Does Target allow customers to stack store coupons on the iPod?

    • Gllory

I just went, and they will not let you stack Target coupons, like we all know it only can be one Target and one Manufacturer. But still is a good deal. I paid 164.97. I work at target and paid with the Red Card so here is the breakdown…. 195.00 – 10% (-15.30)employee discount- 10% Target Coupon (17.00)-5% (-6.89)Red Card Savings= 164.97, + you get $25.00 back. Which will bread it down to $139.97. FOR AN IPOD TOUCH!!!! Even if you don’t work there is still a decent price for this equipment that anywhere you would go you will pay $195.00.

      • Gllory

I did see some of you did get to use both coupons… I think it depends on the team member helping you with the transaction… I was doomed only one coupon to use :'(

    • Christina

they made a lady buy a pack of gum to do both, maybe try that 🙂

  2. Kristen

Wow! That is an amazing deal on the 3ds and the ipod touch. Wish I could print target coupons 🙁

    • Emilytwinmom

I can’t print the silly store coupons either, but I got the 3ds deal at Best Buy with the $50 gcard. I’m still happy!

  3. mimi

awesome price for the ipods!!! Im heading to go get two of them, they were on my kids xmas list. I wonder if these are new ipod touch with the camera?

    • Charlotte

Yes, it is. I picked on up for my son a couple of weeks ago but only got the a $15 gift card back – bummer. I did also have the $10 GC coupon so not too bad…only out $10. I also always get 5% off cause I use my Target Visa!

      • cathy

Does the target visa extent the warranty on the product?
My chase visa doubles all of manufactures warranties. If someone with a target red card could let me know please.

  4. Meredith

Wow…I just bought the 3DS at Target the day before Thanksgiving. It was on sale for $145 with a $5 gift card. Wonder if I could take my receipt in and get the difference?? Either way, a great deal!

    • Ketsy

Hi! I just went last night and got an adjustment for a purchase yesterday and Monday , so 2 ten dollar gift cards… yay! Customer service said they’ll go back as far as 7 days. As far as getting it for something on Black friday, you’d have to return the item and rebuy it or maybe even grab a different one.

    • Ashley

No, they wouldn’t price adjust that- it’s been too long. If you return it, you’ll get $140 back, but you’d still spend $169.99 (plus tax) so you’d pay $30 to get the new one, and then you’d get $60 back. So, you’d really only get $30 to spend. To me, it seems like a hassle, but it’s $30 of free money.

I go in for price adjustments all the time. (One perk of working at target. LOL)

      • Susie Lichty

you could always buy the new one under the new deal, and then return the old deal…or return the new one with the old receipt. That is pretty much the only way around their lowered price policy, which is pretty short!

      • jiggi

What is this about free money? Stores are continously playing games with prices and why should a consumer does not have a right to fair pricing? If Target offers a product for a cheaper price in less than three months, they should make it whole for the customer. Ketsy go get your money that you or your husband worked hard for and let Target give you a reason to buy from them again in future.

  5. 1princess1prince

Thank you so very much for this deal! Ipod touch is at the top of my sons list and I’ve been holding off on my buying one because I knew that I’d run across a deal like this!

  6. Hailey

This is the deal I have been waiting for! Thanks!

  7. ChefMel

Where do I get the $25 gift card?

    • linda

They’ll give it to you at the register during checkout.

  8. Kathy

Last week I was at Target and tried to price match and use a coupon. The lady at Customer Service was rude and told me they can’t price match and use a coupon??? I was civil but told her no thank you and left the store with out my items. Is anyone else being asked to go to Customer Service for price match and then told they can’t use coupons? Thanks!

    • JV

Oh I had a different issue with Target! Made me upset. Said they couldn’t do the Maybelline baby lips deal cause the total amount in coupon money was a penny more than the item. I was so upset cause clearly she was wrong.

      • megan

I also had an issue with this. They wouldn’t adjust down on the $3/1 sleepwear coupon. My total was 2.99 so a penny difference. I did notice on the Target coupon it said “coupon may not exceed value of item purchased” So I guess they will no longer be adjusting down Target coupons!

