Eversave: $25 Target Gift Card + $50 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate for $25
This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at 9:35 am.
UPDATE (as of 11AM EST): It seems that Eversave just changed the fine print on this deal to state that Save Rewards can be earned, but may no longer be used toward this Save; Promo Codes may not be used toward this save.
OK, at first glance this looks like one *HOT* deal as it appears that you are snagging $75 worth of gift cards for as low as $22 $25. However, I want to remind you that when restaurant.com offers their 80% off codes (which they do quite frequently!), then you can snatch up a $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate for as little as $5 (regularly $25), so please keep this in mind before jumping up for joy over this deal.
With that being said, if you are a frequent Target shopper and a new member to Eversave, then this is a nice deal to snag especially with Christmas right around the corner!
Head on over to Eversave where you can snatch up a $25 Target gift card AND a $50 Restaurant.com gift card for only $25. If you’re new to Eversave, you’ll earn $3 in Save Rewards when you register for an account which means you’ll snag this deal for only $22 (Save Rewards can no longer be used on this offer as of 11AM EST
).
Use your $25 Target gift card on anything in-store or online, and use your $50 Restaurant.com gift card on thousands of participating restaurants and venues nationwide. Once you place your order on Eversave, you’ll receive a unique code that you will enter here to request your gift cards and they will be shipped to you for FREE!

I personally HATE restaurant.com gift cards. I find it a waste of time and more purchasing conditions and fees to dish out. So take the “$50″ gift card with a grain of salt.
Contessa says:
I have to agree. I never purchase a restaurant.com gift card but I did redeem my coke rewards for one. Its just a little discount off your bill, but that is nice when you have kids and rarely can get out on a date night (or much less afford to).
Tanya says:
I totally agree with you JV. Restaurant.com gift card is just waste of money and when we use that certificate we have pay forcefully 18% gratuity. Sometimes hubby pays that with regular tip so for me it is overall more expensive than regular restaurant visit.
savedbycoupons says:
On the news here 2 weeks ago, some of the restaurants won’t even take the cards from Restaurant.com. It said that you should call them first before you buy them. If you show up with it and they won’t accept them, you are just out of the money! Word to the wise!!!!! I won’t be buying any!!
Dave says:
We bought 2 gift certificates from restaurant.com and they turned out to be fraudulent. The restaurant would not honor them because they said Restaurant.com sold the gift certificate without their permission. Stay away from this scam!
Anna m says:
I don’t like them either. The requirements to use them stink plus they don’t have many restaurants I would go to in the first place. I have a $25 giftcard and if I use it my favorite restaurant I have to spend a total of $50 (additional 25 oop) just to use it!
Dianna at savingsinseconds.com says:
I’m surprised that you guys don’t like Restaurant.com! We love using the certificates. Even if the minimum total is $50, we use the extra amount to purchase a dessert to go, or a meal to keep in the fridge for the next day’s lunch. I especially love the certificates when we go out of town, it’s a great opportunity to try a fun local spot with a decent discount.
Alicia Pearson says:
I love it too. In our area DC everything cost so much. We dont get to eat out much and this helps save a ton when we do. You can buy 2 gift certificates with it so we will buy two $25 ones that you have to spend 35 to use, So we pay 10 bucks plus the tip which is like 7 for a family of 4. So worth it. It cost more than that for all of us to eat at Wendy’s.
Tisha says:
I have about 13 restaurant.com gift cards that I haven’t used yet!!! I wonder if there’s some kind of way that I could sell them to either of you…. that is if you’re interested. I would just give them to you for $2 each since that’s the cheapest price I’ve ever seen them advertised at.
milly says:
I think that Restaurant.com is good for people who gives tips. I don’t mean anything bad by that. To be honest, if a server is rude and inefficient, she/he is lucky to get a dollar from me, so 18% gratuity is too much added to my bill. Lol.
LJ says:
I had $22 in save rewards, so I got this deal for $3!!! I am pumped. I hate restaurant.com as well, but can’t beat $3 for a $25 gift card to Target! Yippee! Thanks!
Go Get Your "Coup" On says:
This deal is best if you have Eversave credit! Refer your friends and you get $10 Eversave credit, so you could get a very cheap or free Target gift card!
brenda says:

Misty says:
BTW…. after you purchase, you receive a code which you take to another website, enter your info, and then they send the certificates through snail-mail
MalcaJ says:
I have to agree that the Restaurant.com giftcards are not as good of of a deal as they may seem. I purchased some of them when they were $2 each and I haven’t even used them because of the minimum charge, restrictions on the day and time I could eat at the restaurants and all the fine print. But thanks Hip2Save for the info.. always appreciated

