Just so everyone knows: I had to call customer service about a problem with my payment and I was informed that they are trying to fix the problem with the coupon code. They said you should only get the 40% off and you shouldn’t be able to get both discounts. I was able to get it though!!

Well, they fixed it 🙁 The coupon code veggiegram no longer works.
I got one order to go through with it, went back to do a second for wish trees, and the code no longer will work.
I spoke with someone from customer service because I placed an order for the two shown, then decided I’d rather have the castle. The code can only be used once per account.
But the rebate says one per household…….How can you send in 2?
It says to include all eligible toys. So from what I understand you can get a rebate for more than one toy, but you can only submit one form.
Rebate states “limit (1) rebate per toy, per address” so you should be able to get $5 per toy you purchase from the list on the rebate which includes the nativity set and noah’s arc set. Note the comma separating toy and per address.
the rebate states that limit one toy rebate per address, so unless you have two different address you could use, you are only able to submit for one rebate 🙁
Does anyone ever have trouble doing rebates when the items are bought on line? I’ve not had good luck with that. I seem to even have trouble when I buy things accross the state line (I live in the KC area and right on the state line) as many rebates now state the reciept must originate from your home state.

according to the rebate you need to include the UPC codes from the package.

Just called customer service and they verified that the code “veggiegram” was not supposed to work with the 40% off and that is why “they’re fixing it”. Too bad because I was in the middle of completing my transaction when the code was ripped away. This was happening because I bothered to call the rebate company to clarify if a rebate would be given for each toy listed (since I didn’t notice a spot to put how much money was to come back if multiple toys were purchased). The rebate company said it was only one toy per address. But if you put in just one toy in your cart, you miss out on the free shipping ($30 minimum to get the free promotional shipping). Needless to say, all this sorting out made me miss out on the deal. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!
Karen, NEVER NEVER call. That is how a deal gets ruined. You will soon learn once you’ve been a couponer long enough. Glad I ordered mine before you called….
What?! She was just trying to know the “in’s and out’s” of the rebate. I love a good deal as long as it’s valid one. Apparently this wasn’t a valid deal and they fixed their mistake. I’ve been using coupons for many years and may have verified this myself. I missed out on the extra % but it’s still a good deal.

Please understand that I didn’t call veggietalestore until AFTER the promo code was taken out of my cart, which happened after I was on the phone verifying with the rebate company that the rebate was good for multiple items (it’s only good on ONE of the items listed–your choice, of course). I am not to blame for ruining this for everyone–they had already pulled the promo and I was calling customer service to get them to reinstate the code I HAD ALREADY APPLIED to my cart!! Also, thank you for assuming that I’m a newbie to coupons (& no offense to those who are). I simply posted to explain why the code was pulled suddenly (at least why I was told) and also to inform about what I was told about the rebate because of earlier comments that mentioned that the rebate may be for one item only (that is now confirmed). I’m sorry that my comments were not helpful to you, but again, I did not blow this deal for everyone. Seriously, why would I? I would have loved Noah’s ark for my son named, Noah!
I’m sure they started to see the influx of sales and noticed the extra percentage coming off. Not just because some called in about the code. I was letting my son listen to a few songs on their CDs and in doing that missed getting to use the code. No biggie. Like you said, you win some, you lose some.

Collin, could you please clarify about the rebate? The way I read it I read $5 per toy on the list but only one of each toy allowed per address. So you could get $25 if buy one of each on the list. Is that wrong? I realize each person is reading it different and a few have called customer service.
