Walmart: Freebies with Tomorrow's Coupons…

As I just mentioned in the Sunday Coupon Preview post, there will be a Walmart Beauty circular in tomorrow’s newspaper with manufacturer’s coupons inside! In addition, there will be some high value coupons in tomorrow’s Smart Source insert that will allow for some great deals at Walmart!

Purina stated the smallest Beyond One DOG food they make is a 3.5 lb bag. 1 lb DOES NOT EXSIST. Only cat food comes in 1 lb. and the coupon is NOT for that.
PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MISUSE THE COUPON! I’ve already seen someone try today and i spoke up to the cashier. Lady was mad but oh well.

If you have a Lowe’s Food in your area, I do here in Charlotte NC.. They have the Purina One 3.5LBS Dog Food Onsale for 5.99!! So if you subtract the $4 coupon your total will be $1.99! Little cheaper then Walmart..
The $3 coupons I got in the Schick packages are for the Schick ST2 or Slim Twin 12 cts. These are not the $2 packages of disposables.
They are at my Wal-mart… The coupon is a match!
The schick disposables for $1.97 are ST2 and it is a 12 ct. the $3/1 coupon has worked for me.
If you read carefully, the 1.97 pack are Schick Disposable razors NOT ST2. The ST2 on the package refers to the 2 BONUS razors inside the pack. It only works since the cashier overrides the coupon. The $3/1 is not meant for the 1.97 disposables.
These coupons in the packages for me has been really hit and miss. First time using them, they went through fine, second time around the last two didnt want to go through and then when the managers were called…a few were saying it didnt match because it was a 10 ct with 2 bonus razors and the coupon calls for a 12ct. huh?! in the end they are a 12 ct…does it matter if the 2 are a bonus? I’m gonna call energizer on monday and ask specifically about that pack and the coupon inside if it can be used on it so next time i wont have to argue my view and why they are correct but rather say ENERGIZER SAID I COULD!!! NANY-NANY-BOO-BOO!!!lool….maybe they will trust the manufacturer’s word over a silly couponer like myself eh?
Yeah the value pack isn’t the same as whats on the coupon. The $3/1 is for the ST 2 (or the ladies version). Seems like you’d be accused of misusing the coupon if you went for the value packs .
Thanks for all of your input… I don’t have the $3 coupon on hand, but am going to go ahead and remove this coupon from the scenario since I am not sure if it’s valid.
previous posters are correct, this coupon is for a completely different package than the yellow packages we have been getting for free with the 6/2 coupon. the two bonus razors in the pack are the st2 razors wich is what the coupon inside the pack is for. the other ten razors in the pack are just plain shick razors. the 3/1 coupon inside this pack should not be used to obtain more of these packs with overage in my opinion….wether the coupon “works” or not or wether it has to be pushed through by the cashier. Read the coupon and read that yellow pack of razors we all have. the st2 on the package is referring to the bonus 2 razors inside.
Collin, they are not talking about the $2.00 off any coupon in the paper. There is a $3.00 off any ST coupon inside these packages. The $2 coupon is a good deal. Some people are trying to turn around and use the $3.00 coupon to get overage and that is not correct use. Thanks and sorry for any coonfusion!

Didn’t know that those weren’t the right ones. When I went to use them I didn’t have any problem, worked fine. Should I take them back and tell the manager I made a misstake? FEEL BAD
man, I’m gonna have to try a different walmart for the razors, I still have those 6/2 coupons but my store never got them back in stock 🙁 I want my overage! lol
Make sure they didn’t stop them in the wrong spot. My local Wal-Mart restocked them in a section that said $5.97. Lucky me noticed and snagged a few with the $6 coupons.
If you have a DG in your area that is were I used mine. I got two womens shieck xtreme 3 3pks they were priced 4.50 so I ended up gettting them for like 1.50. Not the best deal but better than what I could find at my Walmart.
And the $1.97 razors are lousy, so better to pay a little and actually be able to USE the produce. 🙂
I know! I wanted my overage too!! My walmart finally got some back in stock but the register wouldnt accept the coupon saying my items didnt match the coupon. The CSM tried to say I had to get what was pictured but I clearly pointed out the coupon stated ANY schick disposable razors. But a no-go. Had to take them off my order and not get my overage :(( so upsetting!! Going to try a different Walmart.
Same with me! Ive gone to two different Walmarts… I have one left to try. Unless the stores finally got more stock in.
my walmart doesnt even carry these razors or the cat food. I have also yet to find the icyhot natureles. And can i say my walmart is soooooo uncooperative to people who coupon. Most of the CSM are very disrespectful. They dont understand thier own coupoun policy, even when I show it to them they tell me it says the exact oposite. Just so fed up with this place
Call corporate with the name of CS and the issue. They should resolve this. There’s no point of having a coupon policy and say that each store manager can change it to their will.
It is WalMart and their store managers have a lot of autonomy to make decisions. Even if it goes against corporate policy. Welcome to WalMart.
The purina one is for dog food only. I have never even seen a 1 lb. package of dog food only cat food and that was at Publix.

