Wow!  I’ve received quite a few emails from readers letting me know about the great deal they’ve been able to score on All detergent at CVS this week.  It appears that a couple varieties of the All laundry detergent are ringing up for only $2 and are part of the CVS CashCard promotion this week, which means that you can score one *HOT* deal.  Here’s how…

Wow. Sounds like a great deal. Too bad I only have 1 newspaper subscription.

    • Laura

You have to have 7 newspapers to do this deal. How many people get that many?!

      • Shannon

I have one subscription, but buy 3 more, sometimes 4 on Sundays. Also, you’ll be surprised how, even if you don’t buy more papers, how quickly they can add up. Internet, All You magazine, friends give coupons. I don’t have 7 All coupons either, but this would be a good deal!

        • Tammy

I didn’t buy 7 papers, I bought 4. But we get the redplum in the mail and my neighbors toss them, so I ended up with 15 more

          • LisaR

HeeHee me too!! I have at least 20-25 RP’s every week!! I hit the Aprt. Complex too for them at the mailbox garbage can!! People throw out the Whole HM inserts!!!

      • Sam

I usually buy my coupons from e bay. all you have to do is pay a couple of dollars for 20 of them. Awesome deal.

    • Alea

Most stores (and coupon terms) only allow you to use four like coupons per transaction – so you wouldn’t be able to buy 7 ALL detergents in one transaction anyways. *shrugs*

      • Maggie

CVS tracks your spending toward these promotions, and carries them over multiple transactions during the promotion period. You could buy all the items one at a time and at as many CVS stores as you wanted. It all goes to the CVS card number tied to you account, and as soon as you complete the promotion requirements you get your $10 cash card at checkout.

      • mel

well, there’s nothing in the terms & conditions on this particular coupon regarding limits per transaction. But yeah, some stores do limit quantity. Fortunatly, the CVS I shop is pretty cool with being able to use multiple coupons (of coarse, within the limitations of the coupon) so I didn’t have a problem using my 8 coupons.

      • Tammy

These coupons do not limit to 4 per transaction

    • Dani

I bought 12 papers this week because I am teaching. But I kept 8 for myself. Thank you.

  2. ketsy

People order the separate coupons online is this case 10 cents each for it being worth a dollar. Even if you dont have them, you still could get all these tems for around 7 bucks which is still great, if you find them 😀

  3. Kelly

    Got the All last night!

Laura- I get one delivered to my house, one from work and then depending on the coupons I get a few extra papers from CVS or a box. The paper is only $1 by my inlaws so It’s not to bad to buy a few extra. For the finish deal this week I bought the extras on EBay.

    • rita

what finish deal? thank you !! missed that?

      • Kelly

They are on sale for $3.50, there was a coupon in the paper for $2.15 off, and they are included in the gift card promo!

        • Stella

Did your Finish coupons beep at the register? The wording on the one in my paper was sightly confusing – it’s not really clear if it’s only good on 25 ct. or higher.

          • Susan S.

NO problems with Finish coupons @ my CVS – NO beeps. I bought the 20 ct. GelPacs. I interpreted the coupon as buy either Quantum 25 count or higher; OR ANY powerball or gelpac. And packs of 10 or 15 ct. not included (CVS carries the 10 pk of the Quantum).

            HTH!

  4. Tammy

I found lots of toys at 90 percent off! Included 5 packs of sally hansen nail colors, transformers, hot wheels…

    • Tammi

My CVS had toys 75% off, but I still got some great deals! Big Hot Wheels car that was originally $19.99 down to $4.99, $2.49 for small remote control cars, $7.49 from $29.99 for a big remote control car. My favorite find was 12 pack of Squinkies for only $3.25!

      • Maria

I got the squinkies fot $3.25 too! That was my fav deal as wekk. I’m going to be using those as behavior incentives for my kids! 🙂 Also got a Transformer pack for $5 down from $20. Even a pack of 1 red and 1 green Sharpies was only $1.09!

