Just a heads up…Don’t try to sign up in store for a new rewards card & then purchase these the same day. They won’t count the purchase toward the rewards even though they tell you when you sign up that they will. I tried to do that with the K-cup deal that was posted before & they denied my rewards because they said the purchase was made before I registered the card online. They were not willing to credit my account even when I told them what I was told in store.

oh noo I hope this isn’t true. The other day I signed up for a new rewards card and then purchased Energizer batteries. The employee told me I will the rewards back to my card. How long does it normally take for the rewards to show up on my card? I don’t see it anything.

      • Karen

I suppose you could always return the items and then re-buy that way it won’t be the same as your sign up day.

Has anyone gotten their troopswap amazon gift card? I’m really getting worried about this.

  3. michelle

okay so I just logged into my account. I see the battery transaction from the other day. It shows under my purchase history that I bought 2 batteries for $29.38. However I got $0.00. I’m so confused. Wasn’t I suppose to get rewards? I’m pretty sure I bought the right ones because there was a sign in front of the store and they have the same sku# as the one in the post

I recycled a bunch of ink cartridges last year and my rewards did not show. I waited til the end of the quarter and still no rewards. I called them and was told that in order to receive those rewards, I would have to spent that amount in the store. I don’t know if that would apply to this or not, since you’ve already made a purchase. You may just have to wait til the end of the quarter.

    I did this deal yesterday because I needed to order ink anyways. I also used one of these codes: {$10 off Non-Tech Orders $50+ w/ code: 91487154, 31819784, 42279604}
For just over $50 I got my ink cartridge and three 20 packs of batteries, and it should be delivered to my door today! Keep in mind if you use a coupon code, you won’t get the full $12. 99 back, just what you spent. $12.99- $1.80 coupon discount = $11.19.

Can you use rewards and still get rewards back?

  6. Sarah

I wish there were deals on C and D size batteries…

  7. Katie C.

I went through Shop at Home for 6% back (this worked on the k cup deal as well). I also added to packs reams of paper to bring it up to around 60 and then used a $10 off 50 code to make the paper and shipping free! Woo hoo! I have not had any problems with worklife rewards and look forward to a big amount to spend!

    • supercarrot

does the coupon really get applied to the non-rewards item first? at staples, they distribute the coupons equally and so you won’t get the full amount of rewards back, and still have to pay partially for the non-reward item. it sucks.

  8. Iris

Can you use previous rewards to purchase this reward item?

    • Lisa

I was told by an employee that I could in the store, but did NOT get my rewards. I wouldn’t do it.

  9. Lila

“Office Depot® Rewards Certificates are valid for 90 days and can be used toward any Office Depot® purchase in-store, online or by phone”. I’ll pass on this one. I don’t like being forced to purchase things

  10. Laurie

Are there any deals out there on C or D batteries??? I have gotten so many cheap AA and AAA, but I need C and Ds for a bunch of toys we have!

  11. Jennifer

if you read the fine print right on the home page where it talks about the 100% rewards back, it says 2 per customer, per day. Can it be that you can actually do this deal every day until the promotion ends on 12/24???

  12. nil

    $10 off $50 coupon code 91487154

  13. leide

I have the same question, can you use Rewards to purchase items that are 100% rewards and keep rolling your rewards? I know that at Office Max people are saying that they have been doing this for a while and it seems to be working no problem. Anyone has any experience with Office Depot?

    • Lisa

I was told by an employee in the store that you could use rewards to buy reward items but I did NOT get my rewards. I don’t think I will try it again.

    • Ada - Lovin Him

No you can not use your rewards to purchase reward items at Office Depot – you will NOT get new rewards when a reward certificate has been used. At OfficeMax you can roll the rewards on new rewards items. At office depot they occasionally have rebate items and you can use your rewards for those and get the full rebate

  14. Heather

Is this only for AA & AAA, or can I buy C & D sizes? I don’t see anything referencing the 100% back promo. Thank you.

  15. Stacey Fargo

I was told you can not use rewards to get rewards (no rolling like CVS unfortunately!)

  16. Realtorbeck

I purchased lots of kcup coffee and a few other things like pens ect the last time they did 100% rewards. I kept all my receipts and didnt use the products till the quarter ended and my rewards were posted. I got the entire 284.00 with no problems and have used it on a Black Friday wireless printer with ink ect. Love our Office Depot.

  17. Kelly

Should’ve read the FINE print before I purchased all these yesterday. We don’t shop at Office Depot for much of anything, so what am I going to do with $40 in reward certificates?! Have an entire pantry full of batteries? I don’t think so. These will be going back to the store. I thought the reward was coming in a rewards card that I could use anywhere. Ugh!

  18. cdawnt

I’ve never used these rewards before. So I gave it a try in December and got this free batteries deal. How come when I pull up my rewards account it says this under my purchase history:
Total Purchase Amount $55.60, Reward Amount $0. Current Reward Amount $0*? Wouldn’t it be Current Reward Amount $55.60* with an asterisk meaning reward amount will be issued if more than $10? I made sure that I ordered the correct batteries.

    • Amberly

I’ve been checking my account frequently because as of today, it hasn’t processed the rewards (even though I bought almost a month ago). It does say if you go into order history that rewards for prior quarter are processing. Don’t know how much longer we’ll have to wait. Mine says 0 as well even though I made the correct purchase and recycled an ink cartridge too.

  19. Carrie

Office depot did not give me my rewards for the batteries, either. They also will not respond to emails.
