I will make sure to keep an eye out for it on my next visit. Two days ago, I went to Walgreens and found Centrum vitamin bottles on the clearance rack for $1.99, so I decided to take them and use the $3/1 & $1/1 coupons I have for Centrum. When I got to the register neither coupon would scan so the cashier called an assistant manager and she told me I wasn’t allowed to use the coupons because the vitamins were in bottles not boxes as soon on the photo. I argued with her that the coupon stated on any Centrum or Centrum Specialist, then she went on and gave me another excuse, saying because the vitamins were on clearance I couldn’t use coupons on them. Boy, I was furious, I left empty handed and mad, I should of talked to her supervisor.
I too once had a similar problem with a manager over rr’s. Go on their website and log in a complaint. The manager’s boss called me and gave me a full apology,a 10 wags gift card and retrained her regarding coupons.
Relax, it’s not the end of the world…remember it was not a life or death matter..
Adriana has every right to feel angry as she was not one in the right and a store assistant manager no less gave her the run around. Someone in a management position should not only understand her companies coupon policy, but a little thing that many employees have somehow forgotton…friendly customer service!

i agree with dawn . couponing can be very frustrating . you cant be afraid to stand up for yourself when things are not going as they should
I feel for you Adriana! Of all the couponing shopping I do, By far Walgreens is the worst when it comes to customer service!! The only reason I keep going back is that I can do quite well w/the deals & I end up donating lots of stuff to the Enfield Food Shelf. You were absolutely correct in using your coupons for Centrum – that was a great catch! Before I go up to the register, I always double check to make sure I have all my coupons in order & the coupon to product ratio correct. Normally I have no problems. A week ago, I had a cashier who couldn’t get it “right”. She voided the transaction out 3 times & it still wouldn’t work – she kept telling me I didn’t have the correct ratio & other excuses. Finally she called the manager, who was equally a DA! He tried to act like I was swindling Wags out of stuff because of using my coupons & RR’s (I think he was hoping I would go away – I am pretty stubborn – so that isn’t going to happen :)). By that point I was hopping mad. All I was getting was Loreal Age Perfect cream & a few small items. Should’ve taken a couple minutes – was there nearly an hour – but it finally came out to the price I figured it should’ve been – $2.04. By the end the manager was sweating buckets, turning red & fuming. I got a feeble “sorry” when he finally completed the transaction. If this happens again I am definitely going to do what Marie did (above) & complain on-line. I told the manager & cashier that they nearly did it in for me with couponing – it wasn’t worth all the aggravation they gave me for following “their rules”. And yes, I did have a copy of their coupon policy w/me – but if management can’t understand it – what good is their policy???
I called and put in a complaints about my Walgreens the wrong Walgreens called me back. I informed them it was the Walgreens closer to me. I never got a call back. This Guy literally slammed the phone down in front of me. Aside from getting pissed off and yelling at me that its the wrong ages. Because in the picture he couldn’t see infants on the box and the ages under the box on the coupon read 2-3 or the other box pictured 3-11. I was buying one transaction. No Dr but two coupons for two boxes. I refuse to walk into that Walgreens ever again.
Is this deal only good this week? Or is that the regular price for that size?
not on sale at my walgreens in central ca but i found the 2 ct breathe right strips for .99 cents used the 1.50 coupon so free……….. and the carrot lip butter was 1.67 used the $2.00 cp free also
