is not taken off at the register? It is money that you get back later, correct? I have seen it mentioned a lot lately, but have never understood it. Am I am to use it with a printed coupon too?

  • Vina says:

My colgate optic white toothpaste coupon expires today too.
Thanks for posting the deals, Colin. You are awesome!

  • Carol_R says:

I can’t wait for tomorrow for the Rite Aid Deals. This week is great there.

  • Katie says:

Just to let everyone know, the $1/2 VV for October for the M&M’s is only for the 12.6oz bags, not fun size.

  • Alex says:

The M&Ms deal won’t work with the October Video Values coupon — the coupon is for 12.6+ oz packs — not the smaller ones that are 2/$4.

  • Suellen says:

FYI: The Colgate OpticWhite printable coupon is printing with an Oct. 8 expiration date so it won’t work for the sale that starts tomorrow 10/9….wish they’d put out a new one!

  • Isra says:

    Hi Collin!
There is a $1/1 Comtrex in the 9/18 Parade magazine, making it a $1 MM! Thanks for all the deals!

  • Jackie says:

I think you should definitely be able to use the vv coupon and the man Q on the suave deal. One is rite aid and one is manufacturer…it doesn’t matter that its a B1G1 coupon…its not a store promotion, just a coupon.

Also, do you know if the biosilk, tigi bedhead/catwalk up is going to be for trials again?

    • Collin says:

      Hi Jackie!

That’s a tricky question as this is what is stated in the Rite Aid Coupon Policy:

Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use ONE “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.

If you use the B1G1 Free manufacturer coupon, it seems that it would be against the coupon policy to also use the $2/2 Video Values coupon since this coupon is applied to both the item you are getting free with the manu coupon AND the item that you are paying for. If someone has another opinion, please feel free to share it.

In terms of the Tigi deal, the ad scan does not mention that the deal excludes trial sizes so I am not sure. :D

  • Coupz says:

Thanks this is great! How does the Single check rebate work? I never done that!TIA

  • there’s a $1.50 off any one burt’s bees item in the october issue of shape magazine. the item’s pictured on the coupon are body products, so i’m not sure if this coupon will match up UPC-wise with the cough drops, but the coupon just says “any burt’s bees item (excluding lip care)” so i think using it with the cough drops would be legit. it also has a walgreens logo at the bottom, but it’s a manufacturer coupon. so this one may be very YMMV, but i’m going to try it!

  • kellyh says:

Can I use +UP’s to buy a RX? And if my RX if $10, can I use multiple of them, {say the several $1 ones from this week} on a purchase of one item? I think some stores allow that and some don’t.

    • PG says:

No, you can’t. You can’t use them to purchase anything that comes from behind the pharmacy counter.

      • ricks48038 says:

I’ve been able to use them on non-prescription sinus medicine that you have to get from the pharmacy.

      • Carol_R says:

Not true. You can’t use them on prescriptions. +Up Rewards can be used on Pseudofed & other OTC medicine and other products that are kept behind the pharmacy counter that aren’t prescriptions.

  • Jamie says:

The alka-seltzer cold product printed a $3.00 off good on the combined purchase of any alka-seltzer antacid and Alka-Seltzer plus cold product :(

  • croche says:

Off subject, but I was watching extreme couponing the other night and guess what site one of the participants was checking out? Yes, Hip 2 Save.

  • Kimberly says:

I was told by my Rite Aid that blush was not considered face product or makeup. Is this right or wrong? I tried to tell them that it was. They also said that consealer was not either. Someone help me understand this?

    • Arria says:

Then what is??? Thats crazy!!! I just used that coupon last night at RA for lip stick, blush, bronzer, and eyeshadow.

      • Emily says:

According to the covergirl website it includes:

        FOUNDATION
        POWDER.
        CONCEALER
        BLUSH
        BRONZER
        FACE TOOLS.

Using it on the lipstick is actually a misuse of the coupon, and the store will probably not get reimbursed for that.

        • Carol_R says:

The store will get reimbursed for it in this instance since they sell the other products. All they’re doing is sending the coupons to a clearinghouse. They’re not sending their register transaction data. That would only be an issue if they were audited.

