Don’t know if this helps anyone but this is the deal I did…no coupons needed!
1st – Toms Deoderant $3.99
2nd – Kid’s Omega 3 Fish Oil vitamins – used $3 RR paid $7, got $10 RR
3rd – $10 in Nice products, used my $10 RR from above and paid just tax. Got back $2 RR and repeated the above process.
Final transaction – 6 of the Nestle Crunch bars, used my last $2 RR and paid $.34.
The cashier at my wags is AWESOME, he recomends the Nice brand almonds and storage bags (at $1 it’s a great price), he buys them all the time. AND told me they are guaranteed since they are a Wags product so I could just return them if I don’t like it.
My wags had the display up for the omega smart last week, but they rang up $14.99 with no RR printing! I was so bummed. I’m definitely going to get some tomorrow! My kids hated the bioglan (or whatever) burstlets. Hopefully these will be better!
I actually NEVER shop at Walgreens, because there always seems to be some sort of issue with coupons. Decided to go for the Chex deal this morning….wouldn’t you know it….problem! I was told by mgr that they received an email telling them at Walgreens that the coupons in the Walgreens booklet at the front of the store(the one that we are pairing with the mfg coupon) are all MFG coupons and not Walgreens coupons so you cannot use both.
Mgr brought up the coupon policy and I still thought I was right, which I told her, but I decided to not get annoyed at 8:30 on a Sunday morning so I left. Went to the Walgreens right down the block…..no problem!!
Was I right in stating coupons in the Walgreens January booklet at the front of the store are STORE coupons and not MFG coupons?
This is why I shop at CVS! I NEVER have a problem there!

you are right they are not MFG coupons.. and no where on them do they state that they are.. they state they are Walgreen in-store coupons.
They are store coupons. However, I think the confusion comes in because of how they show up on your receipt. If you look, they do show as ‘MFG’ on your receipt, even though they are a store coupon. I noticed the periodic WAGS coupons that come in the Sunday paper, like the $0.60 off Jello one from not too long ago, also shows up as a MFG on the receipts.
Walgreens told me the same thing. They said that corporate sent an email saying they have to consider those MQ and they aren’t allowed to stack.
Well I just posted on all the problems I had at my local Walgreens.. It seems when it comes to coupons they turn on the FLIP OFF switch… I have done everything from talk to the Managers to explaining how it works to the sales clerks… It got to the point were I don’t even go there any more. They all me to combine the coupons, “Yes,” but they always have some excuse why the manufactures coupon doesn’t work with their coupon everything from Im not doing right to misreading the coupons and saying I got the wrong brand the word “Any” on coupons for Walgreens means get the most expensive brand. Which I finally told them to put the merchandise back and I went to CVS…

Someone posted on FB that the Neutrogena deal doesnt work because your final price has to be $30 after coupons for the rebate. Any verification on this? I need my facewash!! HAHAHA!
It does say that on the rebate form.
Also there’s a limit on the coupon. I think it says limit 1 coupon per customer/transaction so I can see them denying the rebate assuming Walgreens even accepts multiple coupons.

OK all the J&J coupons that I have printed (5 or 6 of them from different sites over the last month or so) all exclude travel and first aid kits.
I am wondering if I should keep digging through my stack (I have been slacking at organizing my printed coupons) or if these by chance are the coupons that printed from the link above and it might have been over looked.

That’s actually just another link to Smartsource coupon database. There is a limit only two per prints.
Yes it is smartsource but I got to print 2 coupons from each page, smartsource.com and healthyessentials.com..Was I not suppose to be able to print from both pages?? Was it a fluke deal?
Actually my J&J coupon from smartsource had exclusions of no first aid kits BUT the J&J from healthyessentials.com did not have any exclusions.
I missed out the last time they had these for cheap so I am SUPER excited to get them cheap! I throw them in each of our cars. 🙂
I wonder if discounts means the sale price of the product. If we use RR to get the products it just doesn’t seem right that you have to deduct the RR from the total?

went to walgreens they had the rembrandt toothpast bogo so i got 4 retail value 6.99 each with my 2 $5 off 2 coupons i ended up paying 6.99 for all 4. Better than CVS i think bc it was instand savings didnt have to get a $10 cvs gift card when i spend 30$

