The Mars coupon in the 11/13 RP lists the sizes of candy for the coupon as 7.94 oz-19.5 oz, but you have it listed to use for the Mars singles. Is there another coupon I’m missing or are the sizes different depending on region?

Thanks again for all your hard work. Love the site!

    • Carol_R

You’re right that won’t work. I don’t think that the December All You coupon will work either since that says Mars Holiday Products so it would have to be one of the Holiday candies the way I’m reading it for that coupon.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn 🙁 However, if you buy the Mars Snickers Holiday singles (which are shown in the ad), you can use the $1/2 coupon in the All You mag! 😀

  2. melissa

No rain checks for Black Friday deals

    • Emily

Who told you that? CVS gives a raincheck on any sale as long as it doesn’t specifically state “no rainchecks” as the Gas Card deal does (no raincheck on getting the actual card, you can get a raincheck for the sale prices.)

      • mel

my manager said they can write RCs, the only problems is some of the items were special order for BF only. And you may or may not find the product again.

    • Emily

Really no rain checks? It says upabove that you can get them? Or does it depend of different stores?
Guess I will have to call tomorrow, cause I also want to know what time they open so I can get down there asap lol

    • Krystal

My store is not doing rainchecks on free items. Substitutions only.

    • Tracy

I just used a rain check this month from the black friday sale last year. I got a rc for every free item last year with no problem.

  3. Roxy

It took me a long time to make my list. And I bet when I get to the store, it wont go like I planned it. Oh well, I will give it a try 🙂
Thanks Collin for spending so much time on all these deals!

    • mel

me too. 1 thing can throw off my game plan, and I don’t have a lot of time to spend in the store recalculating. I want to be at CVS right at 7am when the store opens on Thursday morning. My dh has to leave home no later than 8:30am to get to work for 9. Last year I was in and out in 20 minutes, but I didn’t have 2 transactions planned like I do this year!

      • Nicole

I’m pretty sure cvs is supposed to open at midnight, hth

        • mel

I already asked, and they will have normal hours – open at 7am.

          • Auntie Jak's

If you have a 24 hour store you can get them at midnight 🙂 that’s where we are going lol

            • Krystal

their sales shouldn’t be activated until later though, you’d have to contact your store to find out for sure.

            • Daria

Just back from shopping. Definitely activated at midnight at 24hr stores, I called several to confirm.

  4. Carol_R

The Cepacol coupon link says that the coupon program has ended.

    • beetlebale

      same here

      • Erin

Cepacol was not working for me until yesterday after my husband did a major computer overhaul due to a virus. After that, I was able to print the coupon, as well as some I had already printed on coupons dot com, etc. My guess is, those of us who cannot print the coupon now likely printed it in the past. I remember there was a Cepacol deal at Rite Aid a while ago.

    • Michelle

It just printed fine for me.

      • Jen

I couldn’t print either. Said the program ended.

  5. Julie

The Irish Spring is listed as limit 1 but I am pretty sure it is limit 4. Can you double check?

    • LL

Hi Julie, Yes it says 4 per household.

    • angel

yes the limit is 4 i check the ad and it shows 4 online

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you’re right! Sorry about that!

  6. beetlebale

I’ve never used two of the $5 off $25 coupons. I already loaded both to my card. If I have two separate transactions totaling $25+ will it come off at each transaction?

  7. Katie

I also have $1 off 2 Ferrero Rocher/Rondnoir/Raffello coupons from RP 8/28. Anyone know the price of them??

    • Leigh G

They are $4.29 at my CVS but Publix has them at $3.79 BOGO.

  8. Betsy

I’m getting all of the free toiletry and health care products I can, to donate to my regional food bank. They are way understocked because of the flooding in the Northeast, as they are always low this time of year anyhow.