    • melissa says:

Covergirl site lists ‘face’ products as
Foundation, Concealer, Powder, Blush, Bronzer & Face Tools.

There is some debate on Covergirl fb page as to whether eyes & lips are ‘face’ products… IMO, no b/c there are separate coupons for lips & eye products. If it said Color Cosmetic product, then yes, eyes & lips would count.

    • Kim says:

Any make up that you put on your face I consider a face product. Cover Girl also makes eye pencil sharpeners, make up removers, brushes and pads… those I would consider not face products.

    • Ashley says:

your store is wrong, I used the coupons for blush and concealer! And Those are totally face products, you don’t put them on your eyes, or your lips so what is it then?? lol

    • retireewannabe says:

I used the $8 coupon on 2 blushes that were $4.39 each. With the bogo 50% off, that gave me $1.40 in overage! Yipee!

  • LILY says:

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY DIAPER SALES FOR THIS WEEK I AM IN NEED OF DIAPERS

    • Erin says:

If you go today, CVS has Huggies for $7.99. Use the Slip-on $3 or another coupon for as little as $4.99. Remember, CVS has a buy 6 get 1 free program running through the end of the year. AND, if you buy Slip-ons and have a Saving Star account, you get $2 back. :) I’m heading to CVS in a few minutes. Worse comes to worse, they are OOS and I’ll get a rain check. ;)

  • faith says:

    Colin,
not sure if the $1.50/2 M&M coupon will work in that scenerio it says on coupon for 11 oz or larger? lmk if anyone is able to use it or if it beeps. there is a $1/2 m&m manf coupons out there

  • Ashley says:

WOW! it is a good week :) Which is good because I’ve got up’s to roll :D and I’ll tell ya, all these halloween candy sales are GREAT because thursday was my birthday and I promised myself I’m getting in shape for the rest of my life starting now (I just turned 16 and always had weight problems) But I’m proudly bypassing all the candy sales :) (since I live in the country and no one comes here for trick or treating anyway) Happy shopping!

  • Dana says:

there is a $1 coupon in the flu shot coupon book for the hand sanitizer making it a money maker

  • Barbi says:

Semi off this topic, but I occasionally get diaper coupons that I don’t need as my baby just turned 21. I’d like to be Hip and Share. I know that I can’t accommodate everyone since I only purchase one paper each week, but I’m hoping to share with a fellow Hip2Save Groupie.

  • tommie says:

I got a $2 manu q catalina when I purchased the Cepacol from this week! So $2 MM for me!! Hope others got this too!

  • lovedeals says:

We got $3 and $4 Dr. Scholl’s coupon in 10/02 ss.

  • katzand says:

I am new to this site. I work at a Kroger store. I usually buy four newspapers a week. I am ALWAYS on the lookout for great deals. My daughter and her husband work in another city, so most of their money now goes for gas. I try to help them by couponing. I have a small stockpile, but I only buy items that we will use. I am helping to feed 14 people. When they tease me at work, I just say to them….If you were reading the newspaper, and you found dollar bills between the pages….wouldn’t you pick them out? Their response is…of course. Well, that is exactly what I am doing. My coupons are money that I don’t have to spend.

  • nichole says:

I did my deals last night :) My local store gave me the $ off for the register rewards instead because the wouldn’t print. I am posting to say proceed with caution on the hand santizer they had a ton and thankfully it was free as it expires 11/11. You may want to check the date as I won’t be able to go through 4 bottles in that short amount of time I will be sharing the wealth by giving away the other 3 bottles. I am completly okay with this but would’t be able to use them to stock up for the long winter :) Great Deal Collin Thanks I spent $0 and used $2UR Needless to say I was excited!

    • mindy says:

yes you are totally right. i went into RA this morning and was shocked to see that none of them was on the self so i asked one of the employees and she said that they sent a whole bunch, but they were all expired so they had to pull them off the shelves. sad…..

  • littleblessings says:

diapers- tugaboos are $8.99 use $1 off vv then get back $4 ups. I used my overage from some of the mm for the remaining. hope this helps.

  • Coupz says:

    Does Rite aid allow overage?TIA!

