it says in the fine print that the rebate can’t be combined with any other offer, coupon or store discount card… so how would that work??
sorry… I must have been typing when you submitted. LOL I doubt this will work especially if you use any coupons or extra bucks when you buy it. Maybe if you just scan your cvs card it will be okay… i’m not sure that they would check every reciept to see if you used a store discount card.

I know some places have issues giving rebates for more than what was paid. I’m guessing this will be the same.
Looks like you won’t get the $5 gift card if you use any coupon. So it’s not a MM at all.

Well at least for Publix, the coupon will show up as “coupon $3” and so if you have a large grocery list, they will have no way of knowing what the coupon is for so it should work.
I don’t need therflu and not worth the hassle for $4, but i’ve done those before and never worried about using coupons because they blend it with other items.
I think these are a little under $5 at Walmart, no coupons needed. So at least free!
The form also says no “discount card”…. I think that is a CVS card, so you can’t buy the first one with your CVS card and use the receipt for a $5 gift card. No money maker here, but free meds.
Can we use RR to pay for them at walgreens or the ECBs to pay at CVS to get the rebate?
probably not, those are probably considered “store discount” also.
Found these on clearance today at Publix for $3 so it was already a $2 MM for me with the MQ and PQ. I am going to risk the stamp even though my grand total for $40 worth of groceries was only $2.14 OOP. I LOVE Publix 🙂

Is your store flyer advertising all Theraflu items at $4.77? FYI, the theraflu items were ringing up as $6.49 in my store (Louisiana) as well, but the store flyer is advertising all theraflu items as on sale for $4.77 each. Also, the little yellow sale stickers were on the shelves for the Theraflu Warming Syrups and Theraflu Caplets and they said $4.77 each. My CVS staff told me the prices weren’t loaded in the computers correctly so they were having to manually adjust the items down to $4.77 on the register. After they did the adjustment, the ECB spit right out…but I bought 2 items in the SAME transaction. My CVS staff told me the ECB would not print if the purchases were broken into 2 seperate transactions.

The teraflu at walmart 4.24 each we have a 2dlr cpn of one or a 4dlr cpn of 2 good deal and teraflu be on sale next week at cvs and bucks good deal too!

If its saying you can’t combine with any other discount when we scan our CVS cards and the price drops to $4.77 with the sale wouldn’t that disqualify us for the gift card as well?
I have never known CVS cards to keep track of “cummulative” purchases for an extra care bucks offer. Rite Aid Wellness cards will do this, but not CVS. For a CVS extra care bucks offices, to my knowledge, all elligible items needed to trigger the ECB must be purchased in one single transaction. Therefore you could not split the purchase of the two Theraflus into to transactions, as giving in the posted scenario. I also confirmed this with my CVS staff today who have always proved to be pretty knowledgable of how their system works (and who have no problems with coupons, I might add!)
No Sandra, that’s not right. CVS cards DO keep track. I bought one Theraflu, then another right after in a separate transaction, and my ECB printed after the 2nd. Also, I do this all the time with all sorts of offers, especially when one store has very little stock so I end up going to more than one store. It always work.s
