Thanks for posting this deal!!! My daughter has Rio on her xmas list and the DVD is only 8.99. I also pre-ordered my other daughter The Smurfs, which comes out Dec 2nd and got my mom a salad spinner that she has on her list for 20.00. I got all 3 items for 45.98 and FREE shipping! Despicable me is a super cute movie! It does have an “Evil Villian” who in my opinion isn’t that evil but tries to be…and ends up LOVING those kids! Great movie!

Loved Despicable Me. The minions are hilarious! There’s one part in the movie where they’re in the store, it reminds me so much of my brother/SIL/niece. que music Copa… Copa Cabana…. has me laughing so hard, I have tears in my eyes!

agree! not worth the extra cost in my book…maybe for an action movie or something like that but not for kid/family flicks.

I think so too Vicki! My husband claims the blu-ray features are more noticeable in the action movies as well.

I think it might also have to do with your TV. My brother is really into technology and what not, just got a new tv and I can tell the difference watching a blu-ray movie at his house vs the same movie on blu-ray at my sister’s house (on an older tv) The colors are really crisp on his TV.

We have a newer Samsung flat screen, but on the kids movies, I can’t tell a difference. Might be my aging eyes at “40″.

Just ordered my hubby the Lord of The Rings Extended Edition Trilogy blu-rays for $49.99!! So excited…he has been dying to have these and they are listed at $85 on Walmart.com. Before today, I had never seen them cheaper than $70 anywhere, so this is GREAT deal if anyone has a LOTR fan to buy for!

Is anyone else having issues with Amazon Prime? I’m talking to Amazon right now because even though I’m an Amazon Prime member and all the items say they are in stock and eligible under Amazon Prime for free 2-day shipping, all my items have a delivery estimate date of November 28th, not November 23rd like they should.

I ended up buying both Despicable Me for $5.99 and Rio for $8.99. Both single disc editions. I had $11 from Opinion Outpost, so I paid under $4 total for both DVD’s. Great stocking stuffers!! Love having new movies to watch during the cold dreary winter months.
