i tried the FABULOUS promo code but its not lowering the price?
I’ve been using my $20 flat iron from Walmart for 3 years, it gets just as hot as the “profossional” models. Wonder what makes this one worth $160 or even $80?
I had a cheap straightenr and since I am Hispanic my hair is pretty thick. It did not straighten well , I had to go over my hair repeatedly and it damaged my hair greatly. It also stopped working after a year. I have a Paul Mitchell straightener that cost me $150 and it was worth every penny since I’ve had it for almost 4 years now.
“Some” of the higher priced models don’t damage hair as bad, they have even heat distribution and sometimes ceramic plates. The cheaper ones are fine if you don’t have brittle hair or split ends, but I know my hair breaks off with them unless I use a ton of product to protect and repair it….so it’s really better to just buy a less damaging iron. I think some brands just overprice because they can, but some of them really are worth it, you just have to be careful what you buy. I got a Chi wet to dry pretty cheap a couple of years ago, you can use it on wet hair, which saves me a ton of time, and really is worth a little more for THAT feature, at least to me. But it’s great if you CAN use an iron from Wal-Mart without damaging your hair. 🙂
I don’t have this particular flat iron, but I was given a Chi flat iron (comparable price to the sedu) for my birthday 2 years ago. I used several flat irons from Wal-Mart/Target before getting the Chi. I don’t know about Sedu, but there is NO comparison between the cheaper models and the professional. I can straighten my hair in about 1/2 the time (I have very thick hair, so this is a huge plus), and it miraculously leaves my hair looking healthier and shinier, rather than dried out. I can also use it to make very defined curls, without it crimping on the end. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my flat iron!

I am a fan of the Chi flat iron, as well. I received mine as a gift for my birthday several years ago. My teenager uses it more than I do. It is definitely worth the investment since it saves on the time spent in front of the mirror!!
I had this flat iron for over 7 years with no problems! I recently cut my hair really short so I sold it on Ebay because I really needed the extra money. But I HIGHLY recommend this straightner ! It was the BEST flat iron I ever owned. Did not damage my hair, my hair was extremely silky (like when you leave the hair salon!!) and it took no time at all to straighten. Definitely worth the money !!! and what a GREAT deal 🙂
I bought a Sedu flat iron from Folica.com a couple of years ago & it works great. I had a Chi previously & it also still works great, but I needed a new one at the time just to work on clients’ hair & decided to try the Sedu. It is very lightweight, but heats up quickly & does the job just as well as (if not better than) the Chi. It also has beveled edges so you can use it to curl or flip your hair as well as straighten without leaving any kinks/iron marks. There is a bit of a learning curve when trying to curl, but not too much. Mine came with a DVD with tutorials teaching you how to do different looks. You can also find helpful tutorials on YouTube from other users. Also, this is a great price as I paid the $129 for mine–but it was definitely worth it! HTH! 🙂

There was no error message. It showed $67.00 as the total. I added my card details and clicked on the button to buy the deal. The next page showed a message that I have purchased the deal and my card was charged $75.00. I checked my credit card account online too. It is charged $75.00. I used Google chrome.

I would recommend Sedu have had mine for 7 years and have loved it! It was worth the price and considering how long I have had it why not spend more initially and get a better one

Sedu flat iron is the best! I’ve tried a couple of other ones over the past couple of years, like Chi and Croc, but I always go back to the Sedu. It is by far my favorite! =)
Just brought this deal. since I joined in new I got a $5 discount. With promotion code ‘FABULOUS’ it did show a total of $67. But my card got charged $75. This is not good. I hope they refund me the %10 as shown. I see a lot of people facing same problem.