Me too…just had an incident with Wally World…CSM said the product I pick was not the one in the picture…WTH…so stupid. example pick any pepsi product with a pepsi pic on coupon and you are purchasing a sunkist, which is a pepsi product…what an idiot…
actually sunkist isn’t a pepsi product,it is a dr.pepper/snapple product. my husband works for dr.pepper snapple.
Collin, what about the $6.00 off 2 disposable razors, will that coupon work with this deal and would we be able to get all that overage? Also isn’t wal-mart really picky when it comes to free (the pop) coupons, i thought they would not take them, or is that just printable or competitor coupons?
I think Walmart doesn’t take IP Q for free product but will take the insert coupon from what I understand from their policy!
walmart take all ip Q as per experience. and yup those $6/2 will work on the 1.97 item. got rid of all my $6/2 but still have $3/2 that came with each pack. and i couldn’t get the right timing as to when they fill the shelve. -lol-
Wal-Mart’s coupon policy is to not accept IP’s that are for a free product. But what is odd is they will allow overage for an IP. I don’t shop at Wal-Mart at all anymore but when I did I found it was nearly impossible to even use a BOGO let alone a free item coupon.

They won’t take printed coupons that are for free items, they will take newspaper ones though

I’m in North Texas and we did not get it either. I was kinda surprised as Dr. Pepper is a huge thing in Texas. I did try it a few weeks ago though and didn’t like it at all, I don’t like regular Dr. Pepper though either.

oh walmart is sooo terrible with their couponers. it upsets me cause i am usually in a rush after class (i study 24/7 literally) and i run to walmart to pick up what i need on my way back home. i have everything planned and when i get in line, it just goes wrong because they do not understand the coupon policy. then the customer service gets mad cause they say: “oh you couponers….we shouldn’t even except coupons because of you people”….you people! what does that mean? its so upsetting and after a long day at med school, its sometimes not worth couponing. 🙁
I carry coupon policies with me. It usually shuts them up when you pull it out 🙂
If you get a cranky cashier who won’t budge, ask her to suspend your transaction and ask to speak to a Manager at the Customer Service desk.
Dont let some mean cashier determine your mood! Keep couponing! btw, i would sooo call corporate customer service and tell them how you were treated.
at my walmart they are super rude too i went when they had the scrubbing bubbles toilet starter kit and they made up their own rules for it with out even trying to scan it first. then i had a shick hydro coupon and the girl with out trying it was accusing me of photo copying it because the barcodes were the same i was so frustrated i just told her to forget it. today i went again to see if i could find the razors with the $2 off coupon i have and i got one but when i get to the register the guy said that since it has +2 that it doesn’t qualify for the coupon that it has to be just a normal pack with no bonus i didn’t feel like bothering to waste more time so i just canceled my order
The $3 off coupon in the Schick disposables packages ARE NOT AND CANNOT be used on the 1.97 Schick disposables. If you read carefully, the 1.97 packs are Schick “Disposables” razors NOT ST2. It just has 2 bonus ST2 razors inside. The cashier has to override because it WILL NOT scan. Please correct your post. This is very misleading.
totally agree! i have seen this coupon misused on other blogs also.
Some people will try anything to use a coupon they aren’t supposed to and then they get mad at the cashier. Go figure!
I think the bag is very misleading. I didn’t use these coupons but I was going to when I saw the ST2 logo on them. I don’t think people are trying to “get away” with anything, I just think everyone is confused.

Has anybody had any trouble getting Walmart to take the FREE Advil coupon we got from the code on a card from the newspaper? I tried to use my coupon yesterday at Walmart because it expires on the 22nd. The Advil rang up 3.89 and the coupon was up to 6.00. The cashier called a CSM over because she couldn’t get the coupon to adjust down. The CSM said that they can’t override the prices or coupons anymore so they wouldn’t take it. Just want to know if anybody else has had any problems with it. thanks
I had the same Advil problem here in Tx too. We only have one grocery store and a Walmart but they are so bad that I end up paying alot more at the grocery store just to save time/headache. We HATE Walmart..BOOO!!!I’ve done calls/letters etc. I just gave up

There was a deal earlier in the week for the Brita water pitchers..I wasn’t able to get one at Walmart, but Kroger has them for 9.99 the 5 glass pitcher..Used my $5 off coupon and sent in for the $10 rebate..still a good money maker and it’s going to be at that price all week this upcoming week. Thought I would share.

The sales person I spoke to said they’ve never seen a size of Purina One smaller than 3.5lbs. The razors at my WalMart are $5.97!
Our inserts didn’t have any of these coupons in them in middle tn, does anyone know who had them? Was such a dissapointment this morning to not see the “previewed” coupons anywhere to be found.

I actually used the $6/2 Schick coupon to buy my $1.97 yellow pack of razors. It’s really not a confusing package. It clearly says Bonus 2 ST2 razors.
Even more clearer are the images the $3/1 coupon. It shows the 12 packs its valid for.
