2 Burt’s Bees Grab Bags + Essential Body Kit ONLY $41.40 Shipped ($113 Value!)
This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Monday, November 28th, 2011 at 1:25 pm.
Here’s yet another great deal for all you Burt’s Bees fans (and also don’t forget to try to win a FREE Burt’s Bees product here – lots of readers are winning!
)…
Currently, you can snag the Burt’s Bees Grab Bag ($50 value!) for only $25! Even sweeter, you can also stack the coupon codes EMPFAMILY11 for an additional 20% off AND FALL11 to score an additional $5 off! Plus, all orders over $40 ship FREE. You may want to consider snagging 2 Burt’s Bees Grab bags and this Essential Body Kit priced at $8 (to get your total above $40) and pay only $41.40 for all 3 items shipped to your door!

These grab bags contain 5 full-sized products, an assortment of mini-size products, and some special gifts including lip balm, lip shimmer, lotion, soap and more…. so you are definitely getting your moneys worth and these make great gifts, too!
Side note, I know that Burt’s Bees sent out an email where you can automatically score a FREE Burt’s Bees Sugar Scrub ($13 value!) with any $40 purchase. But if you take advantage of this promo, you cannot use the coupon codes above. I tried and it doesn’t work.
So I personally think my scenario above is better (and cheaper!) than the FREE sugar scrub promo.

I sware every deal she posts I try to get and something is wrong with their sites!! Very frustrating…………………….cyber Monday no fun.
Dawn DM says:
Here’s another thing to add to the deal…I just received an email from Burts Bees stating if you spend $40 you get an 8oz Shea Sugar and Honey Scrub.
Collin (Mrs. Hip) says:

