If you use the freeprints code it should let you use the free8x10 code also. I did my cards on a different order and everything went ok for me. I’m loving all the picture codes!! It helps with my scrape book lol

  2. Michaela

    Thanks Collin!

I was just coming by to tell you about the free 8×10 too. Looks like you were on top of it – as usual. Thanks for all you do. I have been scoring great deals Christmas! Besides the cards, I plan to use my free prints with some photo insert cards I have. One more thing checked off my list! Yay!

I just came from picking up my cards at Rite Aid. What a pain! It took them 10 minutes to find them – they were just laying on the printer machine (even though the email that they were ready came last night). They didn’t put them in a photo envelope – I had to ask for a bag! Then, she told me it was $3.50! I explained that I had ordered them online with a free coupon code. Then she wanted to see the coupon! I had to explain again that it was a code, I had no print out. She said they only get a message saying what to print and how many! No record of transactions or how much it should be. They said they had never heard of the deal, but gave me the cards anyway, so I guess that was nice. I’ll be writing a letter to RiteAid – are all stores that way??

    • Erin

I had the SAME problem. They had NO idea how to check out. I ended up leaving after 30 minutes…WITHOUT pictures. They made phone calls to resolve the problem and no one knew how to deal with it. What is the hold up anyway? I had the email that RiteAid sent me that showed $0.00. That was my first experience with RiteAid, I can’t say that I will be going back.

      • anne

i sent a comment to their customer service, but i have no idea of it went through. i hit “submit” on their web form and it just took me to a blank version. No “thank you for your comments! we’ll be in touch!” or anything. I haven’t gotten a confirmation email either. Colin – help!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Erin and Anne!!! Im sorry for your frustration and I truly understand how you will feel in this situation. I would like to say that I work at Rite Aid and our computers will not tell us that your pictures were free with a promo code. I would suggest that whomever decides to do this deal if you would print out your purchase confirmation page and they SHOULD not give you any problems. Our pictures just print out with name, email address, ect. with no prices. I again want to apologize for your experience and hope you don’t give up on us.

          • anne

Thanks for letting us know! Is that something they will ever change? It seems like such an awkward way to do business! If that’s the case then sadly I think I’ll have to stick with the other guys. 🙁 (I don’t have a printer!)

            • Melissa

i called my rite aid to make sure they were there and they told me to print out the comformation page and bring it with me when i pick them up tomorrow. I hope i don’t end up having a hassle tomorrow.

    • Carrie

I wish I had known to take my confirmation email with me. The guy at my local photo department was incredibly rude. He acted like I was trying to shoplift 20 dollars of photos from his store. I pulled the email up on my phone for him so that he could read it and even then he must have said “I do not understand why I have to just give you 20 dollars worth of photos for free” 4 more times during the transaction. I would have gladly just paid the shipping to avoid him treating me so rudely. However, all that said… all my photos came out nice and my photo Christmas cards turned out really great! Any future deals I will just have shipped though.

  4. maria

Tried to order, but checkout won’t process. Are they doing away with the code? The code went through, but now I can’t order! ugh.

  5. Kristie

I don’t know if I am just crazy, but were these photo cards supposed to come with envelopes to mail them? I may be wrong. I just picked up my cards and they looked at me like I was crazy asking for envelopes. The store manager had never heard of Christmas photo cards before and like Anne, the young girl just handed me the prints with a package meant for negatives. I couldn’t even put the prints in there. I am ok if they were not supposed to come with envelopes, but I wanted to know if anyone else just got the prints ONLY. I am very grateful for the offer because it is definitely helping us send out our Christmas cards.

    • Rachel

I did get envelopes with my cards but they did almost forget to give them out.

      • Kristie

So I am not going crazy. ;o) I guess I should call another Rite Aid and see what the deal is. I just wanted to see if anyone else didn’t get envelopes. I kind of thought they naturally came with envelopes.

        • Rachel

No your not crazy 🙂 I’m sure you can go back & ask for envelopes or even call first to make sure they have them. It stinks you have to go back but I would think it would be hard to find envelopes for the cards depending on what ones you made. On a positive note I was very happy with how my cards came out, I hope you were too!

