Went to RiteAid this morning and the Visa Gift Card deal is a bust. Manager said they got a notice this morning it was not valid. After paying $105.95 the $20 did not print and they don’t return cards. Emailed customer service, waiting for a response. Out $5.95 for now. Ugh.
I had the same problem today when I went to buy one. They must have “heard” about how consumers are making money with the Visa card deal!! There was a sign reading they inadvertently included the Vanilla Visa card in their advertisement but they are not included. I guess I should have gone yesterday!! So frustrating!!

I had the same problem today. My manager WAS able to return the gift card (twice, since the cashier charged me for a second card when he was trying to do the return). It’s definitely do-able.
I would go back and get them to give you a Rite Aid gift card…that’s what I did with mine. It has happened to me before and I always tell them a gift card was issued to me for it was not my error. You should not have to pay for their errors
FYI-If you received an email from rite aid with a one time printable coupon for $5 off fragrance sets, you can get a free gift set. Some of them are part of the 50% off Christmas sets, a few were priced at $10, so free at 50% off with the $5 coupon. Worked today for me.

Did anyone else have trouble with Rite-Aid not accepting 2 mq’s for the Centrum Pro-nutrients? The cash register beeped and the casheir looked at the coupons and saif she cannot take 2 as it said one per customer. It actually says per purchase, but I wasn’t going to argue as I didn’t really need the vitamins. Per purchase means I could have used one for each bottle, correct?
I had a problem, but it was due to the barcode apparently. Those coupons only had 1 barcode, not the typical one. I can’t ever use coupons like that at my Rite Aid. They always tell me their register wont scan them.
The cheapest vaporizer is 16.99 not 7.99?!?! How Do u figure?
Did you check in with the cold medicines? It’s not a vaporizor. It is a one time plug in thing that it is for. Haven’t made it to my RA yet this week (preparing now) but this deal went through last winter about this time so that is what I am picturing for it again. I hope so anyway because I’d like to pick up two more! Good luck!

Your RiteAid must be like mine – unless there is a nationally advertised price they must honor, all the prices at my local store are usually at least 50% higher than what Collin posts here and rarely is anything a deal at those prices.

Must be regional! Usually, I get the bum deal on regional deals but this time I lucked out with $1 instead of $0.75 as mentioned. Hooray for once! Hopefully, you get some toothpaste deals in your region next week!
Does anyone else have problems with their Rite Aid accepting coupons with only GS1 barcodes? I hate it because I count on using coupons at Rite Aid combines with my 20% off when there are no good sales, and they always turn out to be missing the old barcodes. It’s always only the stuff I really need or the really awesome deals.
They say their software should have been updated in August to accept them, but some stores had “problems.” That’s all I get out of Rite Aid.
the store I like to shop, I never had a problem with the new GS1 barcodes. Then in December, there was an upgrade and any coupons with the new bar code would.not.scan! the cashier said she could not accept them. I called CS and was told if a coupon was unscannable, then it would not be accepted -at all! I even told CS rep it was a NEWSPAPER coupon, not an IP and why should I have my coupon declined when they were able to scan before this so called upgrade. ugghh
When I shopped last week, I forgot one of the coupons was a new GS1, but the cashier (same one who told me she couldn’t accept them a month ago) put it through as taxable.
Hopefull RA gets their act together or I”ll be dropping them like I did Walgreens and shop exclusively at CVS!
Yeah, this just happened to me this week. And instead of putting 2 $5 coupons in as taxable, she put them in as non-taxable! So instead of paying tax on a $0.48 total, I guess I paid on a $10.48 total. My tax was like twice as much as the subtotal! I was not pleased but I didn’t realize what had happened until I was home. I went back yesterday (luckily it’s just across the street from my house) and the manager was not there, so I might go back again today. But is it stupid to quibble over like $0.70?
i used the $.50 off skittles video value coupon today and it took off $5.00!!!!!! The girl looked confused when she was ringing it up, voided it and scanned it a few more times, it kept taking off $5 so she left it go! talk about a great deal!

Corp removed that coupon from the VV site. I guess there was no other way for them to fix the ‘glitch’ of it deducting $5 instead of $.50. It’s ashame, I’ve seem mistakes done like that before and they won’t even replace with another coupon, they’ll just remove it.
I just saw it pop up again on the site and just printed it like 20 minutes ago. I’m sure they got that glitch fixed by now.
was a little frustrated with my rite aid today when I went to use the vick bogo and coupons they said they had to call to see if they could use the coupon on the plug ins b/c the picture showed the full sized vaporizer…anyone else have that issue???? Went back today to try and get the plug in vaporizers and I couldn’t. Said they calld their headquarters and the coupons wasn’t meant to be used with them…Well I bought 2 pediatric vicks vaporizers and got both for $15.75…nice seeing that one is $17.49
Went and got a bunch of these deals yesterday, and everything went exactly as planned! It was my first big RiteAid trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m addicted now.
One catch I did run into was that the limit for the Playtex $1 +Up rewards was 3; not 4. (At least, this was the case at my store.) No biggie, but keep this in mind as you’re figuring out your transactions.
I just went to RiteAid and they told me that I could not roll UP rewards anymore. I guess you have to wait a day until you can use them?????? Anyone else heard of this new policy?
I read about this possibility on another blog, but I definitely rolled my +UP Rewards two days ago without a problem! I did 3 transactions, using old +UP Rewards in my first transaction and new ones in my 2nd and 3rd. I didn’t have a problem (with that…I had problems with other things, but that’s a different story).
How come the weekly circular for riteaid that I have says “sale dates 12/30-1/5”. Does it vary by state?

Hi, i am new here. I love rite aid. I have one question, what does the “1/1 PG” mean? Also i don’t have a printer, where do you guys typically print these coupons? Can i load up these coupons on my rite aid card without having to print them? Please answer i need to save money!! Thank you!
If you don’t have a printer, you’re probably out of luck when it comes to printable coupons because you have to download things to allow the coupons to be printed, which you often can’t do at the library or computer lab. You can still use Sunday papers and add to card coupons. See Collin’s post on Load2Card in the Rite Aid section.

I just tried to enter my receipt for the Oral B and it doesnt give me the credit for the rebate. Collins post says only valid till 1/7 but why cant I still enter the receipt? I cant even find rebate #47. Can someone help me?