  9. Annie Moose

The Wet N Wild nail kit is actually a limit of two (per the picture listed just above the deal), so these would be good for stockings for a teen or a Secret Santa gift for a co-worker.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, they would be a great stocking stuffer! 😀

  10. Vanessa Granados

does anybody know @ what time the deals begin, i have a cvs thats 24 hrs….will the deals start @midnight?

    • Sue

Each store is different so you have to call; I have two 24 hour locations near me and one is starting the deals at midnight and the other is not starting until 7 a.m. Thursday morning. It is at each store’s discretion as to when they start if they are 24 hour stores.

  11. nicole

Is the ECB like the RR at Walgreens where as you have to have a filler item for each one? I know at Rite Aid you don’t need the filler items so I was just wondering if I would be able to use all ECB in one transaction? Thanks

    • Sue

CVS is so much better than Walgreens in my opinon. You don’t need any extra fller items for your Extrabucks; they are just like cash. So yes, you can use as many extra care bucks as you care to in one transaction as long as your total exceeds the amount of extracare bucks of course 🙂

      • Janet

Plus, plus for the CVS program. Walgreens wacky system is why I’ve stopped checking their ads and shopping there…too annoying.

      • Mel

So true. Plus the people are much more friendly at CVS. I hate using cpns at my Walgreens. The cashiers always scrutinize them, especially the printables and one cashier ALWAYS calls a manager when she gets a printable.

    • Sara

Agreed! Our Walgreens runs out of stock quickly (normally the day the ad starts). We have tried to get rainchecks and their manager said that we could get the sale price but no extrabucks. Not sure what the point of that would be! CVS is always great with customer service and we have no problems with ECBs when we get rainchecks there. Plus their rainchecks never expire like how Wags do.

    • Krystal

EB (ExtraBucks as they are known…sorry big pet peeve of mine)…are not like RR at all and are much better!

    • Shanshan

With CVS I can still get some of the deals even if I show up at the end of the week. It’s a good thing (and fair) that they limit how much of a hot deal you can buy. For the deals that I don’t get, I get the rainchecks instead, and use them when new $5 off $25 coupons show up on my ECB accout. (Note that sometimes they do NOT notify you about these offer. I found out about my last two “dollar off” offers when I logged into my account.)

      • mouni

That’s true , Shanshan. For the BF sale I didn’t have to go first thing in the morning and I still found everything. Also all the ECBS printed with no problem. Unlike RA. where I often have problems with their rewards and the stock is so limited that you can’t find anything even if you go early on Sunday. BY the way, RA also limits everything now and you still can’t find the sale items. They don’t seem to order extra even when they have sales. They’re losing a lot of business with this kind of attitude.

  12. Suzanne

I am confused – I just called my CVS and they are opening at 7 AM tomorrow so are these deals good ON Thanksgiving or ON Friday?

    • mel

the deals start TOMORROW, Thanksgiving day. They (CVS) doesn’t call it BF ad, just a 3-day special, that starts on Thanksgiving.

      • Auntie Jak's

Gotta love how CVS really tries to help their customers save money the best that they can 😀

    • Suzanne

Thanks for clarifying…sigh…definitely some deals I want but I can’t go in the morning as we are leaving town!

  13. eve

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the soft lips is only limit 1 but the coupon in the CVS mag is $ 2.00/2 . I don’t think we can use that coupon ?

    • mel

yes, you can. Buy 2 @ $4 (the 2nd one will still ring up the sale price). Use the $2/2 coupon = $2. Get $2 ECB back.

  14. rachel

What time would be best to go for the least crowded?

    • Suzanne

Later would save you the crowds but I doubt much will be left!

      • mel

last year, my cvs store was empty! I was there right when they opened, and it was me, another shopper and 2 cashiers. As I was checking out a few more ppl walked in. Then I went to Rite Aid, which was just as dead as CVS. Walgreens though, that store was crowded, but they had some awesome deals last year.
This year, I’m just hitting CVS & Rite Aid.

