I went to Home Depot with it and they took it. I got a very nice Martha Stewart wreath priced at 34.xx, I asked if they would still take the coupon and they did, but half off $30.00. Still a good deal to me! And they let me do two transactions. So I got a nice wreath and a nice tree skirt for half off! I hear Lowe’s takes the coupon too.

I went to Ace Hardware today with the 50% off coupon. Was looking for a Christmas gift for bro in law. Ended up finding him a gift and also myself a gift for Christmas for my hubby to buy me. They had a pair of so cute rain boots which were black and white plaid print for 17.99. I got to use the coupon and get them for 9 dollars which is such an awesome deal for rain boots. Ive been looking for rain boots for a couple months now and it helped husband out to already have a gift for me. Didnt get to use one for the gift for bro in law due to it being on sale already and they said the coupon only applied to regular priced items.
I also went to Lowes and got some Kcups for half off with this coupon.
I used this coupon today at Lowes to score a 7 ft. Douglas Fir Christmas Tree for 12.49! I was so excited to get a very nice tree for so cheap! I’m hoping they release this coupon every year so we can make this an annual event! 😀
I did the same thing too. I swear I was doing the happy dance for getting our tree so cheap. Let’s keep our fingers cross until next year. 🙂
They offered them last year to Ace Members through email – so I’m guessing this will continue to be an annual thing. 🙂
We just got back from Ace. We bought 2 SodaStream Syrups, 2 SodaStream bottles, a Tripod Worklight and a Hedge Trimmer. After using the (2) $50% off coupon and with (2) American Express Small Business Saturday $25 credits (one for me, one for my husband), we spent $12 on $85 worth of merchandise!
I’m curious how you like the SodaStream system! I was thinking this might be good for our house. Do people like/dislike the system? The flavors? Has anyone seen a good deal on this? Thanks!
Wait for a 30% at Kohls…I like it. Its not as sweet as regular soda and has alot less carbs.
The cartridge lasts a long time. We make about 3-4 bottles/wk and had to replace the cartridge after 8 months. The cartridge can be bought at Bed Bath and Beyond with the coupon for 20% off.
We got a Christmas tree priced at $27.98 for $15.21 with tax at Lowe’s. They didn’t want to accept the coupon because they don’t accept competitor’s coupons with a percent off, just a dollar amount. However, they said they wanted my business and I got a manager to accept it for my mom and I. Woohoo 🙂 Now just to make sure it lasts till Christmas! We used the second one to get 50% off some Christmas lights 🙂
I was able to use it at Lowes and Menards. Most people don’t know that Mendards (in WI and MN) takes competitor coupons as well! So I got new garbage cans on wheels – long over-due.
We bought a gallon of paint so we could paint the rooms in our rental! Been waiting to use it and I almost forgot to today. Thanks!

My husband and I went to ACE this afternoon and we bought a 30 inch leaf rake listed at $12.99 (- 50% coupon – $5.00 ACE rewards) for a whopping $2.00 and some change. It was the first time my husband got to witness my couponing finesse and needless to say, he was thrilled!
Just hopped over to Lowes…they didn’t want to take the coupon because it was an internet competitor coupon and not a “real” one. They gave me 10% off my entire order instead, though, which was great. We ended up saving $12, which is almost as much as 50% off a $30 item…not too shabby.
We got a 100 ft. extension cord so we can put up more Christmas lights for only $10.00!
My husband and I went to Ace with 4 coupons in our pockets. We bought 2 NICE shovels and 2 Bona Floor Cleaner (largest bottles!). They let us do four separate transactions. We paid less than $40 for all. The Bona cleaner is $19.99 for each! Winter in Chicago this year is suppose to be bad, so the shovels will come in handy.
Ace offered this same deal last year to Ace Members through a coupon that came via email. We used it on furnace filters last year and did the same thing this year. I printed the coupons.com ones when I saw them b/c I thought maybe Ace might not send them in emails too, but sure enough they did. I printed out and used our emailed one and handed out the rest to people already in the store. You should have seen the look on their faces – wide eyed! LOL Hope that made someone’s day – if they were buying something worth $30 they saved $15 – I know that would have made MY day if I didn’t know about the deal!
Our dog snapped his tie out chain yesterday, so hubby cobbled it until we could use coupon today…never thought I would have a coupon for a dog tie out…LOL!
I had three coupons but only ended up using two and I decided to hand the lady behind me my extra. She was ever so appreciative and was able to get the batteries, she had put back. Big 🙂 on my face.
I do think people appreciate it, which sometimes they are a little shocked that someone would share the savings and do not know what to say- I guess being a couponer I would scream YAHOO!!!!!
I’ve tried several times to give people coupons in stores and they either A) look at me like I’m crazy or B) Tell me they don’t need it even when they are looking at the item I’m giving them a coupon for! Our local grocery store did a triple coupon event and I had $1 off Kraft shredded cheese Qs, which when tripled actually made people like 75 cents. I tried to give it to two people and the first (who even had coupons in her hand) said she didn’t want it and the second person just looked at me funny and told me to leave it by the product (which I ended up doing). I thought, even if they throw away the cheese they still made money. Oh well, not everyone is a couponer 🙂 Glad you could help someone!

Went to Ace first thing and found the trees to be a little to expensive so went to Home Depot and got a nice 6 ft fresh cut tree for $13 and change. Went to Lowes later with the family, found a stuffed Rudolf that plays music, but they wouldn’t take the coupon at this Lowes and my daughter was pretty bummed out. Took her to another Lowes later and she was able to get a Tigger that played music, this Lowes took the coupon plus I was able to pass on one of my extra coupons to a family in the store.
I love to share when I can.

Should have read this thread first about price matching but I also registered mine and mom’s AMEX card for small business saturday (their locations depending on the area count as small businesses) and got at least 100$ worth of stuff for free!

We use ACE all the time but they wouldn’t take the 50% off for the tree we bought. We were told we couldn’t use the coupon on seasonal items. We were really bummed out. We would have gone to Home depot but the drive wasn’t worth it and we love our ACE employees they have been so helpful so we supported our store and bought our tree there anyway. Did anyone else have a problem using the 50% off of seasonal items?

Used my coupon at Ace to get a cool remote control car for less than $10. Gave my friend one and she got a new Christmas tree stand under $10 also. Nice coupon for sure.