  5. Juliana

what zip code do i use for the All detergent? my zip isn’t showing that coupon

    • Shannon

I don’t think there is one for All, it’s for the Rembrandt.

    • joanna

      i don’t it’s still available. i print it a few weeks back.

    • Tammy

it was in the Redplum from 1/1

  6. joanna

i have 2 newspaper and print 2 in computer for all detergent but it’s very impossible to get 7 all in one cvs. i went to three cvs today only 1 was selling the all the rings $2. and only 4 in stock. the other all rings at $4. so if you have the patience to drive all cvs branches in your area, hehehe good luck!

  7. ketsy

I have an all coupon for 0.75/1 on the 12/4 rp check your papers 😀

  8. misty

I think the math may be off on this?

    • Mandi

Misty I think you are correct, I think Collin might have deducted the B1G1 stayfree coupon twice but that is still a good deal to me 🙂

    • Lara

I agree- it only adds up if 2 satyfree equals $4.49. If they are each $4.49, then that makes the total $39.94 before coupons and $18.96 after. Am I missing something?

      • Maggie

I agree. I don’t see how this works out for free. Buying 4 stayfree and getting two of them free still means paying $8.98, then $1 per All is $7, then 2.98 oop for Rembrant. After the $10 cash card, I still come up with $8.96 oop.
I am notorious for math goofs since I tend to transpose #s, but my math matches yours, so I feel a tad confident.

    • Sue

I agree, unless I’m missing something.
      4×4.49 +7×2.00 +2×3.99 = closer to $40.00.

    • PG

Yes, me too. I come up with $39.94 for a pre-coupon total and $18.96 after coupons. After CVS cash card is taken into account it’s about $9 total for the items.

    • Kimberly

I think she ment to put down only two for the stayfree.

      • misty

But then the total after coupons comes to around $20

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oopsie! Sorry guys…you are right. I just updated the post!

  9. Steph

I think your math is wrong. The total I come up with is $39.94 after coupons total is $18.96…. Am I miss something?

    • Steph

      missing*

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nope, I just fixed my error…thanks for bringing that to my attention!

  10. Christine

Misty is right, the math is off on this. You will end up paying $8.96 when it is all said and done. A great deal, but not free.

  11. rebate queen

Neither of my CVS’ in Jacksonville, NC carry the Rembrandt items 🙁

    • mel

I guess it depends on how your store is set up, but I did not find the Rembrandt with the other toothpastes (crest, colgate, etc) but on the opposite side of the oral care aisle where the mouthwash is located. Mine only had 4 in stock, 2 with a red border and 2 with a green border.

  12. Jodi Walker

i get a lot of my extra coupons from family, friends, as well as the coupon machine at cvs around my area usually has a box for people to put discarded coupons.

  13. alex

which ALL is ringing up for $2? please inform us! the sales ad says 2 for $8 if you use 2 $1 off cpns it would be $6

    • Linda

All with Oxi Stainlifter was $2 each at my CVS. I go two of these for $0.50 each with coupons and $1 ECB. You can price check at the coupon machine. Regular All or Free and Clear are not part of the deal.

      • Linda

Although I’m not sure which type of ALL is on the left in the picture. I didn’t see that kind at my store.

    • mel

just the 2 types pictured above, which are 50 oz bottles. They are not the small & mighty variety.

      • Stella

One of the Small & MIghty kind was $2.00 at my local CVS.

  14. j

FYI folks in p cola…not a go for us!!!

  15. Marija

Could you not also use the $1 off stayfree that were recently available?

    • Tina Smile

You can use it. But you would lose more money because you should not stack it with the B1G1 coupon.

      • Barbara

I stack $1/1’s with BOGO’s all the time with no problem- since you’re not using 2 MF coupons on the same item, it’s not cheating. However, I’m not familiar with CVS’s policy so it may something they don’t let you do. Good luck!

  16. mel

I lucked out getting 8 sets of inserts last weekend, so I was able to get 8 bottles (and no I did not wipe out stock, there was a WHOLE end cap full of just those 2 types pictured above) Sweet deal, my detergent stockpile was running down to 2 bottles.