My experience with restaurant . Com is that A. All the resaurants are crap on there , which is why they’re on there because if.it was a good place they wouldnt need to lure people in and B. They pad the bill so huge.it.costs.me MORE than eating with NO coupon. The mexican place here.in town i ate with my two girls (toddlers) which normally costs me anywhere else, less than $30 for a meal…our LUNCH was _$67! They charged $8 each for.the girls KIDS meals (which are like 5.99 anywhere else) $13 for my lunch (just regular enchilada plate thats 7.75 anywhere else), charged us $5 for chips and salsa, which i didnt know about until the bill came b/c theyre FREE in every.mexican restaurant in the northern hemisphere. They added a HUGE gratuity, more than the. 18% the tax and it was just outrageous. I almost had a heartattack. We dont pay $70,for the whole FAMILY to eat a nice dinner somewhere. nEVER again. Total rip off. These places know what they’re doing.
robyn says:
The restaurants.com gift cards I’ve seen are really only a good deal if you have more than 2 people, or if you get drinks, appetizers, and dessert on top of your main dish! We never get that much food so it really wasn’t a savings for us because we were spending just as much as if we had just gone and eaten as we normally do.
milly says:
Very true. For us, we use it when we are really hungry. It’s getting more food for your money, but not more money to put in your savings account =) What I don’t like about it is that you are obliged to pay 18% gratuity and sometimes the service is really bad (with an attitude) and I feel bad giving 18% gratuity. Lol.
Kari says:
Another restaurant.com hater… Most places in my area wont accept them. Way too many rules with them.
My3uce3 says:
I used the 25 gift certificate at a restaurant for two people. I purchased it for $2.00. I had to buy $35 worth of food, drinks and tip not included. We spent a total of $30 out of pocket. A $55 food bill for two people! After using coupons for two months, my son ate better than we did at home with his 3 kids. These restaurant gift certificates might be good for people that eat out a lot, and eat a lot. But for us, who never go out to eat for lack of funds, it did not work out so great. Lesson learned, always read the fine print!
My3uce3 says:
PS, the $50 gift card expects you to purchase $100 worth of food. Drinks and Gratuity not included. The Target card wouldn’t even put a dent in the out of pocket expense!
Sara says:
It won’t let you use your Save Rewards anymore
Heres what it says :
•Save Rewards can be earned, but may no longer be used toward this Save; Promo Codes may not be used toward this save
Nicole says:
Cannot use Save Rewards to purchase!
I have $19 in save rewards, but it said I couldn’t use any of them.
Robyn says:
Basically you are just purchasing a gift card for Target and giving yourself (or someone else) the burden of using the restaurant.com “gift card!”
Kim says:
Some women just complain, complain, complain. If it’s not for you then keep it moving…geez! Thank you Collin, for all you do, there are some of us who really do thank you…Blessing’s..
DrLadybug says:
I don’t see any complaining – just warnings about the deal. ???
I too dislike Restaurants.com and, until now, thought I was the only one! Did a local deal and paid $30 for lunch because of the 18% gratuity (which, in this day and age of almost non-existent customer service, is indeed outrageous). Thirty dollars for lunch? for two? We went to the “sister” restaurant in town WITHOUT Restaurants.com, ordered nearly the same dishes, and paid under $20. Oh, and the $30 excluded whatever we had to pay to get the certificate in the first place.
Christine says:
My experience with Restaurants.com has been pretty good. I don’t find very may restaurants on the list I am interested in but there are a few I enjoy. I try to stick with the ones I know and it is a great savings. I think you have to be careful with a restaurant you are unfamiliar with. I always check the menu for prices before I make a purchase. If the prices are inreasonable then I will pass on that place. If a restaurant won’t take your voucher you can email Restaurants.com and they will give you a credit to purchase a new one.
Margie says:
If you are interested in getting this, try going through the deals section of Swagbucks to purchase. It’s a chance to earn a good amount of Swagbucks.
cassandra says:
I bought a restaurant.com gift card ( to use on the web site and they wouldn’t let me use it on one of there 80% off deals, just on one of the straight $ off gift cert so buyer beware!!- it was still a good deal, because I got it at plastic jungle, but not as great as I thought it could be!!
Song says:
Well Restaurant $25 gift card is good, you can buy it for $2.
Here is my tips. Buy the $25 gift card on those restaurant that have $35minimum +18% tips.. (do not buy when it require minimum of $50 (unless you can eat alot).
So easy to order $35+ just order some drinks, appetizer, 2 meals or desert if not enough.
Let say you meal come to $38. then $7 tips + almost $3tax. Which come to $48.
So $48 take out $25 which cost only $23 for the meal. That is a bargain.
