Thanks. I hardly ever see postings for Shop-Rite and that’s the store I’m stuck with here in the sticks. 🙂

    Thanks Collin!
I wonder if the cat will roll? If so, there’s a potential for a stockpile of drinks! 🙂

    • Mtle

      It rolls for me before..

      • Pamela

        Thank you!

  3. Laura E

Shoprite is awesome. It is the best!

  4. Snappy Dresser

I agree that Shop Rite and Acme never get any “bargain” press. I do use LRWC for SR. Thanks!

  5. Janelle

Is this valid at all Shoprite stores? My weekly circular doesn’t advertise this 🙁

  6. steph

Yes in fact this does roll.

  7. Sarah

The ad is on the 3rd page? It’s a $10 off your next order when you buy 10 of the following items. Most of the items are around $3 or higher, but the bottom left corner of this deal had the Lipton and the Sobe. I already went this morning. If you can’t find the Liption Naturals, I think they changed the name. I actually found Lipton Pure Leaf teas near the Pepsi end cap near the Tazo teas and those were the ones that were 5 for $5 and triggering the catalina. There was not a lot in stock!

  8. amanda

Off topic, but I just noticed a political ad on your sidebar. I feel like we’re inundated with political ads…would love to come here and just see the great deals you post!

    • Russ

Amanda, typically the ads are generated based on websites you’ve visited in the past. If you try clearing your cookies and browser cache, you might get some reprieve.

I know all my ads are always for stuff on websites I’ve visited, and when I get tired of looking at them, clearing my cookies and caches changes the ads.

      You’ll still get ads however… 😛

      • amanda

Interesting! Thanks for the tip, Russ! 🙂

        • kristen

Yeah the ads are important to keeping this website running, it helps pay for it! Interesting about the cookies I never knew that.

  9. Tracy

I did this deal this morning, and it rolled. I did two transactions back to back and used the $10 from the first to pay for the second.

  10. Tina

    Love Shoprite! Thank you Collin!

  11. judy

are there shoprites in grand rapids?

  12. Kim

I wish Ohio had Shop Rites!!! What an awesome deal!

Wallingford, CT store would not let me roll. Manager actually told me that if I come back today he will not honor the catalinas at all. I am very frustrated because I had 40 items in 4 separate transactions (10 Sobe, 10 Lipton Green Tea, 10 Lipton Lemon Ice Tea and 10 Lipton Peach Ice Tea). So now I have $40 worth of catalinas. I left the store and called them to find out their “policy” on catalina redemption. They told me they “think” I can redeem 4 at once. Does anyone know if I can. I would like to go tomorrow and buy groceries but I really don’t want to be embarrassed again 🙁

    • fran

Cherie, What you should have done is pay for the first order, get the $10 CAT, then pay for the 2nd order with the CAT from the first order – this is called “rolling”. I do think you can use the 4 CATs in one order.
Just a heads up. You brought attention to yourself by getting so many at one time. I’ve read where others are buying 10, taking them to their car and then going back in to get 10 more. Might want to limit yourself 😉

      • Cherie M.

That is what I tried to do…I bought the 10 Sobes and tried to use the cat towards the Liptons. They said they needed a “white card” in order to put the cat through so they called the manager over.
The worst part is that I just had to go back and exchange my Liptons. When I got home they had expired Oct. 31, 2011. I called the store up and they said that is the vendors fault, not theirs but that I could come in and exchange…so I just did that. But their shelves are cleared. They had to get them from what they will be putting out tomorrow. :/

        • Cherie M.

I think I wasn’t clear in my first post. Sorry! I had 40 total (10 of each kind) – 4 10 bottle transactions. When I reread what I wrote it sounded like I bought 160! OOPS! Only 40 total!!!

          • fran

I did know that you bought 40 bottles. I don’t know what a “white card” is, but I just think you got nailed for buying so many at one time. So, even after the manager came over, you still weren’t able to use the CAT coupon?
Are there any other S.R. stores you can go to? I have a feeling you might get a hard time again from that store. Others are rolling those CATs, so I don’t know why you couldn’t!?!
ALWAYS, and I mean always check the dates on everything you buy. You would be surprised at the expired stuff on the shelves. My hubby gets so annoyed that I say “check the date” before he puts something in the cart. It saves me from having to go back to the store. Just last night, I bought a bag of frozen peas and when I got home, peas were falling out of the bag…ugh!
Good luck with those CATs 😉

    • steph

I am sorry that happened to you. The thing is, it does not say anything anywhere about that you can’t use that catalina to pay for the next batch. I really don’t think it says it anywhere. Honestly, I would try and find another Shoprite, or go on another day. And even though you weren’t able to roll your catalina’s use that $40 to spend on your milk, bread, produce, meat, etc. It won’t be a waste. I would assume since Shoprites coupon policy is 4 identical coupons in 1 transaction, you should be able to use all 4 in one, but sometimes, they beep. So you might want to split up your transactions just in case.

  14. Laura

shoprite stores are only in the the NorthEast!

  15. Becca

Is this a SR catalina only? I see Target has the Sobe/Lipton on sale too….

  16. kristen

It’s SR only. and it does roll! Although, I didnt do a 2nd transaction today, the shelves were pretty empty at 9:30am this morning already. I’m going to go to a different store or see if they restock later in the week. I do my weekly shopping at shoprite anyway and figure if I can’t roll the deal later in the week, it’s still $10 off my groceries next week!

  17. Kasia

it is only one per card? So how can you get two catalinas ?

  18. steph

It is not 1 per card, it is 1 per transaction! The shelves were empty at my store too, I asked someone and they had a ton more upstairs. So, I then had my choice. But check your expiration dates.

  19. unknown

    Hi
all from brooklyn ny. sale is 10 for $12. and shoprite is out of stock

  20. Patti

Just to let everyone know that Shoprite has changed this to one $10 coupon per card per day. They kept getting their shelves cleared because the glitch kept letting the coupons roll all day so one could go in and do multiple transactions and wipe them clean. Still a great deal though! Don’t forget to use reusable bags to get them even cheaper!

  21. Kasia

I went to Shop Rite today and recieved a print out from machine that is only one coupon per card ( FYI I already had a previouse catatlina printed)