    • rita

do you know if they are HE compatible? Thank you,

      • mel

        yes, they are!

  17. Me

I miss CVS…. I wish they could come to Utah.

  18. Ashley

Oh, and my CVS marked their Christmas clearance to 75% off as of yesterday! I scored tons of cheap Christmas presents for next year for free with my ECBS! They had the table top ice hockey game for $2.50 (regularly $10.00), womens fleece pajamas for $1.99 (regularly (5.99), Shoot and Score Basketball game for $4.99 (regularly $19.99), Wuggle Pets (its kind of like making your own bear like at buil…d a bear workshop) for $4.99 (regularly $19.99), a Fox football handheld video game for $2.49 (regularly $9.99), Santa and snowmen Large coffee cups for $0.75 (regularly $2.99), a huge pallette of eye shadow cases for $1.49 each (regularly $5.99), and a thing of rolled up christmas name tags for $0.75 (regularly $2.99). I also stopped by Walmart last night and their Christmas clearance is now also up to 75% off! I was able to score a nice red glittery Christmas tree skirt for around $2.50 (regularly $10 something!!!!)

    • mommyspendsless

My Target just reduced Christmas clearance to 90% off. There wasn’t much left but I got a ton of gift bags, including some that were almost trash bag size for $0.20-$0.50 as well as another bag of bows and Little Critter book for $0.69.

  19. becca

good luck finding any in the charleston area, all of them are gone. the cashier at one cvs told me a lady came in and bought all they had!! Really?? Thanks for being greedy!

    • ketsy

Im sorry becca. The whole shelf clearing is always a tough topic for us couponers. Even in this website the topic has been touched, but then again posts like this one where it states buy 7 or like the desitin buy 10 come around and you kind of question it. Here lately its been about early bird gets the worm. In my area we have a CVS around every corner so maybe 8 within a 15 minute drive, so I just drive on but at the same time if it’s an item I need, I don’t hesitate anymore. We are in a time of need and every bit helps. Good luck next time 🙁

    • Tracy

Becca I so agree! It is ridiculous that others think it is okay to take 8-10 or more of one item. If there are plenty then fine but really you should order it if you want that many!!! I was pissed b/c when i went today they were completely out of stock and the cashier told me one lady came in wed. and bought 18 of them!!!! Ridiculous!!

  20. Kelly

I just went to CVS to check this out for myself and as i was price checking the bottles at the red machine my favorite cashier was talking about the sale and I told her the price that the bottles where scanning at & the manager then told me that, that price was wrong and that they would have to do a price adjustment. So I put them back and left. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have bought many items at CVS when there was a price error and have had no trouble checking out. I am just bummed that the next CVS is about 20 miles away!

    • ketsy

No they normally le tyou buy it for finding out the mistake and then remove them off the shelves until the error is fixed. No way can they adjust it up in front of you at the register.

    • mommyspendsless

Personally, I don’t point out “iffy” transactions until after my order has been rung up, I’ve paid and my merchandise has been bagged. I’ve had some cashiers notice a great deal while they’re ringing me up and I’ll give them a nod with a big grin and let them know that there’s a lot more on the shelf or I’ll explain the deal if they’re looking to get in on it. Pointing out that it’s ringing up half price or something is free after coupon ahead of time, even if it’s a legit deal, isn’t a good idea because some people don’t “get it” and they assume if you’re getting things too cheaply it must be a scam/fraud/violation of some policy/etc.

    • pam

This happened to me at my CVS. The manager saw my nine bottles in my cart and told me that the $2 per bottle was a mistake and would not honor this price. (Those 9 bottles didn’t even dent their supply on that large end cap, by the way!) This, of course, made me want it that much more. I went to 3 other CVS’s and scored my 9 bottles. If this is in fact a mistake, you may want to get this deal today before they fix their system… If it is not a mistake, then my CVS is overcharging by adjusting the price up.

    • CHI

I don’t think that the price is wrong or an error, b/c at my store the All Sunshine 26 load variety was actually marked with a sign that said: “2 for $4 (reguarly $7.99).
You should call carporate. My store didn’t have the Oxy variety. N Ga here.

