CoverGirl Products = FREE Taylor Swift Items

Wow! Here’s yet another reason to head over to Rite Aid to snatch up some sweet deals on CoverGirl products! As you likely know, CoverGirl products are on sale at Rite Aid this week Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off and when you spend $30, you’ll snag a $10 +Up Reward. And when you add in the *HOT* $8/2 CoverGirl Face product coupons from the 10/2 PG, you have yourself a moneymaking deal! And to sweeten this deal even more, you can snag CoverGirl points when you purchase select CoverGirl items that you can use to redeem FREE Taylor Swift merchandise!

Here’s what you need to do:

* Purchase select CoverGirl products at participating locations (purchases from 8/22/11 through 12/31/11 are valid for this promo). Please note that Rite Aid is a participating location; however, I am not aware of other participating locations and cannot seem to find a list online. I am also not able to find a list of the participating CoverGirl items that qualify for this promo.

* Head over here and register for a FREE membership

* Enter the unique code(s) printed on your receipt. You’ll earn 10 points for each qualifying CoverGirl product purchased.

* To redeem your Points, click on the See Merchandise button. Then, you will see a list of merchandise which you can select from and click “Add to cart.” Once it is in your cart listed at the top of the Merchandise page, you can select the quantity you would like and click “Continue”. The number of Points redeemed will then be deducted from your Point balance.

* Use your points to snag items like the Taylor Swift Hand Heart Keychain for 10 points or the White Mine T-Shirt for only 30 points!

    says 8-10 weeks…so if you took advantage of this right when posted, I guess we should be getting this any time now! :/ I looked on my profile and see that it has my points/codes redeemed. I’m going to email them just to see if I get a response.

      I got the make up brush kit that I sent off the rebate for this purchase today. I’m hoping the Taylor Swift items come soon.

    I’ve been trying to find out the status of my rewards order I placed back on October 3, 2011. I sent a e-mail to covergirlrewards@dja.com, after I called 1-800-426-8374 and spoke with a phone representative on December 7. She told that I would get a faster response if I e-mailed my questions. So far there has been no answer to my email. I’m sure glad I didn’t wait on hold.

    I just went on and it says it will take 8-10 weeks for delivery. So that means it should be coming soon. Mine were x-mas gifts and its only a week till x-mas I hope I get them this week!

      This is the e-mail from covergirl in response to my December 7, e-mail (note I just received this today and the items I had hoped to give a Christmas gifts):

      Due to the enthusiastic consumer response to the program, the delivery of your rewards merchandise will be delayed approximately 8-10 weeks from the end date of the program, which is December 31, 2011. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Rest assured that we are working to send your merchandise to you as quickly as possible.

      Please note: Due to the large number of requests for the Hand Heart Keychain and the Glitter Guitar Journal we are completely out of stock of those items. In lieu of the out of stock items, we are offering substituted merchandise that are of equal or greater value. We hope you will be happy with these substitutions that are of equal or greater value than the original item requested.

      The following items have been substituted:
      -The Hand Heart Keychain has been substituted with the Speak Now Black Rubber Bracelet

      This means I don’t get any of the items I ordered and will recieve some crap I don’t want. What a huge disapointment this has been. I will be putting this junk right in the trash can.

        So, the end date is Dec 31st and we should receive our items within 8-10 weeks from then? Wow! That’s like 4 months shipping…..gotta be the longest I’ve ever waited for anything! Maybe by the time we get it, we can save it for next Xmas..haha….Oh well, happy holidays to everyone!

        I was just about to get on here and tell people I got that same email. Kinda lame that they’re out of the journal I ordered at the very beginning of the promotion and now I get a tour book instead. My niece wanted a journal and now I don’t have one to give her. Oh well. It’s a good thing I was buying the Covergirl stuff already and didn’t do it just for the promotion.

          I feel the same way! I ordered the journal at the very beginning too. If I had wanted the tour book I would have ordered it initially. I also get a black plastic bracelet instead of a keychain. My daughter loves keychains. 🙁 Not a big deal though.

      The tour book is a lousy substitute. I’d rather wait a lot longer for what I ordered than a stupid tour book. At this point, I rather have my points back and order the t-shirt. It’s a shame that Covergirl is getting the blame for this companies lack of planning.