  • andrea says:

Has anyone else seen the sign under the John Frieda shampoo and conditioner at their Rite Aid? It says Additional $10 ups when you buy 2 participating products, lists Curel, Jergens, and then John Frieda hair color and hair care. I am wondering how this could be right, you get a $5 ups and then the additional $10 ups. So $15 ups that’s $5 mm w/o coupons! How is it possible?

    • Meghan says:

I did not get the additional $10 up even though the signs were up, not sure what the deal is? It will be interesting to hear if it prints for anyone.

    • Rosie says:

I too am curious about this as I saw the signs posted at my store as well. Anyone have any info? Emily, are you out there? ;D

    • Ashley Marie says:

I saw it and asked about it, the manager said that if it didn’t print he would give it to me on a gift card. I tried the John Frieda first & bought 4 bottles. I only received the 2 $5 Ups so he put $20 on a gift card for me. Then I did two Curel lotions & two Jergens lotions & got a $5 Up. I’m not sure why that up printed & said I should only get $15 dollars because I had already used my limit of 2 $5 Ups. The manager said nope, you are getting another $20 on your gift card. I did my shopping and ended up spending $12.11 OOP and walked out with one $1 Up and $40 on a gift card. It was a GREAT Rite Aid day.

      • Ashley Marie says:

I should mention the $10 Up says limit of 4. And the sign says “Get an additional 10 Up.” It says it is in ADDITION to the $5 Ups already there. One Rite Aid cashier said the $10 Up was a monthly deal while the $5 Up is a weekly.
*My biggest excitement was that this was my first coupon trip since June. I had given up for a while because of the craziness that seems to be going on with usage of coupons. I used coupons, but not my usual Sunday trips to RA. So this was an AMAZING find.

        • Anonymous says:

Ya my Rite Aid honored the deal too, but I have been told since that the signs were misprints and have been pulled, but still awesome deal on that one, yay!!

    • coralie says:

those signs were a misprint and were supposed to have been taken down (per my 20 minute conversation with customer service last week). however, my manager had only understood the memo from corporate to mean the trial size so our signs were still up. i called from the store after neither the $5 nor the $10 up printed for purchasing the 10 oz. jergens lotion even though the signs were there. after my call they were taken down.

  • Jody says:

Fantastic day at Rite Aid!!! I think we are stocked for cold season!! Yay! Thanks Collin!

Side note….the Alka Seltzer Coupon did not work for me. I picked up to Alka Seltzer Plus Cold on sale 2/$11 not realizing the coupon needed you to also buy an Alka Seltzer Antacid. And unfortunately the Antacids were not included in the +up nor 2/$11 deal. There were however $1 Peelie stickers on some of the boxes I used. Making them 2/$4 after +up and 2/$1 coupons. Still a good deal!

  • Lisa says:

    Butterfinger fun size 2/$5
    Use $1 off 2 coupon from coupons.com
Use $1 off 2 coupon from October Video Values
    = 2 for $3 (or $1.50 each)

  • Ashley says:

I have to call corperate and fill out the survey thing because of how I was treated today at my riteaid. I had the BEST costomer service I think I’ve EVER had shopping period. It’s a new manager that worked at other stores but now works at mine :D and he’s VERY helpful and even helped me with fillers because the shopping trip went better than expected and I had a $10 up to use, I ended up paying 14 cents out of pocket for my deals today and got an extra treat for my family! I told him he is great with costomer service and I’m thankful for all his help :) My riteaid is normally very good, because I’ve made friends with all the cashiers and we all talk deals :) but it just got better :D

    • Collin says:

I love hearing stories of great customer service! :D I think it is so important to take the time to fill out the customer service survey as it is always wonderful to give positive feedback. So glad that you had such a great experience today!

  • Tracy says:

Don’t forget the $1.00 off any Zarabees product.

  • Aubrey says:

I am wondering if anyone shops at any of the stores that are participating in the spend $100 through Oct 31st and get a $20 +UP reward? I reached my $100 last week and the $20 hasn’t printed yet. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well? A few other customers at the store I shop at are having the same problem.