        • Lauren

Mine tried to pull the same thing but I simply pulled out the policy and showed the part where it said ANY target coupon should be adjusted down if it exceeds the price of the item.. Then they tried to argue that it had a $3 minimum so I pulled out the $3 off a shirt $10 or more and said, “If it has a minimum, then why isn’t it clearly stated like it is on this coupon?” They went and got the front end manager to speak to me after that (btw, I wouldn’t be going through all this if I didn’t know I was in the right… One of my best friends is a supervisor at a Target about 30 minutes away and she said that the employees were in the wrong) .. So anyways, front end manager comes out, barely listens to what I have to say and just tells me it’s fine… I think he just wanted me out of there lol.. From what the cashier told me, they had a lot of people trying to do the same thing I was.

    • Sarah

Targets policy states that if the price after a target coupon is lower than the price you are matching, you cannot do the match. If you wanted to buy and item that was $125 and had a $25 target coupon, you could not match walmarts price of $110, because the target price after coupon is lower. This should only apply to store coupons though.

      • Kathy

So, it should be ok to use a manufactures coupon- if I am reading your post correctly?

  9. Sylvia

Where do you get the other $10 gift card…there is only a link for one of them?

  10. sheri schultz

There is also a 15% off coupon for the I-pod!!!!

    • sheri schultz

sorry- it is a 10% on the I pod

  11. Sylvia

Nevermind…I see! I read it wrong…just took me doin’ some math, lol!

  12. Brittany

I can’t get the Target coupons to print. Any suggestions?

    • Tracy

Are you on IE or Chrome? I can’t print any coupons with Chrome for some reason.

  13. Mandy

I bought the Ipod touch before Black Friday at Target at regular price. Will they honor these gift cards if I bring the receipt back???

    • Melissa

If they dont honor. Just return ipod and get a new one with requirements

  14. sarah

does anyone know if I were to get 2 of the 3ds and used my gift cards from the 1st purchase to pay with the 2nd purchase that I would get another $50 gift card back….basically can i use a gift card to get another gift card deal

    • Amanda C.

Yes, you CAN do that!!! 🙂 I always roll my giftcard deals. Also, don’t forget to print the coupon for the $10 giftcard when you spend $50….so you will actually get $60 in giftcards. 🙂

    • Tomoko

You might want to bring” Free $15 Gift card with purchase of $150 or more” coupon from “Making Savings Bright Catalog” if you have one. (expire today!)
I just went to my Target and they let me use “$8off$80 or more Q”, “Free $15 Gift card Q” and “$10 Gift card Q” for 3DS purchase! ( No beep! ).I got back $75 in Gift card.

      • Tomoko

Sorry The $15 Gift card coupon expire on 12/24 I think.

        • MAYRA

Where did the “Making SavingsBright Catalog” come out? Was it in a Sunday paper?

          • frostedbliss

Mayra, I got mine in the mail, if I remember correctly.

  15. Jennifer

For those of you who can’t get the Target 10% off Ipod coupon to print – it is also found in the “Making Saving Bright” mailer that Target sent out. That is the one with the child holding the star up to the Christmas tree on the front of it.

    • Kirsten

Is there a way to get the $15 gc with purchase of $150, if you don’t have the making savings bright catalog?

      • MAYRA

How do you get the target mailer?

  16. Pamela

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of gift cards that can be redeemed on one order at Target?

    • Britta

There is no limit. I used to work at Target and had many people who used LOTS of gift cards in one transaction from baby showers, weddings, etc. My husband and I also did the same after we got married.

      • Pamela

Britta, thanks for answering my question. The GC’s are really piling up thanks to all that Collin has done to help me earn them!

  17. Jennifer

So you don’t have to wait to get the giftcards from purchase? Do they give them to you after you make your purchase?

    • Lacey

After you make the purchase. I used a couple last week. They were very nice to let me do 2 transactions myself.

  18. Lacey

About the Nintendo 3ds…I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but just know this screen size is not the XL. We got the XL last year & were so glad we did! When they have advertised these new ones this year, we have found it hard to find actual screen size, so keep all that in mind when shopping. I would rather get a larger screen than be buying glasses for years. LOL! If it was the large screen, I might would buy a 2nd with the deal.

