Karen says:
Cool, thanks
Laura says:
Anyone know how likely this is to happen? Normally we wouldn’t go to Outback (almost never go out to eat), but this combined with being able to get gift cards thru my credit card (Chase) for less points than cash, I might get a GC and take us out for a treat!
Jennifer says:
Not to be a Debbie Downer, but you may want to think twice about this appetizer if you’re concerned about your health: http://www.outback.com/menu/nutritionitem.aspx?id=2115
Karen says:
…but onions are a vegetable
Robyn says:
I totally agree with you, the hospital bills from the heart attack that this appetizer will give you are going to be way higher than if you paid for a healthier meal somewhere else!
Katie says:
I absolutely agree with you, Robyn! The hospital bills will be higher and your quality of life lower. Not to say that an occasional treat is a bad thing, but in moderation. I work hard to keep in shape, so I’m pretty picky about the treats/splurges I give myself food-wise
Sarah says:
To my understanding it says it has to be used on the Monday following the race if you win it.
Heather Marie says:
Problem is, we’re all still waiting for the race! Mother Nature isn’t cooperating with NASCAR.
ManateeRawr says:
I know everyone is commenting on it not being super healthy, but there’s nothing wrong with a treat once and awhile. This isn’t a give-a-way for Free Bloomin Onion for life. It’s just once. So no harm in a rare treat!
Rachel says:
I agree! We don’t go out to eat that often so when we do It’s a real treat to get what we want!
Laura says:
100% agree with you
Laura says:
Definitely a treat! But seeing how many calories r in it will keep me from eating the entire thing! Moderation! Had I not seen that, I probably would eat much more of it than having seen it!
Amber says:
And most people don’t eat the whole thing by themself…. When hubby and I go out for a treat (Outback is MAYBE once a year) we split an onion and still barely eat half of it – so even then I’m only getting 1/4 of the bad calories and fat.
ashley says:
I’m now craving a bloomin onion lol I dont care how many calories or fat it has…it is just so good.
Kim says:
I was excited till I saw that it had to be used on a particular day. Bummer.
Hannah says:
Yumm! <3
Laura says:
woohoo….free bloomin onion!