Why is it that my walgreens has almost none of these deals! I went there to get some treats for the kids since the site here said 4/$6 and got there to find it was 2/$6. Even after coupons I would have paid $2.34 per bag, which its cheaper at Target w/out a coupon for that price! I’m not liking Walgreens, but its fun to watch them get irritated when I walk out with free items or pay less than a dollar for $20 worth of items! They get me sometimes, but I’m learning!
Dont worry my Walgreens is worse as a matter fact when I asked them how the RR works and how I can get back some in store savings like at CVS.. They got mad and said we are not CVS what you see is what you get!!!!!!??????!!!! I have tried, and tried, and every time I spen from 40.00 to 50.00 and I see signs everywhere like buy this get 10.00 RR and when the sales is done and I pay and I ask for my RRs why they didn’t kick… THey say I didn’t do it right… The managers rather give me my money back then allow me to proclaim a sale.
@Becky- just because they don’t have the sale signs up on the products doesn’t mean they’re not honoring the deal. My local walgreens never gets the weekly sale signs up- its cuz they’re lazy or something cuz its EVERY week! I don’t even worry about it- if they have the ad in their store they have to honor those prices- so if your weekly ad is displayed/available to pick up IN STORE then don’t worry about the prices- you will get them.
And @Alicia- there is no Chex coupon in any ad. The .60/1 coupon is available on a website, and the $1/4 coupon is in the January coupon book. Some of you need to read Collin’s posts better because you always ask questions that have the answers right in the posts! Sorry, just sayin’! LOL
Our add is different also. Chex here is 2/$6 with no RR back. Half the coupons that I’ve seen aren’t in it. Lol, I suggested to my other half we move towns. Lol

Which coupons in it are you talking about? And the RR for the Chex is NOT a Walgreens deal- it is a Catalina reward offered on Coupon Network. At my walgreens in New Orleans, Loreal Pro Vive is on clearance for $1.29. I purchased a shampoo and conditioner; used $2 off from the January Coupon Booklet; and used (2) $1 off coupons I printed from lorealparisusa.com. The $2 off coupon is reduced to $2.58, but the overage was $2!

I went today, and I was told the ad must have been misprinted. The box has no bar code, so they said it must be for two individual things of lotion. I was bummed. I read that some people have been able to buy the entire pack. I guess the stores are starting to catch on.

When you buy the Tylenol Precise patches, it spits out a $2 off Thermacare coupon. My friend at Walgreens tells me that next week, the Thermacare will be $2.49 with a $2.49 RR making them free, but if you use your $2 coupon, these will be a $2 moneymaker!!

Im very disappointed because we only have two Walgreens here in San Marcos, Tx. and it seems like the min. they see a coupon they flip or they don’t know how to work it.. I have gone from the Managers whom are the worst through diffrent types of sales clerks who can’t seem to figure out overages, sales, and combine coupons.. Any idea whom else I can talk to in Walgreens regarding this. Its sad because it seems most people are afraid to go in their and shop.. I thought it was just me.. But I hear the same complaints from everyone else.
I live in San Marcos and the managers and cashiers are all hlepfull to me. I suggest you get to know the cosmetic ladys they are who I deal with the most.

Well no I take that back I have spoken to two manager at Walgreens and I can’t say they were nice… What they really lack is care for their customer….One sales clerk made a mistake and the manager I don’t know who she is came and corrected and when I asked her kindly for suggestions gave me none but offered my money back which I took the money but she was pretty cold and repressed… The other manager there asked me on two occassions as I was coupon bargaining and I quote, ” What do you want now?” or “What are you looking at now?” So maybe when you went it was on a good day for them but I live close by and several people have told me they have had the same issues regarding Scincere customer care… As a matter of fact most of us on this location just option to go to CVS and if you notice CVS is always packed…. Because of their great customer care..
Cvs cashiers are nicer. The wags on craddock is worse than by heb. The one in kyle is the best. I usually just deal with the cosmetic cashiers, managers only come for a void or to approve a couopon manual entry. They always seem busy and a little annoyed by couponers but I just kill em with kindness and they are polite after that.
