Is a ‘micro relay’ something new?

  • MELISSA says:

There is no Sku # on this coupon

  • Shanna says:

How does this program work?? I’ve seen post about it, do you actually get you money back in cash or in staples money??? Either way, good deal just wanted to know.

    • Rajya says:

You get staples rewards that can used at staples for future purchases. The rewards do have an expiration date and they have to be used in that time frame. HTH.

    • ChristaK says:

Also rewards count as ‘coupons’ against the total of any other special reward offers. (So you can’t use rewards to buy more batteries & still get 100% back)

  • Marcee says:

What if your rewards don’t get mailed to you? I’ve had this happen this fall when I bought batteries. I got nothing back.

    • ChristaK says:

I had that happen before b/c there was a sale or reward that counted as a ‘coupon’ against my total, brought my total below the $10 minimum, which meant they zeroed out my balance at the end of the quarter & I got nothing. Didn’t know at the time. Customer service corrected my balance the first time I had a problem & seemed to indicate it was a normal problem, just call & they’d correct. (I purchased batteries & something else on sale, but their system made the sale count against my batteries total & I got less than 100% back). I had a different problem happen last time I tried it. Customer service corrected it but they said b/c it was the 2nd time they corrected my acct, they wouldn’t be able to do it again. So personally I’m done with the rewards program. I don’t have enough to buy at Staples to roll it & I end up losing money otherwise. The EasyRebates however have always been great – wish they’d make the rewards as user friendly.

      • Tarri says:

I had the same thing happen got like 1.19 back for te batteries because I used a coupon, so I learned to never use a coupon on a reward item. Only on rebate items.

I think you have to go online and print your rewards. I know i have printed them in the past it’s been a while though.

      • Marcee says:

Thank you!! I have over $40 in rewards and now that I have an account online, I can print them! My boys need new backpacks for school, so this is perfect!

        • Lindsay says:

you can also pull up your acct (on your smart phone or iPad if you have one) and give the cashier the certificate number. so that if you print it and leave it sitting on the printer as my husband is notorious for doing, you can still use them when you get to the store! :)

    • Jen says:

They no longer send your rewards via snail mail… They now only email you rewards.

  • Lori says:

If I use previous rewards to purchase this, will I still get the full rewards back? I can’t remember the answer to this.

  • Courtney says:

They send the rewards in your email too.

I bought the battery deal at Staples a month ago. Is this the same promo or can I buy them again?

  • sarah says:

Thanks for the battery and drive deal, this puts over 30 worth of rewards to put towards a 60+ toner in need for my printer. And i’ll have to grab more batteries next week. A great way to get some more bang for my buck.

  • Karen Smith says:

so i got the usb drive and the batteries (1-pack), I had 13.40 in rewards and used them to pay, why did the usb rebate print but not the batteries coupon

  • Miriam says:

You can get better than free. I used a coupon a few months ago on the same deal (100% back on batteries) and it didn’t reduce the amount I got back, and almost paid for the tax. (It was a $.75 coupon). You can use the $1.50 coupon from the paper to pay for the tax.

Warning: If you use Staples Rewards to pay for an item with a % back in Staples Rewards, it will take off the rewards you use BEFORE calculating what you get back, so if you have a $10 purchase with 100% back and use $10 rewards, you get back $0.
