OK off topic I really need to vent. I was at Target today and some women walked off with my shopping cart with my coupon binder and what I was going to buy. My 3 year old almost had an accident and I had to hurry to get him to the toilet. I know I should not have left it but I was gone for less then 3 minutes. She took the cart then dumped what I had in it on a shelf. The best I can guess someone else picked it up off the shelf and walked out the door with it. I let the manager know right away and they did reviewed the tapes and did nothing to get it back. They knew who took it and let her go without asking what happened to it. I went from aisle to aisle to try to find it and only found what I wanted to buy stuffed on a shelf. They did not even try to go get it from who they knew took it, just let her walk out the door, no questions asked.
That’s horrible! All that work building that coupon binder… I’m sorry this happened to you. Well, she will most likely reap what she sowed if that is any comfort to you. This world is crazy sometimes!
That really sucks!! I am so careful with my binder in stores I have to guard it as if it were my purse. I guess if I think about it our coupons are our money and we need to guard them as if they are. I have a 4yr old and I know all about having to run to the bathroom at the last minute, there really is no getting around that. I made a cover for my binder that has handles and is just like a purse that I can fold together in seconds if need be. I also keep most of my whole inserts at home and only clip a few from each insert and put them in my binder along with my printables and other misc coupons I find. Again, that sucks big time! i dont understand why the store would not do anything!!! she stole from you, if someone would have stole from them they would have called the police, and had her arrested, are they trying to say that you are not an important customer! i would be so upset, actually i am upset to think that they did nothing to help you get your binder back, what if it was your purse, would they just stand around and do nothing about that??? i would go back there and demand something be done, they can reveiw all the tapes, she stole from you and should be punished for that!!
I agree! That’s totally ridiculous of Target to stand by and let that happen…. especially after they went and looked at the tapes and knew exactly who did it, yet STILL chose to do nothing about it. Like Sherry said, to me that says that Target’s belief is that the customer is not important to protect (either the actual customer or their property).

I wonder if they could even do anything about it, you know? They could have called the police for you or something, though. That is just horrible. If you’d like to email me at rnhellokitty@gmail.com with a short list of some of your most-used coupons I would be happy to send some to help you re-build as well! I’m really sorry. I would be devastated! That’s like stealing someone’s purse, really. Pretty low! I would still try to do something about this. Be pro-active. Let the police know what happened and the approximate value of the binder and the face value of the coupons and ask if there is anything that can be done, like the police viewing the tapes as well. Obviously you wouldn’t be able to get the hundreds of dollars worth of coupons back or the effort and time you put into all of it but some justification might make you feel better. 🙁

There should be a paper on the left site with the code if your DVD should have one.

Did anyone else see that Albertsons has Cars 2 for $18.99 but you get $8 off your next shopping trip starting tomorrow? I am wondering if that is a Catalina for $8 off your next grocery purchase. Because that would be $10.99 – $3 printable coupon = $7.99 for the DVD. I am always buying groceries at Albertsons, especially with their Mega Sale right now. 🙂

Darn, I could have sworn I saw a $3 IP link somewhere on a facebook post from another coupon blog. I guess it might just be the $5 coupon from Kelloggs fruit snack boxes or the $5 printable from DMR I was thinking about. Albertsons does have the Bluray combo pack for $25.99 – $5 IP – $8 off your next trip is only $12.99 so still a great deal if that’s what it is.

You’ll receive a code from DMR and you won’t be able to pair the code with the B1G2 promo.
Slightly OT- Has anyone received their $20 Disney Store GC from Rewards yet? I can’t remember how long it’s supposed to take.
Neither my mom nor I have received our gift cards. It shows as submitted in both of our accounts. When the item is shipped, you’ll get an email and the status in your account will be changed to shipped.
DMR takes a long time to ship. I believe the website says 6-8 weeks to receive a physical reward.
Shipping is slow. DMR posted on Facebook that it was overwhelmed by the response to the gift cards. They sold out in less than a day, so it’ll take a while for all of the orders to be processed.

Three minutes later… wouldn’t you know my cart was gone with filled with my shopping item, coupons and reusable bags!! The people at the desk had no idea what happened to it and were not very apologetic.