  15. Pat

I went to CVS today to go check to see if they had any of these deals out so I would know where to find them..my CVS had basically NONE of these items out. Anyone think that they are waiting to put the stuff our for black Friday or should some of these items already be on the shelves?

    • Krystal

Most of the items are regular items and should be out. Otherwise yes, the non regular items are probably being kept in the back to prevent others from buying them before the sale.

    • melissa

I was at my CVS today and I asked one of the girls. She said they had so much stuff in the back that will be pulled out for the sale tomorrow.

    • cpena

Mostly all the item we are carrying are items we do not carry so they are not out yet……no rain checks on most of the items tomorrow because they are not in our planos….good luck and happy shopping remember the ad states while supplies last!!!!

  16. mouni

Collin, the Revlon nail enamel is limit 6 and the Irish spring deodorant is limit 4. 🙂
Thanks so much for all you do. You save us so much time and money!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks, I updated the post!

  17. Erin

I was shopping CVS today and the cashier told me that the Black Friday sale didn’t start until Friday. I’m guessing she is wrong, based on what i am reading. They are open, though. Stock was pathetic on some items. I hope they will write rainchecks. 🙂

    • Pat

Yea I went into my store today and they had practically nothing on the shelves. I really hope the restock for these sales!

      • Krystal

That saddens me because my store is very well stocked and they have plenty in stock as well.

  18. Jennifer

so all of these deals begin Thursday 24th? Do they start at midnight if the store is 24 hours?

    • Krystal

You’ll have to call to find out.

  19. kandie

wasnt there a $1/1 cvs colgate total toothpaste coupon available about two weeks ago that you can use with other coupon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s listed in the scenario, but is actually a CVS manufacturer’s coupon!

  20. Lea

just called my local CVS. they said their sales start at 10pm tonight. it’s best just to call your local cvs.

    • Lea

another 24 hr CVS said their sales start at midnight.

  21. Cheryl

Thanks for all you do. I think cvs has alot more this year

  22. Lydia

Anyone else having no success with printing the Finish coupon? (the HomeSolutionNews website) I put in my info and when I hit submit it just keeps coming up “Problem Loading Page”. I’ve tried several different days and it keeps doing that. Driving me NUTS. I even emailed them and got no help.

    • mel

what browser are you using? I can never print their q’s using google chrome, I have to switch to IE.

  23. Lauren

Just got back from my 24hour CVS and got everything on my list! Their sale started at 8:30pm

    • mel

      way to go!

  24. edy

Crest mouthwash buy 10 dlrs of those and get. 5 bucks!! A lot of the cvs didn’t have angel soft here they don’t even carry it only got. A few because the sale but my store starts there deals thursday happy thanksgiving!!

  25. Amy

i can’t find the breathe right strips coupon on the cvs website. I’m a little late to print here so it’s probably gone. 🙁

  26. Sari

Went to CVS at midnight and pulled off a huge score. (Thanks Collin!!)… Some items were not on shelves, but the employees were so helpful in helping me locate them and even went in the back to retrieve sale items that were not on shelves yet. Ooooh and that magic coupon machine even spit out a 3rd 5.00/25.00. I went in with a 10.00 GC and 5.00 extra bucks and kept my OOP expense under $5.00. That was with some additional items and I walked out with 4.99 in extra bucks :)…. Did some walgreens deals too, but it is so much work… Did get some free Redbox codes at checkout there though and my free photo collage :)… I’m just not good at managing items, coupons, RR… especially ay 2 in the morning… shopping is done though and I can enjoy the holiday with family. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  27. Cortney Van Weerdhuizen

Ok ladies, went to cvs this morning and need your help. The cashier was as sweet as she could be, but due to a recent visit from loss prevention she says, she was way cautious about using a couple of my coupons (that are included above) to make my deals moneymakers or free. She wouldn’t take the $2.00 off Theraflu caplets… Wouldn’t adjust it down. She even said if she scanned it she could be fired?? Also she wouldn’t take the $1.00 revelon coupon from the Walart coupon ad from 10/9 bc she said its a manufactures coupon for Walmart??? I tried to explain that it’s a manufactures coupon that I can use anywhere. So my question is… Should I write corporate bc it’s almost like $4.00 savings I didn’t get? Anyone else have this problem. Collin , your help would be awesome too bc I’ve never contacted their corporate before? What will/ can they do??? Thanks!!!