  21. Kelly

I will keep my mouth shut next time, I was just trying to help some one out. beware of the new manager @ the Chatsworth, GA. CVS! She is not coupon friendly!

    • ketsy

      lol

  22. mindy

I did the deal just like Collin said and I knew math wasn’t rite but I got 2 $10 CVS cards. With my ecb I already had and my coupons I paid $11 and got 2 $10 cards. 🙂

  23. ketsy

Super excited this week. My paper guy left me double inserts of smartsource… maybe the xmas card came in handy…. hmmmm 😀 Anyhow, I bought :
    15 Johnson/ desitin products = $45
    – 15 ($1/1 coupons from SS, coupons.com and Collin’s link :D)
    – 2 CVS $3 off $15 baby purchase that printed in my receipts a few weeks back
    2 Rembrandt 7.98 -$5/2
    2 Stayfree 8.98- B1G1 (4.49)
    3 coke products $10
    12 ALL= $24
    – 1($0.75/1) 12/4rp – 2($1/1) 1/1 rp
Total before coupons = $95.96 After coupons = $62.72 plus $30 in gift cards
My total was really 26.47 which is 0.73 cents an item 😀 I did way better only 6.47OOP because I used 2 previous $10 gift cards from the Dec promos, 3.50 in rewards and 2.75 in ECBs and I kept rolling my gift cards for the next purchase… but thats complicated to explain lol.
    Woohoo! I love couponing and hip2save 😀

  24. Amie

They weren’t 2.00 at my cvs

  25. dani

At my store…palatine…they were not $2….bummer

  26. estela

i checked them at my cvs and they were 3.77

  27. Cassy

I did this deal last night at one CVS and went this morning to do some more shopping the shelves were empty of the $2 All this afternoon. I had to go to another area to finish my shopping. I have some serious couponers close by me so I have to travel a few miles away to get on the good deals. This is a good deal even without the coupons. I didn’t need anymore detergent but for this price I couldn’t pass this up!!

  28. swirlypop

An employee saw me scanning the ALL for a price check and said they were no longer $2. It was a mistake and had been fixed. He said they noticed the price error yesterday. Oh well.

    • Erin

The stores I went to had signs next to the oxi-active All that said 2/$4. Odd.

    • Kacie

That’s crazy! I got mine today (Monday) in the late afternoon and still got them 2/$4.

  29. mary

scored 4 all plus 2 boxes of Clairol natural instincts marked down to $2.62 and got $2 ECB for each box, so it was like paying $.62 for each one!! woohoo

  30. mindy

i wonder if they fixed the problem then, bc when i went in today all of them were also $3.77 missed out 🙁

    • Teresa

      Are you in California?

      • dianne160914@yhaoo.com

hi, im california i went to cvs last to check out this deal but when i price check this it’s ringing up $3.77. .. by the way what city are you in CA?

  31. Niecey

I found the All for $2. However they had been for 26 loads, so I wasn’t able to use the coupon, it says for 28 loads or larger. 🙁

    • mel

strange, my bottles say 28 loads?? I didn’t think All came in anything less than 28 loads, are you sure you didn’t misread the bottle?

    • PJ

Yes, I had the same problem. From the picture Colin posted, the orange cap All is 28 load and works like a charm with no problems but the white cap (with bleach) is only a 26 load and the coupon beeps on these.

      • Niecey

Yep, it was 26 🙁 The coupon beeped.