  • Christine says:

    Hey all,
I’m new to Video Values and RIteAid in general, so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or not. When I go to the Video Values page and try to watch the Suave video (any video, for that matter), it keeps telling me that video is unavailable and to watch a different one. Has anyone else had this problem?

  • Coupz says:

Same here ….Internet Explorer(64 bit) worked for me. Hope that helps!

  • Sharon says:

FYI, my Food Lion has Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner on sale this week for $3.32. I picked up two, used the $3 coupon and paid $3.64 or $1.82 each!

  • Pam says:

I just came back from RA and found that the Suave Naturals were on sale for 2/$3, not the Suave Professionals, which are what the coupons for the Oct. videos and 10/2 RP are for. The Suave Professionals on the shelves were listed as $2.69 each.

  • Donna Mc. says:

Suave Shampoo or Conditioner 22.5 oz. 2/$3
Use the $2/2 coupon from the October Video Values
    Final Cost $0.50 each!

I saw in one store a sign that said if you buy two BONUS SIZE hair care items, you get a $2 +UP, so if you can find the 30 oz Suave, which is 22.5 oz with 33% free … you should be able to get two free after +Ups

    • Donna Mc. says:

Hmmm.. bought the two bonus size Suave today that the sign was above and did not get the $2 +UP. On the phone with their customer service now. I recall the sign saying 9/28 though 10/25, so maybe it was an unadvertised monthly deal?

      • Coupz says:

Same here..Just came from Rite Aid and did this Suave deal..and didnt get any UP rewards. :(

        • Coupz says:

Please let me also know what they say. TIA!

          • Donna Mc. says:

The signage was clearly for buy two bonus size hair product and get $2 +UP and was on an end cap filled with bonus sized Suave. It even said limit 4. When I called they said they didn’t have any information on the promo, and they called the store, but then called me back and said the store gave them a hard time — LOL — so true. They said they would take my work and send me $2 +UP, but if I am back at the store I will take a picture of this. I know I am not losing my mind. It was on display with the bonus sized 30 oz Suave dated through 10/25.

        • Donna Mc. says:

Was their signage in your store for $2 +UP when you buy two bonus sized hair care items? Maybe they put the signage in the wrong place in my store, but the person I talked with on the phone wasn’t even aware of any bonus sized hair care UPs

          • Coupz says:

Thanks! There was no sign in the Rite Aid I went I just read your post and found the bonus bottles and thought would give it a try. But the UPs didn’t print. I don’t think so I can even call the corporate and tell them about this as I saw no sign. I think I will just keep it because if I return it then I will lose my VV coupon :(

Thanks so much for the list Collin, I got 8 bottles of John Freida Root Awaking shampoo’s & conditioners (2 cards) it’s my favorite, and a bunch of the freebies. It’s nice to start couponing again, I stopped for a few months because my mom passed away. I forgot how much fun things still are to do. Thanks for the list!!

Anyone have a Taylor Swift Code they aren’t going to use? I would love to get my daughter the t-shirt AND the poster but I need one more code. If you have one, could you email it to dnankee276@comcast.net labeled Taylor Swift? I would be so grateful and it would be a wonderful surprised too for my daughter!!!

  • Samantha says:

I just got back from RA, and I found a display of John Frieda products on one of the endcaps (it was a few aisles away from the haircare section in my store). With the display were little John Frieda pamphlets with a $1/1 coupon on the back. Just an FYI to look in your store if you need them; not as good as the $2/1 coupons, but they don’t expire until 5/31/12 so they could come in handy later.

  • Kathy says:

I have a question about the p&g rebate form. On the rebate form there is only 8 space for the upc. I have more than 8 products to equal $50 dollars can i use more than one rebate form for just one rebate or what do i do in this case? Please someone help me… thanks

    • Andrea says:

On a previous rebate I had that dilemma and just wrote them on the back with “over –>” written on the front. I got my rebate. This time I have 2 extra so I just wrote one above and one below the 8 spots they gave.

Great week at Rite Aid. Went three times this week and ended up with lots of cold, cough medicine and candy and toothpaste etc. I hardly spent anything oop and was able to roll$15 in ups for $15 in ups. It’s been awhile since I’ve been this lucky. I am revived to cpn again.
