Wow! I posted this awesome battery deal on Black Friday and I just noticed that this battery deal is surprisingly still available to purchase through 12/6 (or until they are sold out). Just head on over to Lowe’s.com where you can score this Utilitech 30-Pack AA Alkaline Batteries for Only $4 (+ tax). That makes each battery only $0.13! Which is a *HOT* Price in my book.

* Note that these batteries are no longer available for shipping to your home, however, you’ll have the option of picking them up at a Lowe’s store near you for FREE.

I would suggest stocking up on batteries now, so you are prepared for Christmas. You know, when all of those presents get unwrapped that require batteries… and lots of ’em! 🙂

** Make sure to go through Ebates for 5% cash back!

I did the Officemax battery purchase deal; 4 packs Duracell shipped to me for $0.04 after Maxperks. I purchased using my maxperks from a prior purchase, so essentially free.

    • Melody

Did you check your Maxperks account and verify this? They told me I would only get credit for 1 of the 4 of the packs I ordered. The wording was very confusing on their website when they advertised the deal!

      • Melody

WOHOO!! Thanks for posting, because I went and checked and they credited me in my account for ALL FOUR PACKS!! Yay!! I also rolled my other Maxperks Rewards so I was able to pay NOTHING oop for them! Thanks again! 🙂

        BTW…I <3 H2S!!! 🙂

  2. Rachel

Great deal! I got these last time you posted this deal! I know the shipping option is not available but I have to say when I got them they were delivered QUICKLY! I got them before I even got my shipping confirmation e-mail! Thanks again Collin! 🙂

  3. COMama

Don’t forget if you have an Ebates account to use it for 5% cash back. Thanks Collin, this is a great price. Such a great deal & will keep all the noisy toys in action in our house of little ones.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh thanks for the heads up on Ebates! 🙂 I am going to add that to the post.

  4. Amy

    thank you!

FYI I still haven’t gotten mine, they did send me an email saying they had to back order and would be here no later than 14 days.

    • Sue

I also ordered these on the 24 Nov. and received an e-mail stating that they sent them. I never received them so I called them and just received a another e-mail saying that they would be here on the 12 Nov. I am not particularly for one store or another but I have noticed that the when I’ve ordered online from Home Depot the items have arrived as soon as two days later.

    are these any good?

    • guest24

Stacy, I don’t know, but I did get them on Black Friday, and 5 Poinsettia’s for 97 cents each. They say they are Alkaline, and that is what I only use in my camera, so, I hope they are good.I haven’t had the opportunity to use them yet.

    • Amy

My husband brought these home from Lowe’s one day, saying they were so cheap for so many of them. Well the way they worked about as good as the price. They don’t last very long at all. My son was using them in one of his toys and every other day I was replacing them. I think I will just stick with brand name with batteries.

      • Laura

That seems to be the case with most non-name brand batteries. Thanks Amy.

    • Sarah

I bought this deal last year after Black Friday at Lowe’s. But last year it was a 48 pack! I use the batteries in my portable iPod speaker and I use the speaker almost everyday to listen to music while cleaning. I STILL have maybe 10 batteries left in my pack. They have lasted me well over a year! Seems like they work pretty well to me 🙂

      • guest24

Thanks Sarah, That is encouraging and good to know.

I picked these up at the checkout when we were at Lowe’s. Proud of myself for starting to spot “H2S” worthy deals before they are posted. This wasn’t the first. I think they are just fine for my remotes and airfresheners. We don’t use them for intensive things like electronics or toys.

  8. Ashley

We switched our remotes to rechargeable batteries, because in the end it saves you even more money. At Target recently I have seen docking stations for game systems (PS3, 360, Wii) on clearance for 30-50%….

But yea, for everything else we use cheap batteries/generic brand. It’s like with lightbulbs– you get what you pay for!!

  9. Adrienne

I been told more than once store brands like CVS batteries are really made by Duracell. As long as they say “Alkaline”, I’m sure they would be worthy of using in your electronics. I have never had any issues except when using alkaline batteries in devices in which they are too strong such as clocks or pedometers where heavy duty work better so that the motor doesn’t burn out.

  10. Lindsey

You get what you pay for with these…we went through them twice as fast. Doesn’t end up being a good deal.

  11. DJ

I just placed my ordered and within minutes, my store called and said they didn’t have anymore so they canceled the order. ;-(

  12. Amanda

I just picked up mine thanks! They also had a ton of orders placed for them

  13. Gwen

Thanks! I was just going to order a Christmas gift from Lowes and added the batteries. Great deal!

  14. Kelly

    I think they’re sold out now… 🙁

  15. Jerri

Thank you so much, Collin. Really needed AA batteries and this is a great deal, plus the Ebates 5%! My Lowe’s is 5 minutes away so easy pickup this week.

  16. Paula

Just ordered & my store called & told me it was no longer available 🙁

    • Kimberly

Toys R Us has the Toys R Us brand Ultra Alkaline AA Batteries 20 pk on sale for $6.99 and B1G1Free plus eligable for store pickup (to avoid shipping charges!). So 40 batteries for $6.99 🙂 Not as great of a deal as $4 but still a pretty good deal if you missed out! Plus the Toys R Us batteries have pretty good reviews.
*It looks like there is a pretty big selection of batteries included in this deal too, not just AA!

  17. Tyler

Thanks for posting, Collin! We snatched these up to power all of our 3-month old baby’s annoyingly loud, bright and flashy toys! 🙂

  18. thelostpond

This deal is also available in store. I picked mine up the other morning when my mouse died…lol.
They did not have the $4 sign up, but a $9 something and the cashier said they were no longer on sale but I had her scan them (even though she didn’t want to) and they were still $4.
She was like, “oh I should get some when I get off.”
I told her that I hoped they sold out before she got out of work for being so rude.

    • Tiffany

“I told her that I hoped they sold out before she got out of work for being so rude.”

      That is so funny!! HAHA

      • thelostpond

My husband didn’t, but he knows who has the coupons!

    • kidsallgone

      LOL!!

  19. Krystal

I think I’ll stick with my IKEA batteries that are $2 for 10. Not as great a deal, but I know they work.

    • guest24

That is what I usually use in my camera, so I will be anxious to compare w/ these.

  20. Tanya

I’ll get a Lowe’s gift card at Kroger for these and get the gas points

  21. Shannon

I ordered some on Nov 24th, as someone also stated above, and got a email confirmation stating they were being sent out and GUESS WHAT, it is now Dec. 3rd and no batteries… I would have thought I would have recieved them last week. Time to place a call to customer service tomorrow!

  22. MoneySavingLisa

Wohoo!!! Thanks for posting this. We do have a lot of batteries but I can’t turn this down for only $4!

  23. Alison

I just picked these up and they are NOT Alkaline, they don’t say alkaline and I know there is a huge difference between Alkaline and non-alkaline batteries. They are the same price or better at Dollar Tree.

  24. aem

YAY just picked up 5 packs! THANK you!

  25. John

I noticed Utilitech batteries were made in China. I don’t trust Chinese made stuffs regardless of the price. So I buy USA made even with a higher price.