  32. edy

Just came back from cvs. Shelf empty no *ALL washing liquid cashier said! A lady bought them yesterday! Oh,well I had bought 10 papers! Got 10 clean&clear, and 20 bic razors, didn’t clear shelfs, and christmas 75% off bought some toys! And 1 johnson&johnson product 1 left short of 11.dlrs to get. 3 cvs cash cards! My total 208.00 had 10 bucks & 50 on cvs cash cards last week! Also bought 3 Axes, products and the light bulb, paid 26.35 cash got back 2 cvs gift cards and 4bucks for axe products and 2 bucks light bulbs! So its like I got my $ back!! I heard vive shampoo its on clearance and nice and easy hair color 2.99 also, my bic razors are buy 1 get 1 free that’s the cupon! But, its taking off full price $6.99 some are 5.49 some 5.99 and the cashier tryed to take off only the price off 5.99 or 5.49 but, register won’t let him! So the register its taking off $6.99. Also axe cpn buy one get one free! Its taking off $5.99 of each. Good luck to all of u! And thanks for ur postings!!!

  33. Mo

3 of my local CVS have marked lots of the hair color 75% off with coupons I bought 12 hair colors for under 3 dollars and got a $10 ECB.

  34. edy

The bic razors are at cvs buy one get one half off! With the cpn buy one get one free! So price its 6.99 the other 3.49 with the cpn pay 3.49 for 2 of them! Some are 5.49 the other one 2.74 men’s with cpn buy one get one free 2 razors for $1.24 since register its taking off $6.99!

Also, look for physicians new product purple items. Count towards cash cvs card “YOUTHFUL WEAR” they have 3dlr cpns peelies and a “TRY ME FREE” peelie for a rebate for free product up to 2 per houselhold.

  36. Lups

Got a great great deal today at CVS. Got about 14 boxes of Loreal dye, I practically paid about $1.59 after I receivedy 10 off from buying 25$ of Loreal. Of course to my luck I got a mean old cashier and was kinda pissed when I gave her the coupons (5$ off 2 boxes) she started saying something like ” I can only take a certain amount of these”… FYI the boxes were $2.14 ea, so she kept on saying that the coupon was too high in value. At the end she only took only some coupons so my total came up to be 11.54 or so… But guess what! Since I bought 25$ in Loreal Paris I ended up getting my 10$ ecb… Guess she felt dumb at the end anyways… It just upsets me that these cashiers act like they are the owners of the product. And I just finished re-reading the CVS policy just in case I was wrong, but I believe I am not. It clearly states that if the coupon is of greater value then the product, it will cover it but there is no money given back… Any opinions? Do I have this right?

  37. Kellie

Well now I know why my shelves have been cleared. Once something is posted on Hip2save (Love the website, just sayin) you can guarantee it will be sold out. I knew about the deal for the All yesterday but couldn’t make it out till today. Thankfully my CVS had 13 bottles. I dont like to clear shelves so I took 10 and left 3. For me I had NO All coupons. They were a regional coupon not in my inserts. I do however have GC and ECB to roll so I did just that. I also did that Finish deal. I will be getting more finish this week is there is any left at my stores. Heres a great deal for the Finish-

    (6) Finish Tabs/Gelpacks- $21

    Coupons-

    (6) $2.15 off Finsh
    (1) $4/20 CVS coupons (Can be won on ebay)

    Total before taxes- $4.10

If you have any ECB…Makes them all FREE.

Finish go towards the $10 CVS GC deal so next transaction do the All

    (6) All- $12

    Coupons-
    (6) All $1/1 coupons (If you have them)

    Cost before tax W/coupons $6.00- Without $12+tax

EARN $10 GC. If you spent $4 in Finish transaction and $6 in All…..After you score your $10 GC….It makes everythinG FREE!!!

    • Melissa

Did they accept the $2.15 finish coupon? My store only had the box of 20 on sale and the coupon is for 25.

      • Jennifer

I thought that too, but if you read the coupon carefully, it says Quantum 25 ct or larger, then has a comma, then says Powerball or Gelpacs. Then it goes on to exclude the 10 and 12 ct powerball (and maybe gelpacs – I’m remembering from this am). So, the 25 ct limit applies on to the Quantum. Just have to be bigger than 10 or 12 for powerball and gelpacs. If they would have meant 25 on everything they would have placed it at the beginning like 25 ct or larger quantum, gelpacs, or powerball OR just listed the three kinds then said 25 ct or larger. That’s my interpretation anyway

Plus, I used 2 of these at my CVS this am on the 20 ct powerball w/ beepage or issues of any kind.

