It takes time to get the 3500 point credit. It’s not instant. The merchant has to report the sale back to MyPoints. You can read about how the process works in the FAQs on the MyPoints site.

Opensky is basically a bunch of celebs selling crap they just “loooooove” at ridiculous prices but I did their earlier “sign up and refer” deal and was able to get some free stuff. I would have never spent money on that stuff but otherwise I treat it as pampering for myself. I’ll be sitting this deal out as I don’t want them to cancel my other orders for multiple accounts. I signed up and got the credit….logged off, but now I don’t know how to go back so I can get the 3500 points….. when I go to mypoints.com it sends me to opensky but asks me to sign up…..but I just made an account.
go to open sky, log in. keep that window open, go to mypoints and click on opensky. it should direct you to the regular site without having to resign up.

Well, after several hours of frustration first with only $10 credit, created another acct and finally got the $15 credit, then the site was so slow, I finally ended up getting a cute under bed ornament/bows storage box that is red and kind of looks quilted, but who knows. I got it for $10 shipped after the $15 credit. It was also very difficult to find this item cause you can’t search for anything. Now what, do I get credits with my points and if so, what are they worth?
I signed it up from my MyPoints account and earned $15 credit. I ordered Artisanal Honeys from New England for $22 but came down to $7 after the $15 credit.
However, they charged me $1.51 sale tax. I read previous posts above that people paid just the total without the tax and free shipping. OpenSky’s headquarter is in New York and I am not in NY. I don’t know why they still charged me tax. Did anyone of you pay sale tax for this order?
I did not pay any tax , maybe it depends on the state you live in. Not sure 🙁

It said 3,500 for the first purchase made on OpenSky yet my MyPoints.com account only shows 50 points.
3,500 would almost be enough for a $25 gift card so if they don’t give the points it’s kind of a big rip off regarding MyPoints.com!
Been on Open Sky of an on all day. It seems you have to look through each individual to really see all of the items. not everything under 30 is in that category. I just found a portable speaker system under ANDREW ZIMMERMAN for only 16. So only 1 dollar oop. Plus my hubby can use these and will like. Nothing like getting Christmas done for almost for free!

Cancelled…I ordered on my husband’s name and already received the stainless steel straws days ago. I have made an account for my Mom and ordered those Sprout’s cubies for storage. Just went into her account and it says that order was cancelled. I am on hold calling them now. Please comment under here if you have checked your account & anything has been cancelled.

Okay, I was first in the cue to be able to talk to someone. However, I was on hold for several minutes before I got to talk to anyone. Once I go someone on the phone, I told them my order hasn’t been received, went to check my account/order, and it said cancelled. Gave them the order #. The girl then put me on hold for several more minutes only to come back and say, “I don’t know why it says cancelled.” So, she is pretty much clueless. She has no reason whatsoever. She says that she will send an e-mail to have that order processed again. I am really not that hopeful. I can say that a call to customer service, even be #1 on waiting to talk to someone, was just as slow as their site the day we all spent our time signing up and shopping. Please check your accounts. If you have a cancelled order, I highly recommend you calling. Not a big fan of companies doing this to us each year.
The same thing happened to me. My husband made an account, and I used my $45 credit for a Kath Younger roll-up table. I have already received my stainless steel straws, but the table order has been canceled, and the credit was not restored. I sent an email to customer service, but have not heard back yet. 🙁

Just got my Open Sky order – one of the cooking bags. It is AWESOME! I’m so excited to use it and kinda wish I’d gotten another one or two when I could have gotten free shipping.
Heads up though, I never got an email that it had shipped. The item just showed up via UPS at my door this morning. When I checked my account, it doesn’t have the item marked as shipped either.

Same here. I am emailing Mypoints to see what they say. I am pretty sure the 50 points is just for clicking on the link on the Mypoints website, then the 3500 is after your 1st purchase. I’ll post again when they email me back.

Did you email them directly or use the contact form on their site? I copy/pasted my confirmation email from Open Sky on My Points’ contact form & got a reply in under 24hrs. The points will be avail to redeem on the 5th – maybe you should contact them again?

Most confusing site ever I placed an order yesterday (1st) for 2 cake layer superstores didn’t get a confirmation, got email requesting I complete the order, no link to do so and no link to customer device. Terrible site!!!