    • 4eyes

As an eye doctor I can assure you that playing video games, no matter what size the screen, does not cause you to need glasses. There are sooo many misconceptions about this but they are just old wives’ tales. You can play games, read in the dark, and sit close to the TV all day and that will not determine/change your prescription. It is all about genetics and how the various components of your eye are put together (length of your eye, strength of your cornea…)

      • Lacey

I was actually talking about the size of what you are looking at. It can hurt your eyes. My eyes will sometimes hurt if I am looking at our desktop computer b/c, due to the way we built the desk, you may sit a bit further away from the screen than a reg. desk. Whereas, my eyes don’t bother me when sitting right infront of my laptop. I have always had 20/20 vision and no problems. We opted for the larger screen so she wouldn’t have to strain to see everything. But, to each his own.

        • 4eyes

Eye strain and “buying glasses for years” because you have been using a smaller screen are two totally different things. It looks like offense was taken to what I wrote and I certainly wasn’t trying to be rude, just trying to clarify a very popular misconception. Of course eyestrain is possible when doing computer work, reading, or playing games but it can potentially occur regardless of the size of the screen or text you are looking at. If you feel better about a larger size screen for your child that is your right and therefore that is what is right for your family, but it does not mean that every child using a smaller screen is at a disadvantage or headed for years of buying glasses because of a video game.

  19. MAYRA

collin if your a red card holder you only pay $161+tax

  20. terri

Is the $25 gift card on the ipod in the ad? I don’t see it anywhere…? Also, does anyone know if there is a gift card given for a bigger ipod…like the 32G?

    • terri

      edited: i see it’s the 3 day sale now…

  21. Carol

Will WM price match with a gift card if you take in a print ad? I know they will on price but what about gift cards with the iPod deal?

    • Tracy

As far as I know, Walmart will price match, but you won’t get the GC.

  22. lizardpak

I just rocked the Nintendo DS deal at my Target.

Paid $103 thanks to overage, coupons and gift cards!!

    – Bought 1 Panko bread crumb, used the $3 coupon you featured earlier. $1MM
    – Bought 4 Curel lotions, used $2 coupons from last week’s paper, for each 2, got a $5 gift card $6 MM

    Hooray!

    • Heather

On the description it says terms and conditions apply to gift card. Could you let me know what these terms and conditions are, please? Thank you!

  23. Jamie

I am SOOO excited!! At 37, I finally bought myself an Ipod, thanks to this great deal!!!

  24. Ashley

Love this! I am excited to go into work today. Too bad I don’t need an IPad because stacking that with my employee discount would be a great deal.

  25. tiffany

My Target stated that they consider that double stacking, wouldn’t honor it.

    • Christina

they made a lady buy a pack of gum at register to do both, maybe try that 🙂

  26. Jenn Freeman Ash

Does anyone know if the white ones cost more?

    • Nickie

No they don’t. they were the same price at my Target.

      • Jenn Freeman Ash

thanks! I live an hour away, and can’t get there until tomorrow morning. They had WAY more white ones left when I called, so here’s hoping they will still have some around tomorrow!!

        • Nickie

Great! I rushed to the store this morning thinking maybe they’d run out, but they had tons at my store. lol Good luck tomorrow!!! I maybe should have gotten a white one… We now have 3 iPods in the house that all look the same! lol

  27. Trish

I wish there was a deal for just the Nintendo DSi or DS lite. My twins are turning 5 on xmas eve and I think they are supposed to be 8 years old for the 3D. (I think?)

    • Brittani

They advise you to be at least 8 to use these due to the 3d possibly messing with their eyes since they are not fully developed, but there is a slide switch on the side to turn off the 3d and use it as a normal DS.

      • Jen

oh thanks for the note on the switch to turn off the 3D effect!…My daugher wants the DSi because when she played the 3DS it started to hurt her eyes, but that is the one on sale these days.

  28. Michelle Haberstroh

Got my white iPod touch this morning for $195, got the $25 gift card, used my coupon to get $10 gift card on $50 purchase and used 10% off iPod coupon found at Target website. So excited!!

  29. Hailey

Can anyone figure a way to do this online? Or is it only in store?

  30. Nickie

Yay!! I did this deal twice today! Asked the lady if I could do 2 different transactions and she said yes. Was able to use a 10% off and the $10 gift card deal on both iPods!!!