Oh and NO raincks she said??????

    • Julie

My CVS said they weren’t doing rainchecks on a lot of the free items b/c they were ordered especially for the Black Friday sale. No biggie there really. I’d call corporate or email them and explain exactly what happened and ask if there’s anything they can do, or if they can clarify things with that particular store’s manager. The manager should not threaten to fire his/her employees for just SCANNING a coupon, IMO.

  28. Ashley57

Yay! Got pretty much everything I wanted and only 9 OOP with $30 in ECBs left. My store had tons of stuff left, probably won’t be much tomorrow though! Thanks Collin!

  29. mel

Great haul this morning. Only thing I couldn’t find and the cashier couldn’t locate was the 10ct Advil. Got everything else on my list, even chatting with another shopper and we were helping each other as we were finding stuff! The one thing that was very well hidden were the Theraflu items. Both were on plastic hangers the next aisle over from the cough/cold aisle. The Benefiber was also on a plastic hanger, but it was right next to the other benefiber items.
Oh, and the $3/2 Theraflu, that went through with NO beeps and not adj down! (I bought 1 of each item) But the $2 Benefiber did beep and adj down to $1.49.

  30. Jenn

I’m pretty sure we aren’t supposed to use both Breathe Right coupons at once. The fine print on the CVS coupon says “Cannot be combined with any other coupon.”

    • mel

I asked my store manager (who is super awesome with coupons & couponers) said that just means you can’t use another cvs store coupon with it. Sometimes people get cvs coupons in the mail, and will want to use that coupon with a coupon that prints from the coupon machine.

  31. amber

Just got back from my local CVS….not a thing I wanted left on the shelves…sad times.

  32. Racheal

I just returned from the local CVS. They don’t have anything in the ad marked yet. The coupon machine was down, too. 🙁

  33. nicole

I went to CVS this morning and got the cereal deal but my EB did not print out? What can I do to get this? Is it to late?

    • Julie

Make sure you got the right cereal and size. It was only Total, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, or Chex varieties, not all GM cereals. If so, try taking the receipt back with the cereal to the store, today if you can (and hopefully you didn’t tear off any of the ecb’s). Hopefully they’ll be accommodating!

      • nicole

I had cut the reciept where the EB where and never noticed it till after. I won’t be able to make it down today. The cherios at my CVS where also included in the deal. Had the sticker on it.

    • Jenn

My store didn’t have anything marked yet either, but all the deals were still good. I think it’s better, in a way, because anyone who didn’t know what they were looking for wouldn’t have known they were on sale and bought those items yet. As a result, my store had just about everything I wanted in stock:) True, it is a little annoying, since you have to look closely at the ad to make sure you are picking up the right items, but many CVS employees I have encountered are very helpful in locating items.

      • Jenn

Sorry, that comment was meant for Racheal. I’m not sure why my reply didn’t go where I intended it:)

  34. Shanna

Such a good day at CVS for me!! Got a crock pot (needed one bad), the Quantum dishwashing packs (2), Theraflu caplets (4 packs), cranberry sauce, Klenex tissues and Fiber One Bars for a oop cost of 5.50 after using 10 ecb, $5 off $25 and $10 gc from the spend $30 deal a few weeks back. And to top it off 20.35 in ecb….so final cost FREE!!!! My boyfriend was floored when I sent him a pick of it all!! Best trip for me to date. Collin thannks for all you do on this site, I have been able to save my son and I a ton of money in the past 3 months I have been using coupons. Happy Turkey to all my fellow savers!!

