I got the blind side, worked alright, but I cant’ watch online because “my creditcard is not on file” (which I won’t add) and I can’t even look at my library because it’s making me download some “roxio now player” to be able to watch it. Do I really need more junk in my computer or is Netflix just fine????

I have been really disappointed with Netflix. We still pay for it for some reason but they hardly ever have any new movies to watch instantly and I don’t think they have any of these on their instant stream so I think it is worth it:-)

Me too! I downloaded the roxio player with no problem. Didn’t have to enter credit card info anywhere on the site through this deal. I downloaded the movie in the player and it’s 1GB! So I might delete the actual download when the kids and I watch it.

Thanks for the tip! I did the same thing with an old Visa gift card when it wouldn’t let me watch. I wouldn’t have wanted to enter a real credit card number since I wasn’t purchasing anything.

I was able to re-download it to my computer. I exited off the website and found an icon on my computer. Through that, I clicked on Movie Store. Then it took me back to my library and I clicked download now. It is currently downloading to the RoxioNow Player. It is SUPER SLOW, but downloading.

FYI – If you choose to watch it on your computer through the Roxio player you do not have to enter your cc info. But if you are streaming it through your play station 3 it does ask you to enter your cc info.

Can you explain how you streamed it through your PS3?

I can try….we just got this yesterday and my husband is the guru.
The first thing is my husband has it set up to where you can stream everything from his computer to the PS3…I have no idea how he set that up. But if you already do the same thing here are the next steps that we took.
I believe CinemaNow is an automatic option on your PS3. If you go to the TV/Video Services you can scroll down to CinemaNow (you’ll also see things like Netflix) When you select CinemaNow you’ll have to enter some information like your username and password (the one you just set up to purchase the movie) and from there you should be able to see a home page i believe that has Your library at the bottom. When you go to play it it will stop you and ask you to enter your cc info. I did this over the Internet, not from the PS3.
Hopefully this helps a little. Sorry I don’t really know much about these things.

You are not downloading on Facebook. You are downloading from Best Buy’s Cinema Now website, which is a secure site running https:// . My computer also scans all downlaods and everything involved was just fine.

This is not a download from Facebook.com. You are downloading a movie from CinemaNow, a subscription movie site that is associated with Best Buy. The movie is free using a code from Best Buy’s Facebook Fan page.

I have a Mac and was running Firefox. Was not given the option to download, just to “watch now” and then got the “credit card info not entered” when it crashed. Stinks to have filled out all the personal info only for this not to work. I’m bummed!

Nevermind, it worked! They’ve gotten sneaky in that the movies don’t show up to purchase when you search them. You have to click on the rent option then on the next screen click on the link to buy it instead. Then add to card and add coupon code. That works!

I have “purchased” the movie I wanted, but I cannot seem to figure out how to download it to my computer. I am only able to “Watch Now” and then the roxio player pops up. I am on a mac, so maybe this feature is not available for mac computers?