  31. Jessica

I got the 3DS and sixty in gift cards! wow thank you so much for posting!

  32. LC

Ok so Colin is saying the total for the Touch would be $140.50 plus tax….but is that REALLY the final total? I know you get gift cards back, which is great, but I don’t consider that cash. So are you able to apply the gift cards to the total in order to make it $140.50? Or is there a way, after doing the deal, that you can go to Customer Service and say “I wanna apply these gift cards to my purchase” and they can do some kind of adjustment?? Either way, it’s still a GREAT deal. I’m just hoping I can actually spend only $140.50.

    • Nickie

I couldn’t apply my GC to the purchase. I used my Target card to save an extra 5% and paid $177 after tax and 10% discount. Then got $35 back in gift cards. I have to go get groceries anyways, so for me it worked out just fine!

  33. Cindy

I was sooo excited for this. The timing was perfect as my husband and I just decided to get my 3 kids the iTouch yesterday. (We were thinking of getting Kindle Fires.). I have twins that are 11 and a 14 year old. Had to have my huband print coupons at work (which he NEVER does) and he was able to get all 3 at once 1 black, 2 white(rung up separately). My kids will be thrilled…it’s what they really want. Thanks!!!

  34. dani

so excited…just got back from target….took both coupons and it works out just great. Now, back to toyrus to return the ipod touch that I just bought yesterday for 199.00 with $20 gift card. Saved about $40 just reading your post today! Thanks Collins.

  35. Lorene

Great deal on the iPods! With tax I ended up paying $152.09!!!

  36. di160914

hi, i have a question. is this prepaid?

  37. frostedbliss

So, here’s my Target deal for the day:
    1. iPod Touch $195 – 19.50 (10% off iPod coupon) – 5% red card + $25 gift card (ad special for this item) + $10 gift card (coupon for spending over $50) = FINAL PRICE $180.78 with taxes + $35 in gift cards used on #3
    2. iPod Touch $195 – 19.50 (10% off iPod coupon) – 5% red card + $25 gift card (ad special for this item) + $10 gift card (coupon for spending over $50) = FINAL PRICE $180.78 with taxes + $35 in gift cards used on #3
    3. Nintendo 3DS $169.99 – 5% red card – $70 (gift cards from #1 & #2 above) = I got $50 gift card from their ad special + $15 gift card (coupon from the mail for spending over $150. FINAL PRICE $104.21 with taxes + I still have $65 gift cards left to spend later.
I was able to do this with the same clerk in electronics as 3 consecutive transactions.

  38. tammy

I got it! Used both coupons and got the Ipod and $35 in gift cards! SWEET!!

  39. Kellee

I was able to do the transaction like Colin spelled out, but I also had a target coupon for $10 off a $100 purchase that had printed out at the register the last time I was there and they allowed me to use that as well, so that made it even better. Awesome! We got two for net total $130.50 each. Thanks!

  40. Jess

So, I went and bought the 3DS today, got the $50 gift card, and then got the $10 gift card for the purchase of $50. Also used an $8 off $80 or more purchase (couldn’t find the $15 0ff $150). However, I did find get a $15 gift card with purchase of $150 or more today at my house. If I go back to the store, will they give me the $15 with my receipt, or since I already got a $10 one from that coupon, would I not be able to get it?????

  41. Davida

Thanks for the great tips! Picked up a white ipod touch today and after 2 Target coupons and the 25.00 giftcard promo i paid 140.50! Yay!

  42. Joydee

Thank you for the info on the sale on the IPod Touches and coupons. I printed out 2 each of the 10% off IPods and $10 free gift card if you spend more than $50. My husband and I went to get 2 Ipods, one for each daughter, and did separate orders. We were allowed to use both coupons and ended up with $70 in free Target gift cards! WOOT WOOT! Thank you again for the post and info, it helped us out greatly this holiday season! 🙂

  43. classicalmom5

Thank you for the post! I went back and returned the 3DS I had bought and they gave me the deal! I saved $30 after the 2 year warranty! Thanks so much!

  44. Kelly Preston

I went to Target and got 2 Ipod touchs just like you suggested!!! It worked!!! My twin girls with sooooo amazed Christmas morning!!! Thanks for sharing!

  45. Bret