Amanda says:
I happen to love the grab bag! I finally opened the box that I ordered a few weeks ago to wrap and it had tons of goodies in there! Definately worth buying in my opinion!
Carol says:
Last year’s was very disappointing- it had a pumice stone that got dust all over everything, and the “full size” products were all lip balms (I had been hoping for at least one lotion or scrub). The reviews I have seen of this year’s seem more promising, so thought I would try it again. Unfortunately this time, every time I try add the grab bag to my cart, the body essentials kit gets deleted. Then when I add the kit back in, the grab bags are dumped! LOL, think I’ll pass.
Sarah says:
I think it’s pretty hit and miss. Mine last year had full size lotion and body wash, and there was something else full size but I can’t remember what. Also several lip balms, and trial items. I don’t know that it’s worth the $50 they say it is (of course Burt’s stuff is more than I normally pay anyway) but it might still be a good deal to get it for about $20.
Sarah says:
I got the summer grab bag and I was impressed! Trying to order this one but the site is soooooooooo……….slowwwwwww!! I’m going to keep trying, though! I’m almost there!
Lauren H says:
I ordered a grab bag that came just last week and was VERY disappointed. I had mostly lip shimmers and lip balm (4 total). There was also one lotion and a small (baby size) wash cloth. I will not get a grab bag again.
chelly90@sbcglobal.net says:
I bought the grab bag recently and It camed with 2 full size lotions small face towel 4 lip products full size a key chain ring cuticles cream every loves on Facebook smells like lemon small face cream . I feel so so happy with what i got would I purchase one next time yes !
Heather Fallis says:
The site is being so slow, I can’t get it to let me check out.
Destiny says:
It automatically is putting the sugar scrub in my bag and marking it as free…NO CODE OR ANYTHING JUST FREE!!
araaidan says:
But then you can’t use the other codes Collin listed…
Karina says:
I read the reviews and I’m not likening what I’m reading, so I’m not purchasing.)=
Tina says:
I bought 2 grab bags the last time this deal was posted. Wish I could get my $40 back.
araaidan says:
What didn’t you like about them… On the fence myself…
AuntRuth says:
I just got three bags last week. Bought them for my nieces aged 20, 18 and 14. I think they will go crazy for them–and be able to trade back and forth between to get what they like the best. The lip balms are great for teenage girls–two of the girls are lifeguards and they will love the waterproof products. They did not come in the cute bag that Collin is showing in her post. They came in a yellow Burt’s Bee’s paper bag–I’ll stuff some red tissue inside and we’ll have fun sampling the items on Christmas. Last year I did Bath and Bodyworks and they were happy–just shaking it up a bit this year.
nancy noriega says:
The site is really having trouble…
Spartacus says:
Site is sooooo slow…
alysa says:
I just got 2 bags that I ordered the last time Collin wrote about this deal. I was INCREDIBLY impressed! I got 2 full size lotions, a small cuticle cream, 4 full size lip products, a face cloth, a sample size (I think) of day creme, a small wallet and a sample of the baby powder. From my personal experience of looking to buy these same lotions at my Walmart, the 2 lotions alone almost paid entirely for the $20 I ended up paying for 1 bag. Great deal. Thanks Collin.
admonroe8282 says:
It added the sugar scrub for free down below as Collin said but when I try to remove it or add a code, it won’t let me. How did you remove it? Or is it a site issue? Help
Sara says:
Same here, first it said both codes were invalid, so I tried to remove the sugar scrub that had been automatically added, but it would not remove it. Finally gave up because the site was too slow.
Leona Majesky says:
Can’t get the sugar scrub out of my cart! Tried many times. How did you do this? Thanks
Amber says:
I added the coupon codes before hitting 40 dollars, and it worked
mindy says:
i just received my order from last time. from the grab bag, it had two full size lotions, one, res-Q ointment (i don’t know what that is exactly), the lemon butter cuticle cream (which i love), 4 lip balms, 5 lip balms, a key chain wallet thing, tiny little wash cloth, and a baby dusting powder (which i doubt we’ll use), and a sample size day cream.
instead of ordering another grab bag, i ordered 2 baby washes, a mama bee body oil, and a belly balm (instead of this one, i wish i had ordered another body oil).
overall, a decent score, but instead of the grab bag, i’d probably order full size produts which i know i’ll def. use instead.
Rachel says:
It seems like everyone got the same thing in their grab bags
Dawn says:
Res-Q ointment is a awesome product! I first came across it when my son had his 1st set of stitches… its like a neosporin. I LOVE it, can’t have enough of it in my house of boys! I keep a tin in my purse for those just in case situations. Trying to place my order since yesterday…still in process of submitting so crossing my fingers at the moment.
Jennifer says:
The site is running extemely slow. I have been trying to complete my order for about 30 minutes now.
In order to use the codes – add one item to your cart even if it is not $40. Then add your promo codes and remember they need to be all CAPS for them to work. Then continue shopping to add the rest of your items to total $40 if you want the free shipping.
If you add all your items to total $40 the free body scrub will be added to your cart. The only way to remove it is to lower your total under $40 and then remove the body scrub. Silly huh?!
For $40 I was able to get the grab bag (gotten before and it’s not too bad, especially if you are looking for stocking stuffers), full size foot lotion and face wash, full size face scrub, 2 pack of lip balm 2 bars of soap (in Outlet section). Not bad in my opinon.
Jacqui says:
Does anyone know when this deal expires? It is just TOO slow. Five minutes and nothing! I’d rather wait until tomorrow to try again than enter my credit card…
Kody says:
Looks like the site it back now.
Lisa says:
This site is still having issues
Liza says:
Still slow. I tried to call customer service, and they are not very helpful or friendly. According to them, there’s “not much they can do” about the website being slow. It’s just all the holiday shopping that’s taking place. Also, they said the EMPFAMILY11 code expired about a week ago. Again… not very helpful. I am bummed because I really wanted to order!
Kody says:
Expires today at midnight.. they extended it one day according to the email. The EMPFAMILY11 code should be good till 11/30.
Melissa says:
The fall11 code is labeled “welcome to the hive” and I could not get it to work on my computer. I tried it on my husband’s computer with his info and it worked. Retailmenot.com had both codes listed this morning, but now only the fall11 code is listed. They may be changing things on their end after the inital post seems to have generated so much business.
Melissa says:
I meant to add, if the fall11 code was use previously, it probably cannot be used again with the same account.
Jackie says:
I can’t get my order to go through…I’ve been trying all afternoon. Anyone else having trouble?
Kody says:
Today is the last day for EMPFAMILY11 20% off everything. The essential body kit that was on sale is sold out but there are lots more options in the outlet.
Jackie says:
Are you sure? I’m getting an error message when I enter that code.
Kody says:
It may be giving an error if you are trying to combined two coupons
Kody says:
is it in all caps? case-sensitive
Jackie says:
Yes, I’m copying it from Collin’s site above, it worked last night, even with the $5 off code but then I couldn’t get past that screen. Now today I’m getting an error message that reads: Promotion “Employees and Family 20″ is temporarily not available at this time when I enter that code.
Ann says:
Jackie, I had the exact same experience as you. Bummer.
Brenda says:
I have been trying to get my order in since last Monday and it wouldn’t go through. After waiting and waiting it would finally say there was an error. Now it will go through but it won’t take the friends and family discount. i have called them 3 times with no satisifaction. They wouldn’t even offer to take it by phone. I don’t think I will try anymore. Very disappointed in this site.
Jackie says:
Does anybody know if or when the EMPFAMILY11 code expired? Thanks.
Brenda says:
The EMPFAMILY11 ended Nov 30
Breann says:
Just so you know the grab bags are now $20 instead of the $25. I guess not many people are buying them?