  35. Amber

Went to my favorite CVS at 7:00 this morning and was able to get everything I wanted. I spent $4.00 OOP and came home with over 20 CVS bucks. It was actually worth getting up early this morning. Thanx for everything. I hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving.

  36. Megan

The Cvs I went to in San Diego is a 24 hour but I didn’t get there until I ran a turkey trot. The store was SO awesome- empty and they had an entire display of all the ECB deals right in the front except the wet n wild one. So nice!! And the cashier was super nice and didn’t mind my two transactions. 🙂

  37. Nicki

I was at my local CVS this am at 8:00,,,,when it opened and I had a GREAT trip. I spent $22 dollars and some change and SAVED…drum roll PLEASE………$249 dollars and some change. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!I love CVS…it is my store of choice.

  38. Teri

Can someone correct me if I’m wrong? But, I vaguely remember seeing that CVS changed their coupon policy to where you can’t use coupons on items that are free after ECBs. Is that correct?

I’m happy to see so much red in the match-ups! 🙂 I’m even more glad that they will be issuing rain checks on this ad. Last year the ad said they wouldn’t give rain checks on black friday stuff.

    • mouni

You can use coupons for items that are free after ECBs. There is nothing in their policy that forbids that. That’s why Collin has them as Money makers. 🙂 HTH.

  39. CJ

Had a great time at CVS Wed night! My CVS is open 24 hours and had the deals working before midnight. I got 19 free items and made $6.94 in coupon profit. A few of the items were already gone and I couldnt get to some of the freebies because they were near the registers and there were so many people in line I couldnt get to them. But it was a great time, the cashiers were very friendly and the customers were all well behaved!

    • CJ

And I have $31 ECB left for the next month!

  40. Becky

I Revlon $1.00 off coupons for the nail polish on a display at my CVS and I had save $1.00 on any wet n wild coupons from a few weeks ago I don’t know what insert but it went OK without any beeps. I was able to get over $205.05 worth of products for $6.49 and I still have $35.81 in ECBs for next month. I love the great deals at CVS this week hope they keep coming till Christmas.

  41. Becky

The policy is for BOGO free items not after ECB. HTH

  42. A

I found a coupon for buy 2 get 1 free on mars singles at acme on a tear pad.

  43. kdd4g2

    hello,

I went to cvs today and was told that the $2/1 coupon for Theraflu cannot be readjusted. Even the manager told me that the system would not allow it. I was humiliated and embarrassed even when I took the CVS corporate policy with me. I just wanted to know if I did something wrong or should I be taking this to the corporate level. Please help!

    • Marie

My guess is that it just depends on the store you go to and the employees who work there. I went and used a $2 off any benefiber coupon and they adjusted it down to $1.49 to match the sale/ebucks and I also had a $2 off any size bayer and they adjusted that one to match the .99 sale price. If you really wanted to you could call cvs on Monday and talk to them and see. You never know, they may credit your account and then send an email to that store.

  44. nicole

I got just about everything on the black friday list! The shelves were well stocked and all the free and special items were on shelves upfront. Totally easy and relaxed shopping =)

  45. lindsay

Got TONS of awesome stuff on Thursday morning really early! I love shopping in the store when nobody else is there! It was my second worse experience in my couponing life with the checker though! I was trying really hard to be nice since she was working on Thanksgiving, but she HATED couponers and made it VERY clear! It was really hard! She yelled at me for doing separate transactions, accused me of having more than one CVS card, (which I don’t!) and tried to dispute coupons which were completely legit and I just kept telling myself “she’s working on Thanksgiving. She’s working on Thanksgiving….” Overall, I walked away with everything I wanted 🙂

  46. Laura

It was on my way home so I just decided to stop in and they were almost out of everything. I’m not surprised considering it’s Saturday, but I did end up getting free Kleenex and Starbucks Double Shot plus I had a $10 gift card that I paid $5 for from savemore.com so it was worth going in 🙂

  47. Diana
