Rare $0.50/2 Peeps Item Coupon = $0.25 at Walgreens

This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Saturday, October 15th, 2011 at 10:28 am.

UPDATE: If you are having issues printing the coupon, try printing in Firefox as this browser seems to be working better for most readers. Also, you can try going directly to the Peeps site to print… the coupon is located in the lower left corner. (Thanks, Gail!)

Here’s a coupon you don’t see too often! Go on over to the PEEPS Facebook page, “like” them, then click on the “Halloween Treats” tab to print a rare $0.50 off any 2 Peeps Items coupon! With Halloween around the corner, I’m guessing these are on sale at various stores.

And speaking of sales, starting tomorrow, 10/16-10/22, Walgreens will have select Peeps Halloween treats on sale 2/$1, so after the coupon above – you’ll pay just $0.25 per treat! :D

(Thanks, Dayna!)

Thanks! Was wondering if they were going to have a coupon for the Halloween Peeps!

Oh – an ad prints underneath, so stop your printer if you can!

  • Cindy says:

Thanks Melissa for the comments. Didn’t get a chance to stop my printer though. :)

I’m getting this webpage cannot be found when I click the link – too bad!

  • Jane says:

I’m getting this webpage cannot be found just like Kelly.

  • Amy says:

Try firefox…I got that in IE, but Not firefox.

    • kelly says:

I get that this is probably a question that doesn’t belong on a couponing site, but I keep seeing people saying to try firefox or others – is it really that common to have more than one operating system? And isn’t there a fee for that second one? And does that just mean that you log onto the internet by clicking a different icon on your desktop? I guess is it as easy as everyone makes it sound? (Can you tell how utterly unsavvy I am?)

      • melissa says:

there is no fee to use another browser (thats what google chrome, firefox etc are). PCs come with IE, while Apple has Safari. But you can download any browser you want, and click the icon to pull up the internet. I use Chrome, but I’ve come across a few websites that don’t support Chrome yet, I just go to IE to print if I need to.

I was curious, does walgreens send out their ad for sunday before sunday? I was wondering how people know ahead of time what will be on sale? Cause when I get there, the shelves are cleaned out already. :(

Do they send out a preview or something?
    thanks.

Many coupon blogs, like Collin’s, set up their lists earlier in the week for the next week, so often, you can make your own list on Friday or Saturday, and then go shopping on Sunday morning if you wanted to.

    • melissa says:

For Walgreens, you can sign up for their sneak peak ads, you’ll get an email on Friday.
CVS posts their upcoming ad on Thursday on their website.

Or you can ck a grocery forum like hotcouponworld or weusecoupons, they have the ads a few weeks out posted. The only problem with forums is sometimes they are hard to navigate, so I’ve bookmarked the particular forum page, and I can read the posts for just CVS or Rite Aid w/out having to search through the cumbersome layout.

    • Elle says:

I used to work at Walgreens and we would get the ads that we would put in the store about 5 days before the sale would actually start. A lot of people would ask me for the next weeks ad and none of us had a problem handing them out, so maybe ask next time you are in there! Our store just kept them behind the registers.

  • GAIL B says:

If you go to their website http://www.marshmallowpeeps.com/, you can print that coupon off from there.

  • Amy says:

Collin, just clicked on the link directly on their site, and I was able to print the coupon 2 more times! It must be a different bricks link.

  • Julia says:

Is it just me?? I cannot find the link on the Peeps product website!

    • Tammy says:

There are 3 boxes at the bottom of the page. It is the purple box in the lower left hand corner, about 3\4 down the page. It says “Save .50 on 2 Halloween Peeps items. The .50 is in yellow. Here is the link if you need it: HTH,
      http://www.marshmallowpeeps.com/

      • Julia says:

I don’t know what was going wrong with my other computer, but I could not see the boxes on the page. I switched and found them. Thanks so much for your help! Knowing that I was looking for three boxes really helped me!

  • Tammy says:

Thanks, Collin. It worked like a charm. FWIW, I use Mozilla Firefox.

Thanks Collin for all the “heads up”. Brandimc: In Houston we can buy Sunday’s paper on Saturday also. So with Collin telling us, I do have Walgreen’s send the “sneakPreview” and my Saturday’s (Sunday) paper. I am ready Sunday morning to rock and roll. Today I went and got
4 Softsoap,Bayer Aspirin, 4 Arrid deodorants, and a Dr.Pepper 10, Spent $3.45 ( and that was with .99 tax.) Thanks Bunches Collin. Christmas Shopping almost complete. woo-hoo. List is ready for tomorrow.