          • Kristie

Yes, the cards turned out great! I can’t believe they were FREE! ;o

    • Heather

I did not get envelopes with mine either. I doubled up the order and did one in my name and one in my husband’s name so I got 30 cards total and 50 prints plus the two 8×10’s!!! Some of my prints were terrible looking though. The coloring was aweful! But they were free and those pictures were just for me so I’ll just print them out another time somewhere else. The Christmas cards I got turned out perfect tho! now I just gotta get some envelopes. I think I’m gonna order some green or red ones though instead of the white ones that usually come with them.

  6. Sueor

I went to the store, which is easy to reach, but somehow I’ve got only the pictures, no cards, although I can see the cards on the list of my receipt. Tey even put someone else’s picture into my bag, really strange.

  7. Simone

Colin, can I just say I love you? 🙂

  8. Mandy

I had no problem at my Rite Aid. Also there was a code that allowed me to get a free 8×10 (FREE8X10) too! I was super excited when I got the cards, the 25 prints AND the 8×10 for free. Thanks Colin for your post, LOVE the site!!

  9. northeasterner

I had to rearrange my codes for it to be free (it was 19 cents before that)…but first I put in the FREE 8X10 code, then the freeprints, and finally freecards=FREE! 🙂 These may not be the best quality, but they are great to have extra cards on hand for the holidays! THANKS!!!

  10. Kathy

Any ideas was to when these codes will end?

    • Kathy

AS to when these codes will end.

      • Amy

As with any code, it CAN end anytime. I would suggest using it as soon as possible. ( :

  11. Kristen

Definitely take your confirmation e-mail or a printed order confirmation page with you! My husband just tried to pick them up and they said he owed them for the prints. He didn’t have the page with him (I ordered them at work, and he’s at home), so he left empty-handed. I will be going back by later with the printed order confirmation page (which shows the total cost to be $0.00).

  12. Roger

All 3 offers still worked for me, but it’s a chore! Edit features are limited, and I couldn’t even find edit options for the prints. Note that if your photo has a symbol beside it warning you about the resolution, your photo will likely not be a great photo. So I tried choosing ones I uploaded that didn’t have that symbol, because that symbol showed up on the Walgreens ones, and those photos weren’t that great.

  13. Kathy

Picked mine up today with no problem. They said they had ran out of print paper this morning and weren’t going to be able to fill anymore until Monday.

  14. Penny

Just used these codes. Too bad the prints are available in a few hours, the 8×10 in a few days and the cards in 15 days! I sent them to my MIL in another state so hopefully she won’t have any problems picking them up!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ordered cards, prints and an 8×10 and all for free!!! Signed up hubby so got double!! Took my printed confirmation and it was fine. But I did have to go back and ask for envelopes. But again, it was all free!!!! Thanks for this. Just sent out Thanksgivings cards along with a few pics to lots of fam and friends. Great way to start of the holiday season.

    • Katrina

The 8X10 code isn’t working. Any thoughts?

      • Katrina

Forget it – on their site it says it only went thru the 10th. Just wondering the person who posted before me got it on the 11th? Hmmm… 🙂

  16. Katrina

Where can I get envelopes to fit these cards? I hate that they didn’t come with them. Then when I went to get the 25 prints the store told me the machine jammed with my order in it and they need a whole new machine. She said to re-order it online but now the code won’t work so… the new store needs to call the old store to verify 🙁

  17. CandyForYourSkull

Umm i ordered these the other day. they sent an email and called a few hours later i went in to pick them up and the girl couldn’t find them. She called the manager up to the front of the store who looked everywhere for them but had no idea where they were. So my prints went missing or what? well im upset i wanted those prints but i have no idea what happened to them. Anyone have any problems like that?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also had the problem where i went there and they couldnt find my pictures. I talked to the manager and they said their printer is broken so they cant print it. I asked her what Im suppose to do and she said she didnt know. Worse customer service ever! Ive tried emailing them about my problem and all they said was sorry for the inconvenience and that they can’t change where they sent the pictures. Can you imagine if I had actually paid for this? No wonder Ive stopped shopping at rite aid…