        • Jennifer

          w/o beepage or issues I mean 🙂

          • Melissa

            Thanks!

    • Tracy

Kellie I don’t know how you don’t think taking 10 of something isn’t shelf clearing. Seriously that is shelf cleaning on something that big that others want! Not cool!

  38. Christina Green

Went to CVS today and was bummed to see that the All was marked at 3,77 and our coupon from our local paper was only .75cents off 1 so it made them 3.02 each but still did the deal posted but got the $10 ECB which I used towards a bunch of toys that were marked down 75% off my total came to $35.47 and I used my $10ECB to bring it down to $25.47 (First receipt showed a savings of $46.97)(but at the bottom of my trans#2 receipt it showed I had saved $109.43) so total trip I got:

    Trans#1
    (5) all laundry detergent (reg. $7.89) sale $3.77 used(5) $0.75/1
    (2) stay free pads packages (reg. $4.49) used BOGO
    (2) rembrant mouthwashes (reg. $5.99) sale $3.99 used (2) $5/1

    Trans#2 (used $10 ECB from trans. #1)
    (3) Cars themed toys (reg. $12.99 ea.)=Pd. $3.29ea.
    (2) 6pk mini squeeze car team (reg. $6.99)= PD. $1.79ea.
    (1) Discovery Kids digital cash register (reg. $19.99)= Pd. $4.99ea.
    (1) Green Power Ranger action figure (reg. $6.99)= Pd. $1.79ea.
    (1) Flat retractable electronic Piano (reg. $29.99)= Pd. $7.49
    (1) 2pk RC bummper cars (reg. $19.99)= Pd.$4.99
    (1) stuffed sock monkey holding a rolled life size fleece blanket (reg. $9.99) = Pd. $2.49

    Total OOP $52.64
    Total savings $156.33

For the life of me I can’t find the B1G1 for the Stayfree in either of the Smartsource circulars from 1/8. I only see a $ off coupon. I know I am getting older but am I that blind?
Anyone able to give me a clue as to which one is supposed to have it?

different regions get different q’s, sometimes different values. My area got the $1/1 coupon too, so no you’re not blind or going insane!

Giant food is having a 50% discount on stayfree this week. Makes them 1.67 before coupon plus buy 4 and get 20 cent off gallon of gas. I opted to use the 1.00 off coupon instead of bogo, comes slightly cheaper.

Went today since they get the truck in today and my store had 2 but they are ringing up $4 each so I passed. Cashier sd the $2 each was a mistake

Cashier had an attitude when I asked about it and rolled her eyes when used my $5 coupon on 2 rembrandts

Jan, that happens I have 2 cvs close by I go to where there is friendly cashiers, when I went yesterday, I was looking for clearance items! She cashier saw me and just called by my last name and she said if ur looking for clearance cosmetics there here! And the other cvs they, never have the tags put up for the advertysed sales and the manager passes by and don’t even smiles or a hello! And so, I go only if neccesary to that one! So, let’s not get discouraged and keep doing our shopping!! And I went to kroger they have the root rescue loreal clearance for $3.20each with $5.00 cpn on any hair color $1.40 for 2boxes not, free worthed!!

I just started using this site and tried my first trip to CVS b/c it is 45 minutes away. It would be nice if you mentioned where youa re located on each post b/c I took your post to mean it was $2 in the ad b/c I didn’t have the ad. I didn’t see all the comments until now but when I got to CVS they were all out of the ALL. They were also out of the desitin and rembrandt!! So they called another store and they had 4 all Oxy left they had saved for someone who never showed up. The cashier said they would hold them for me so I drove anohter 20 minutes out of my way only for them to ring up at $4 instead of the $2 you had posted. So, the manager wouldn’t honor it b/c clearly in the flyer it says 2/$8. It would be nice to have known that. Not to mention they told me someone came in and bought 18 of the ALL earlier that week. It is ridiculous that people overdo it and ruin it for others. I then drove an hour back home all for nothing!! Not happy!!!