  18. Abby

I was hopeful going into Rite aid to pick my prints up even tho I had read so many bad experiences above. I was sadly let down! For one, I had to hunt down an employee outside taking a break to get any help at the photo counter, secondly the man told me without even asking for my order info that he didn’t have them because the 8×10 machine wasn’t working. I explained that I didn’t order any 8×10’s just the 4×6 and the 4×8 cards. He then walked over to the machine that was obviously not in working order and said he couldn’t print them and that they weren’t done because the machine was “jammed”. I asked what I was supposed to do and he said maybe I could call later but it didn’t look like anything was going to be done anytime soon to me! The worst part is that I received email CONFIRMATION that my order was ready! They should NOT lie to customers if the order is not ready! I was very annoyed and am glad I did not pay for them because I probably would have lost a good $25!

  19. Jennifer

I have been trying all weekend to submit my order online and it wouldn’t g through. It took all my credit card information and when I went to the final confirm, it says “I have encountered an error.” I have emailed rite aid and got no response. Any ideas??

  20. Rachel

At the bottom of the page if you scroll all the way down there is phone #. it’s 1-800-RITE-AID or 1-800-748-3243. Maybe someone can help you by phone. 🙂

  21. nonebetter

I just completed my order & now I am a little nervous after reading the comments I will keep my fingers crossed–thanks Collin!

  22. Angela

Thank you so much Collin! I live in Texas and we do not have Rite Aids, but the shipping was only 2.95, so worth getting the cards and prints! You rock!

  23. Jamie

Just picked up my order and love the photos (4×6, 8×10 and 4×8). I actually had to reduce the size of the photo I wanted for the 8×10. I was nervous about how it was going to look. However, it looks great in my frame! I am however disappointed because I had to go to 2 Rite Aid’s to get my order. The first store said their printer was broken (this is after I got the confirmation that my photos were ready) and it would be over a week until they got a replacement and I should try another store. I called 1-800 Rite Aid and they told me they could not credit my account for the coupon code and I should use another email account if I wanted to use that code. Disappointing! I had to create another Rite Aid ID using my husbands email address to place the second order (since I couldn’t get the first one).

    • nonebetter

Strangley I was told the same thing..the store I chose had a broken printer and it would take 2 weeks to repair. The rep told me I could go to any store to pick them up, I went to another store and was told that I would need to re-do my order and specify that store for pick up. At this point its not even worth it, I did score the My Publisher card deal and I am sure Collin will be posting more free card deals soon.

  24. walkingon

I didn’t think the freecards code would still work, but to my surprise, it did! Crossing my fingers that all goes well at pickup and I get the envelopes to go with the cards.

  25. Dana

Just picked up my prints yesterday- I got the cards and the 8×10 but not the 4×6 prints! I am not worried about it since I really just did the prints to get the cards, but still, Rite Aid customer service beware! The cards are incredible though and the 8×10 is great quality even though one corner was slightly bent- I’m very pleased with the product for the price! 😉

  26. Whit

cant get their website to work for me

  27. Robin

I just finished my cards – and entered the code and it is saying it is expired. Did it just expire today? Does anyone know when the free prints code and the 8×10 code expire?

  28. christy

After my 3rd trip to RA to pick these up, they had finally “found”/reprinted them. But when I got home I realized…no envelopes. And now that I re-read this deal, I see it was 15 free cards…I only ordered 10 I guess? Wonder how I messed that up. Darn it, well, I don’t know if I want to make a 4th trip…

    • christy

Update. I called the store and they said I could have 4×6 envelopes and I could FOLD my beautiful 4×8 cards. Then I called customer service and they told me I should have gotten envelopes, and transferred me to the photo customer service where I was told then that envelopes are NOT included.
Total waste, pretty cards but now I have to make a second trip to a second store to find envelopes. Next time I’ll just order from a single store and pay whatever it takes. BOO RITE AID!

  29. szo

I appreciate a lot that I’ve got many good deals for photos from here, Walgreens, staples,
MyPublisher, Tiny Prints… and the photo printing from RiteAid is the worst worst worst. All the others, quality service are perfect.
So far I still didn’t get the card. I’ve got the pictures though, color looks so terrible…
It’s free offer doesn’t mean they don’t have to take good care of all the orders, right? I think the free offer is suppose to attrack people to go and shop from them.
